“I’m Not Sure Who the President Was Talking To”

Dear Maxine:

If you want to see some O-love you gotta quit letting him walk all over you. He takes you for granted because he can.

Try playing hard to get. Don’t promise him your support. Make him earn it.

  1. I thought he was talking to cousin Pookie again.

  2. She better watch out, Obama likes throwing old women under the bus.

    • It’s true!

You have to watch those old women, though, some of them are damn tough. I was watching that 62 yr old swimming to Cuba that got stung by all the jellyfish. Holy crap, that takes tough to a whole new level. I once got stung by a jellyfish and I was out of commission for a couple of weeks. 10 yrs later I’m still whining about it.

  3. If you tell him you’ll support him no matter what, you’re telling him to take you for granted. Kind of by definition. It’s clear from the way he treats the CBC and the AA population in general, that he could care less. Get a clue people.

Of course it’s great that there is an AA in the WH. Great. That glass ceiling broken. And it’s fine that he’s actually a Republican. Or more likely, a soulless opportunist. He wasn’t the first president to be that, and won’t be the last. Whatever. But at some point you got to actually want results. Wake up people.

  4. Where was Maxine when Obama was lecturing black people about not feeding their kids Popeye’s fried chicken for breakfast?

I remember reading some racist hysteria when Obama was first elected, people were complaining that he was going to give all the jobs to black people and redistribute the wealth and institute reparations for slavery, and, and…

Bullshit. Obama doesn’t even like black people. I could have told you that.

  5. Maxine, he’s just not into you. Get over it. Sit down and shut up.

  6. President Barack Obama is swiping at Texas Gov. Rick Perry, criticizing him as “a governor whose state is on fire, denying climate change.” from Politico.

It seems everyone is on Obama’s shit list. Except billionaire’s who give him love with money tied to it. What an asshole.

  7. Maybe he thinks Jews and Gays don’t wear bedroom slippers to march? Maybe that’s why he doesn’t berate them, Maxine? Or put on a fake Jewish accent when he addresses them – going all “Oy vey! I should bother my mother for more taxes when that meshugener Buffet has plenty???”

It just burns me up that she’s so on target in everything she says, then ends with “but of course we support him to the nth degree, and will get out and vote for him!”

    Gawd, what an idiot.

    • Wait until he’s out of office – you won’t ever see his ass around black people again.

      • Most race hustlers have no desire to live their real lives around the people they supposedly champion. They’re off to the gated white communities and the Hamptons as soon as the microphone gets turned off.

        • Yeah, like Rev. Wright. Retired, moved into a $10 million home in a gated community, all thanks to a credit line provided by his church members. Ugh.

    • If she wants to wean his Black supporters away, she needs to start gently. Start with whispering “The emperor has no clothes” till they start agreeing.

Let it build — THEN pull away the figleaf.

  8. Yep, “you gotta shop around,” but at this point I think “do that to me one more time” might be more appropriate.

  9. Speaking of sad but apt, Iowahawk tweets:

1st guy: “I just bought a Grecian urn.” 2nd guy: “What’s a Grecian urn?” 1st guy: “Whatever the Germans decide.”

  10. Maxine
Didn’t your mother tell you ” they do not buy the cow when they can get the milk free?”

Why should he bother, where you gonna go?

unemployment needs to start in DC asap

  11. Those pesky Congressional PUMAs….never really loved Obama like we love Obama.

Obama supporters charge that some of Obama’s more vocal black congressional critics – Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), and Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus – were Hillary Clinton supports who are now engaged in a policy of “I told you so.”

“Ordinary (African-American voters) are hurting and want action, but they are not going to abandon ship and are not the ones who are all but saying (Obama) sold-out,” said a Democratic staffer for a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. “That’s coming from people who didn’t back Obama from the start.”
