According to what I’ve been reading the past few days any woman who has sex outside of marriage is a promiscuous slut. So what’s that make Reagan? He remains our only divorced president, but even worse when he was 38 years old he deflowered an innocent virgin who was less than half his age. And no, they weren’t married.
He also wrote this to another girlfriend:

Sounds like a line to me.
If we’re gonna slut-shame women then fair is fair. Ronald Reagan isn’t the only man whore out there. Newt Gingrich is a man whore. So is Rush Limbaugh. According to the Bible so is every single man who ever looked at a woman (or another man) with lust in his heart.

BTW – Rush and his Dittoheads are obsessed with all the sex that Sandra Fluke is supposedly having. Why aren’t they concerned about the man whore(s) having sex with Sandra Fluke?

Am I alone in not caring about my elected officials sex lives? I care more about my elected official voting in a manner that reflects the wishes/interests of the constituents who put elected him/her. Hypocrisy has for me become so mundane. They all are. If the footsy player in the men’s room was representing my interests what do I care if he is gay or closeted. See little if any difference between someone who claims to be the greenest president ever but has used more fossil fuel in the last three years than I and ten of my closest friends will use in our lives. So whatever the congress critter was who had a wide stance. Big fucking deal if he voted in accordance of what was expected by the citizens who put him in office. I am far more offended by the fact that my retired parents are worried about their utilities, groceries and the price of gas than I ( a gay man) am about some closeted guy. Do not find WJC even remotely attractive but I’d do a number on a cigar to get those days back

LOL! I always thought that if we taught kids about the sex lives of our elected officials, they’d choose to remain abstinent a lot more. I mean, I’m a bit older so reading about the sex life of Reagan or Clinton doesn’t gross me out, but I think a 16 year old would be really horrified to discover that “old” people have sex too.

Same here. Funny thing is, I expect this crap from the right because they have had this thing about monitoring the bedroom for years. Well, part of them. The libertarian / fiscal conservative side doesn’t as much. But liberals are supposed to be about lifting up women and minorities, watching out for the underserved, the oppressed. Turns out to be crap. It’s all tribal.

I sometimes think the far right makes some sense
I am a 45 year old gay man who grew up in a Catholic home. I find men dancing on the street to be bacchanalian and in many ways irresponsible. I adore a 5.5 year old and I have had zero need to express any sense that i was a homosexual. She doesn’t need to know anything about sex. Well I am an idiot. We went to the museum and had to take two buses after the first we were stuck in place from which I had to carry a 5.5 year old through a gay parade.
Call me Elizabeth Hasselbech if you will but I see no reason why on apublic street men or women should be allowed to parade overt sexuality.
I hope noone who reads this has to ever explain an erection to a five.five year old. I am gay and I pray I handled it well but really don’t the gay extravaganzas in every major city sort of hurt the cause. I mean how do you yell take me seriously and have the same groups expressing offensive gay or straight sexuality?
Nothing like having to explain sexual things to someone very young. Best to keep things very simple, and a bit silly. Because in the end, they really don’t want to know that much.
I don’t know, sex and nudity are natural. Some cultures do it pretty openly, even with kids around. It’s no big deal. But I guess in our culture it’s pretty taboo, so it’s a bit shocking to see. And in that context, I agree, people could behave a little better. But at the same time, we need adult events too. We can’t always be “thinking of the children”.

I cannot believe I made it through almost five years. I am a great gay uncle and I quit it all my whole life when I once walked into a daycare center and so this little girl to a look back at me. It was an awful place and I had only met her twice in passing as she is my grand niece. Anyhow she never went back to day care after that day. I’d love to say I was so giving but thats not how it works. I could not have ever stepped away from that little person. Now she is almost 6 and she asks me why I am not married. Little brat tells me(we bicker all the time) that she loves me and I just need to find my princess. What do you tell a kid?
Probably keep references gender neutral until the time is right. She’ll figure it out before long I’d guess.
Lie– I care about a little one and I often think when, how will I tell her I am gay. Sad because I don’t see any need to approach any of it. Do not get why our relationship should be anything but great uncle/best friend.
