What elected Obama, was the Pelosi, Kennedy and other party insiders who pushed, and eventually walked Obama over the finish line. Hillary handled the media just fine. Without the caucuses, that were handled by the Democratic Party insiders, Obama would have been toast, even if he had the media.
Obama could not put away the nomination on his own. We see the same thing right now with Romney. He has the media and the party insiders, but he can’t put away the nomination because he’s a bad candidate. I’m going to hate the 2012 election if the two candidates are Obama and Romney.
