  1. Romney:
“I love American democracy.  I’m good friends with the owners of it.”

Unlike Obama: raised a poor black child, a man of the people…

    • Didja know that Obama worked in the sugar cane fields at age three next to his mother so they could afford to buy food stamps?

      • That’s about as authentic as the “Son of a sharecropper” story George Jefferson used to tell.

      • is it safe to mention he who shall not be named and could not make out in a prison with a fist full of pardons. is now saying that backtrack who came from a poor single mother on food stamps is more the American dream than Romney.
somehow never having a real job and being carried does not seem to me as being the American dream

    • Actually, using Steven Martin’s line from The Jerk is the perfect way to describe Obama on so many levels, even though it is so over your head that it had to be unintentional on your part. You’re like a Useful Idiot Savant.

    • That’s true. Mitt Romney is good friends with the American people, the owners of American Democracy. Obama prefers to keep his distance from the rabble.

  2. Interesting, Sarah backs Lugar’s opponent and now super pac withdraws funding.

  3. Sarah speaks and they listen. :)

  4. I was not a Bush fan, never voted for him , I was a democrat while he was in office. that said

I admire him very much for this. This is an example of a person who understands and thanks those who made a sacrifice for this country.
Whether or not we shoud have gone to war is moot now.

    • I was never a Bush fan nor supported the war. And happily let got of all that in anticipation of a Dem president. Well, so much for that plan…

But I did see a segment on the bike ride and thought it was a nice way to spend time with wounded vets.

    • I voted for Bush in 2000 because I was pissed at the Dems not coming up with something better to field than Gore. Bill didn’t even campaign for him :( I voted Kerry in 2004, but com’on, was that the best they could do? Grrrrrr. Then 2008, I again voted for the anti-Dem, and we got the anti-Dem anyhow.

12 years later, I’m still pissed at the Dems for not fielding something better than Obama. ABO baby :D

  5. http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/04/obama-got-osama-but-lost-the-middle-east/

sort of backs up what Romney really said , going after one man does not cure the problem

  6. Apparently a Cantor based action fund is still backing Lugar:

The Young Guns Action Fund, run by allies of Eric Cantor and to which Cantor has contributed, has committed $100,000 to supporting Dick Lugar.

I like Cantor, and have always supported him, but the Young Guns are way off the mark on this one and should follow the lead of American Action Network and pull out of the Indiana Senate primary race.

So does mean that Cantor is now at war with Palin?

  7. Dogs not on the menu…especially that first one. “War Dogs of the World”. An interesting photo essay of various countries and their working dogs.

  8. The agent who foolishly ruined his career, and many others, has been named by CNN. In related news his house is on the market.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2136457/Secret-Service-prostitution-scandal-Arthur-Huntington-married-agent-refused-pay.html

    • there is no excuse for this man and the others involved and their stupidity. The sad thing is that others who were not involved will also pay a price.
      his family
      other agents

  9. this senate bill 1813 looks a little scary
IRS can prevent you from leaving country, it they say you owe back taxes, no notice or anything
It might be one of the bills that nobody reads the whole thing and just passes it

  10. After four hours of mulching work on the gramkids school courtyard yesterday I’m spending Caturday sitting on a heating pad, wishing it was a massager…
