Toure On Aurora: “I Would Hope That It Would Be A Trayvon Martin Situation”
“We understand those are outlier crimes, somebody going to shoot up the mall or shoot up the school. I would hope that it would be a Trayvon Martin situation that would make people think, ‘Wow. wrongful death, even though it’s a legal gun owner. How do we move forward from this situation?’ But so much of this issue, I think comes down to, ‘Let’s make sure law abiding white people have access to guns and make sure that black criminals are not,’” MSNBC’s Toure said on “The Cycle” today.
“And we don’t even want to talk about that sort of racial, black are at the bottom of it all, but that’s definitely part of it,” Toure added.
I guess Touré Neblett has never been to a ghetto. If he had been he would know there are lots of gun stores in the ‘hood.
Shame on Touré Neblett and shame on MSNBC for giving him a platform to air his racist ideas.

You know what real racism is? When people (the media, the politicians) are so focused on things like the Colorado shooting, they completely ignore the 275 people shot to death in Chicago this year.
Does anybody care? Has President Obama asked for flags to be lowered to half mast for them? Of course not, because there’s no opportunity for political exploitation so those people have no value.
Somebody asked why these kind of shooters are always well educated, white guys. They aren’t, it’s just that when a black man goes on a crazed shooting spree, it doesn’t get media attention, especially if he’s shooting other black people.

I have worked with white, black, oriental, American indian, hispanic people without a big problem for many years. I worked with people from every part of this country for many years. Got along with all.
People were expected to do the job they were paid to do and do it to the best of their ability. Color or sexual orientation did not matter. Can you do the job. If not bid out. It was that simple
I’m certainly becoming less sympathetic about the race card, and more and more questioning of what actually happens within black communities. It doesn’t bother me at all, though. I think it’s another point of greater awareness developing within me.
