Words fail to express

the state of my gut upon hearing that The One has formally announced the start of his campaign to spend another four years using the White House as vacation home base.

In times like these, I turn to classical writers to express my feelings:

Anyone have any GOOD news?

  1. Sorry to be awol this weekend. The youngest had a karate tournament. She did good – got first place in her rank.

  2. The best news I can come up with is that he can only run for two terms.

  3. Well, there is some hope for change, while reading online news articles about WTF 2012, the comments are pretty brutal. None of the love slobber I remember from 2008.

  4. In my state, they are supposed to count all write-in votes, so I am going to vote in the dem primary and write-in Hillary’s name.

  5. Obama stopped campaigning?

Sitting quietly is part of the dicipline as respect for your sempai.

    • It’s embarrassing that he’s the first candidate to announce — either he’s such a weak candidate that he needs all the lead time he can get, or he’s antsy to get back to adoring crowds since the oval office is so booring. Or both.

      • Oh you know it. Michelle’s already announced her new project “Supporting Military Familes” which will take her all over the country visiting bases (traditionally friendly audiences for the incumbent because they have to be). First thing I thought… and fundraisers at night! Yep on our dime. This way he can use that billion dollars to just buy votes.

        • I HATE that they can expense account on tax dollar money the traveling! Grrr!!!

        • Kind of ironic that a president who was awarded a Nobel peace prize should have a first lady who has to focus on supporting military families….

  6. I saw this link at corrente:

SWAT team evicts Grandma and 11 children & grandkids from house of dead husband. She was making payments but Fannie Mae refused to accept it because the house was in the man’s name and he died without a will. WTF.

This article is at Michael Moore’s website – the guy who helped elect BO. Thank you very much, Mr. Moore, for another WTF moment from your president.

  7. Trainwreck gaper alert (bring your popcorn):

Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert), writes an appallingly sexist blog post, takes it down, then has the poor judgement to engage feminist blog commenters on a different blog about it.
    http://www.feministe.us/blog/archives/2011/03/24/scott-adams-to-mens-rights-activists-dont-bother-arguing-with-women-theyre-like-children/

    • Wow! That truly is popcorn worthy! It takes some ignorance to try to mansplain to feminists on thier home turf. WTF did he think would happen? Everyone will see his assessment on their reading level and say “Oops! My bad!!”

For the record, I never thought much of Dilbert because most of that shit really happens (at the places I work) and it isn’t funny. Not even a little.

Oh wait, isn’t there a talking dog or something? We never had any real talking dogs where I work. Talking dogs can be funny when they aren’t testing software.

  8. It appears the Obamaganda is starting right out of the gate with the “you HAVE to vote for Obama otherwise the evil Republicans will take over” meme. Head up to ObamaNation: 1) Obama is an evil Republican and 2) they’re already running the show. If it were up to me I’d have a liberal option on the ballot come WTF 2012.

  9. thanks for the post. I continue to be appalled by him. We got a postcard from the Obama campaign on Friday which was basically–on one entire side– a profile of ‘the one.’ This despite our constantly telling them to shove it. All hell is breaking out everywhere, but he wants the love again. I can only hope that Americans aren’t deluded again. And sexism getting worse everywhere. We do need Hillary.

  10. Beck is predicting Hillary will run. He quotes from an LAT op-ed too about why Hillary must run….

This is only day one of Obama’s “announcement”, this will be fun. :D

  11. [...] Where’s the HOPE? Where’s the CHANGE? [...]

  12. beck right 92 percent of the time.:)

  13. Ug. {raises head up from desk pilled with work, sees Obama’s announcement, puts head back down, hard}

  14. What I fail to understand is no matter how many times I relegate the Obama emails to the junk file, they still manage to slip the filter…

    it just pisses me off.

  15. New post up. :D
