Stunning. I really don’t like the politics of Breitbart, and occasionally Uygar will actually criticize Obama in sensible ways, so I would tend to like him more, but here Uygar can’t seem to hear through his ows/ofa cool-aid fog. Really amazing and sad.

Screw the school lunch police. i said this before my brat has never been hungry. She gets a big breakfast then lunch at school then an after school meal. Dinner and then a late night (7 pm during jeopardy) snack. I think it is beyond offensive to dictate to a parent how their kid must eat. I keep junk on hand but it is seldom used. Real juices half watered down with club soda. Kid has never been deprived of a sweet. I let her go crazy the few days after Halloween and then she never touches again. believe she’d rather eat slices of cheese and grapes because I never told her she couldn’t have an Oreo
To be fair I think an individual’s relationship with food is very significant and the individual trained to inspect was probably just following a silly protocol. Extreme yes but probably just over zealous. When i was a kid we were poor and proud no way we were doing the free lunch. Eggs and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches were often breakfast lunch and dinner. Lunch at school should be the fun meal of the day. So maybe this had more to do with forcing a family to participate in the mechelle approved menu.
