So far everything going as expected

  2. carol haka says:

This is soooooooo fucked up!

  3. Somebody says:

Not in Florida, Virginia and Ohio yes……but Florida is pissing me off. I honestly and truly thought Romney had a comfortable lead here.

  4. Somebody says:

My county in Florida went red……it went 74% thereabouts for Romney so don’t blame me.

  5. cj says:

Who’s watching CNN? Is this true?

    Joy Keller‏@JoyKeller1

CNN saying Romney will likely win VA and FLA #RomneyRyan2012

    • Mary says:

Probably yes. Rove was explaining the early votes were counted first—come in making Obama look good. Most of the rest will go to Romney. (Blame Rove if it doesn’t happen)

    • fif says:

I am and I haven’t heard them say that at all.

  6. tommy says:

    Jest wokf up. Wgo xon?

  7. cj says:

    erthuston‏@warnerthuston

NBCs Chuck Todd is saying Romney wins Florida.

  8. tommy- you’re not too late- no winner yet.

  9. swanspirit says:

  10. Somebody says:

BTW I’m sick of hearing the racial breakdown of voters. So the new rule is if a candidate sucks, but he’s white…..I’m supposed to be a blind follower just because he’s white……is that what we’ve come to?

I don’t give a crap is a candidate is pink and purple polka dot, what matters to me is their character, their records, their ideas. I guess I just have this voting thing all wrong.

  11. simofish says:

By the end of the night I bet the Mrs is gonna make me 1) take more pills or 2) Make me drink
I am still SHOCKED this race is that close. I want Romney to win. Then the next 4 years does such a GREAT job in 2016 we have a Reagan / Mondale win.

  12. catarina says:

Just got a hangup call from “Faith Prayer.”
I guess we’re resorting to prayer now.

  13. piper says:

Remember the guy who wore his lucky Giant’s cap and they won. Maybe he should put it on for another win, Mittster.

  14. Erica says:

Okay, I’ve got to drive home, gonna miss the next 40 minutes or so.

Ya’ll be good, eat protein, keep the faith.

Oh, and I expect Florida to go Romney by the time I get home–so get right on that, would you?

  15. catarina says:

    PA might be Romney’s

  16. @CBSPolitics

.@WyattCBS reports: Virginia officials have stopped reporting results, as voters are still lined up to vote http://cbsn.ws/election

  17. britgirls says:

CNN Wolf Blitzer saying major projections coming now …

Then a recording for Dora the Explorer came on.

    That’s all I know! 8O

  18. WOOT!!! TEXAS 38 EC for R

  19. yttik says:

Every news channel is predicting something completely different. It’s kind of funny and totally biased.

  20. tommy says:

F**k CNN. Both FL and VA belong to us. Untill they show me RESULTS that prove me wrong.

    • britgirls says:

I know. I’m watching the results come in on Fox’s website, though. And Florida’s looking so damn close. 71% reporting and Obama’s slightly ahead. Way too close for comfort. :(

    • fif says:

CNN is making Fl sound like Obama’s, so it conflicts with other reports.

  21. threewickets says:

Nothing to see yet I don’t think. Eventually we’ll realize what we’ve always known. The only critical battlegrounds we really need to track are Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa. If Romney wins one of those, most likely he’ll win election. :-)

    • yttik says:

It’s still to early! The media is kind of hilarious. They tried to bring us Ohio results and all they could produce was a map of Ohio. The poor guy was like, “so here’s a map of Ohio, this is what it looks like…we don’t have any results yet… but here we can see the outline of the state…”

      • Karma says:

Good, love to see them sweat. FoxNews seems positively calm by comparison. Might have to channel surf for a bit….

  22. leslie says:

Does anyone remember the 2004 election when Kerry was announced the winner, not the winner, the winner . . . aand then he lost?
It could happen tonight with ob. He could lose.

    • leslie says:

I worked for Kerry in WI that year and when I decided to drive home to Chgo area late that night instead of partying with everyone, Kerry was “winning”. Really until nearly 2 in the morning it was a given on all the news stations I was listening to in the car were reporting Kerry the winner.
      No. He. Wasn’t.

  23. mcnorman says:

Hey Klown, how many bottles are you down?

  24. britgirls, on November 6, 2012 at 6:01 pm said:

CNN Wolf Blitzer saying major projections coming now …

    That’s all I know! 8O

I’m strreaming it and it froze right there

Must be TPTB didn’t want him talking~

  25. Romney just took a slight lead in FL.

  26. Fox reporting 500 people (five hundred) still in line in VA Beach- and they will be allowed to vote. VA Beach- military?

  27. myiq2xu says:

I’ve been very naughty and I think I deserve a time out.

  28. ME says:

I am too invested in the results. I am not doing this again.

  29. Mary says:

Fox just gave Pennsylvania to Obama.

  30. votermom says:

    Fox called Pa for Obama

  31. britgirls says:

Did they? Damn them! On the Fox website they only show 5% reporting in PA. It ain’t over!!

    • piper says:

How can Fox call it for obama with such a low percentage – they’re messing with out heads. I trust Fox just a bit more than CNN which isn’t saying much.

  32. lorac says:

Fox is callng PA for Obama 67% to 31% only 7% of vote in though!

  33. Fox projecting PA for The fucking fraud- just checked the state page- even Fox is full of shit, unless they have the results before the PA Sec State- only a 999 out of 9257 districts reporting. Only Philly is really reporting- a few districts south of Pittsburgh.

    • britgirls says:

Yeah, I don’t know WTF is up with that. Not going to pay it any mind right now. It’s not over.

  34. lyn5 says:

The Clintons are dead to me.

  35. britgirls says:

Fucking Florida is giving me a heart attack. They’re 307 votes apart on the Fox website now. 78 % reporting.

  36. FOX calling PA for Obama

  37. http://www.electionreturns.state.pa.us/

Click on the counties to get the results for each- you will see that hardly any have reported.
Once again, the whole state is enlsaved by fucking Philadlephia NJ

    • lorac says:

Plus, when they project with only a small percentage of votes in, they’re assuming the remaining dem areas are all going to go dem – but there may be a surprise, if enough dems are bailing

    • cj says:

      Jack O’Brien‏@TheJackOBrien

@ToddKincannon Dick Morris just tweeted that the PA call is too early. His pollster is in Horsham, PA…he knows.

    • britgirls says:

I’m looking at the counties and they called it for Obama in my county with only 3% reporting. How can that be? Slooooowww down!

    • votermom says:

      Chester county went for Mitt.

  38. Something is screwy with PA

  39. lorac says:

fox saying republicans will keep house

    • Constance says:

Better than nothing! Better than Dems having both houses and the President. A split government can maybe save us but I don’t want that damn insurance company bailout “healthcare”.

  40. yttik says:

Fox news is really down in the dumps tonight! Seriously, don’t watch them, they’re more gloomy then CNN.

Politico is doing a pretty good job guestimating

    http://www.politico.com/2012-election/map/#/President/2012/

  41. DandyTiger says:

Fuck. I think Obama’s going to win this. I’m going for another bottle.

  42. tommy says:

Keep the faith, people. Don’t fall for the projections. Those change all the time. Don’t give up on PA. The RESULTS are whats important.

  43. Mary says:

Fox: Wisconsin goes to Obama. Fuck.

    • britgirls says:

But it’s effed up. Only 1% reporting and Mitt is ahead so far in WI 57% to 42% for O.

      WTH is going on, Fox?

  44. Very very fucked up. How can they project a whole state when even Philly has not reported half their votes?
Something is rotten! Only about ten percent of precincts reporting.
And Fox just called WI for teh fraud.
    Getting depressed now.

  45. catarina says:

imscreaming at the tv wtf just happened in wisconsin

  46. carol haka says:

Thank you! My son has been in the middle of the storm in New York. He and friends have had to move around, take taxis, no heat , no cell – and he lost his f*cking iphone, subway service out, …. he was to move into his new place on Wednesday and it was fucked and so was his money. A total nightmare. NYU closed all last week and no help from them or Bloomberg. I’ve only had scarse emails and no calls or text. And thanks to Obama his Mother can’t help him for the first time in his life. This election had better straighten up. What a bunch of bullshit!

  47. simofish says:

    I am not feeling good

  48. t says:

What I want to know is where the heck is Chris Matthews! He’s my election coverage guy!!!!

  49. If WI is out, that leaves only two paths left open. Not liking this at all.

  50. t says:

With no Chris Matthews, I’m getting my results from The Onion! http://www.theonion.com

  51. FL will be auto recount if this sticks

  52. Romney currently winning MN, though,

  53. leslie says:

In FL romney is fewer than 700 votes ahead of obama with 78% of the votes counted

  54. piper says:

The polls just closed in WI – there is no way that the media has the results.

  55. simofish says:

We MUST WIN OHIO AND VIRGINA

  56. Huh. Romney just took the lead in WI, yet they’ve called it for Obama.

  57. yttik says:

Fox news is full of poo! Seriously, they’re not even trying to be accurate. They’re calling Romney states for Obama with less than 1% of the vote counted.

  58. Constance says:

Dang it I thought this was going to be more fun. I am used to finding the President disgusting since that’s the way I’ve felt about it for the last 10 years, but I was really hoping for a positive change. I guess we better buckle our seat belts and get ready to ride out 4 more years of the SOS.

  59. nerdle says:

C-Span has Obama at 123, Romney 153. That actually seems more accurate, if what piper and ProudMilitaryMom are saying.

  60. DandyTiger says:

    Jessie Jackson Jr. retains seat.

  61. votermom says:

Maybe I should just go to bed.

  62. Shez ZK says:

The Corporupt Media appears to want to have their horse race one way or another. Or are they trying to let Obama down easier….

  63. DandyTiger says:

Some of these calls with only small % vote in is based on exit polls. These exit polls could be as off as regular polls. Who knows. If they count votes and things change, you’ll see massive law suites from Obama.

    • Constance says:

The thing is people resent exit polls, they refuse to answer and they lie. It’s no ones business how you vote so if all these are is exit polls then there is good reason for Romney hope.

  64. mcnorman says:

Rove said that he has to take OH period.

    • threewickets says:

Would love to see early returns from Marcy Kaptur’s Ohio 9th, the biggest bellweather of them all. They might already know who’s won the election. But they tend to report late. :) Still no surprises yet.

  65. piper says:

If the media are basing their projections on exit polling there will be some oops later on. According to the recall exit polls, Barrett was beating Walker.

I think that Fox is playing a game – they want to part of the ‘in’ group if obama wins so their projections are skewed – remember that they had been shut up in the recent State Dept and CIA briefings.

  66. tommy says:

Come on dudes and dudettes. Don’t get so low. Its only projections, not results. The freakin’ MSM do it all the time. We can win this.

  67. Constance says:

I wonder if the Republicans have the capacity to figure out that “legitimate rape”, trans-vaginal ultrasound, and male outrage over birth control when no one is even talking about if ED drugs will be covered by Obama care are no win policies for them. I wouldn’t bet on it.

  68. indigogrrl1 says:

this shit is rigged. no doubt about it.

  69. kanaughty says:

I really wanted to never see this celebrity in chief ever again on my tv!!! Ack please win romney!!!

  70. piper says:

According to state map 131 out of 3500 precincts are reporting Romney ahead approx 69000 to obama 53000. So Fox is full of shit in regards to WI

  71. lorac says:

Yeah fox just said 56-43 Romney in WI even though it’s “called” for Obama – I’m starting to think they’re calling stuff early to keep it even and “exciting”….

  72. Constance says:

What the hell is taking WA state so long to report preliminary results, I want to know if the Marijuana initiative passed, that could help a lot if we get stuck with 4 more years of Bronco.

  73. WTF?!?! Did CNN just show Romney leading Wisc?

  74. votermom says:

Someone said c-span is better to watch. I agree, they don’t project.

  75. swanspirit says:

    FLORIDA
    O 3,649,198 49.49%
    R 3,661,414 49.65%

  76. tommy says:

    (((((britgirls)))))

  77. WTF is boo hoo boehner doing- he is slurring his words and sounds like he is giving a concession speech- somebody get the hook

  78. lorac says:

I just looked at cnn.com – they’re project Obama win in PA breaking news

  79. votermom says:

    DON’T PLAY WITH ME CNN!

  80. tommy says:

    Boehner. Lol, PMM

  81. Not sure I have EVER seen states CALLED with less than 5% in with LOSER leading

    • djmm says:

I know — that is really odd. But they are calling winners based on exit polling. Remember how well that worked in Florida in 2000.

      djmm

  82. swanspirit says:

Warren won over Scott brown :(

  83. kanaughty says:

God abc is so wanting to call ob the winner. They are like he is only 30 away :(

    • lorac says:

      Fox has it O 157 to 153 total electoral votes. 157 +30 doesn’t equal 270 – abc is crazy!

      • kanaughty says:

Yeah they are adding in what they think are future blue states :( this is intimidation if i have ever seen it! I can’t believe ob could ever be a two term prez! This is so annoying!

    • kanaughty says:

They are doing this early projection shit sk that romney will concede too quickly i bet :( i hate those chicago politicians!!!! Grrrr. Please don’t concede, your votes will come romney!

  84. lorac says:

When there are so many upset with the incumbent, I think it’s just not right to project based on party demographics in remaining counties – didn’t stations used to wait a really long time before calling, to make sure they’re right..?

New Hampshire called for Obama by fox

  85. lorac says:

    only .18 in for NH

we just have to wait for final results

  86. ME says:

Okay people like Hillbuzz were overconfident.

  87. carol haka says:

Obviously someone slipped me acid!

  88. “Fox News Decision Desk”

Not YOUR decision – OURS – says MSM

  89. tommy says:

Myiq, you ok, dude? No slashed wrists or nothing, right? I don’t see you in the latter half of the thread. Come on back and join us.

  90. Glennmcgahee says:

Our local news in South Florida is stating there are voting tabulation problems and reports of machines voting for multiple candidates. In my precinct there were no machines to vote on – paper filled out with a pen and then fed to a tabulator. So Florida’s reports are skewed.

  91. lorac says:

    Romney wins MOntana and Utah

  92. lorac says:

    now it’s 162 Romney to 157 Obama
