Every year about this time I take a little break. It’s partly due to burn-out and partly due to a dearth of stuff to write about. OWS has flatlined and the GOP race has been talked to death. Obama isn’t doing anything noteworthy and we’re stuck in that lull between the Super Bowl and Opening Day in baseball.
I’ll still be around but posting will be slow and erratic. Hopefully my blogmates with help pick up the slack. Meanwhile my muse and me are going on an early Spring Break. Maybe I’ll go to Mexico and find a nice beach to live on.

For one thing, as a woman in politics you can actually eat enough food to survive! Yikes, seeing Angelina Jolie looking so thin last night was really disturbing.
I hope they do a Salt sequel and Jolie decides to beef up. I hate it when she goes through these emaciated phases. It cannot be good for her health.

Nah, they’re still going strong. It’s just that they’re becoming an embarrassment so the media is trying to avoid the subject. At the moment Occupy Denver is busy throwing urine bombs at cops.

I hate this time of the year. Everything outside looks dead and mildewed. Most of my chores are done except the infernal tax returns. I am bored with Obama, the Republicans, the Democrats, the pundits, and the political cartoonists. While I cannot go anywhere, I can shut the drapes park my butt with a big pile of books and ride it out till spring like a mole.
