I was minding my own business about mid-day yesterday when a black helicopter from DHS swooped down and fried my internet connection. Moments ago it was finally restored.

I have been climbing the walls the last 18 hours like a junkie feenin’ for a fix.

This is an open thread while I catch up on everything.

      Ahhhh, I see many noms for Team Obama :D Funny how all that Hollywood schmoozing paid off. I think Lincoln will sweep for Speilberg, he raised the most money from Academy Voters and they all want jobs in his future films.

      I think the ratings are going to tank for the broadcast as they should have thrown in a blockbuster like Dark Night or Avengers, you know, movies people actually went to ;)

    Welcome back. We lost power for about an hour last night. Right when the TV weatherman was explaining to us that all was well and the wind was unlikely to trigger any power outages. He barely got the words out when pffftt.

    I want to be a weatherman. You get paid big bucks to be wrong about everything.

      LOL ! On a related note, I saw where DHS is hiring private bus companies to line the parade route for extra security. I had to laugh at that because in NYC they hire cement trucks to line the streets around the UN when they’re in session or whatever building Obama’s in fundraising.
