Do You Know This Asshole?

Asshole001

Do you recognize the asshole holding the Confederate flag in the picture above? I am trying to find out who he is.

Asshole002

I have combed thru hundreds of pictures from yesterday’s Million Vet March and this asshole shows up in just a handful of them, all of them taken in front of the White House. In each of the pictures he appears to be alone and he’s waving the Confederate flag as well as a Marine Corps flag. Who is he?

He is the ONLY person in any of the hundreds of of pictures I have reviewed that is holding a Confederate flag. I don’t know how many people attended the protests in Washington D.C. yesterday but this one asshole has succeeded in discrediting thousands of good, decent people.

The question is whether this asshole is an ignorant racist redneck or a Vile Prog plant. Either way he’s still an asshole.

  1. Lulu says:

No I don’t know who he is. But he has on brand new duds including the boots. A redneck would not wear brand new, unbroken-in boots or jeans to an all day protest. They would not be comfortable (especially the boots) and they might get torn or scuffed up. He also looks too ill-fed to be an ex-marine as he has no shall we say muscles. He looks like a vegan or meth-head (no insult meant to vegans but they are usually very skinny). Also the facial hair is wrong for a red neck as it is too much like the Guy Fawkes mask favored by OWS (look at the growth on the dude to our right as good example of a red neck beard). The flag is brand new too as is his lil trucker hat. I think he is an asshole plant too especially since the Obamamedia has gone bananas over his dickishness. This is a costume to this moron.

    • driguana says:

Agree with you! This is a set up. I’ve been around a lot of good ole boys…and he ain’t one of them!

      • Lulu says:

My husband says he wears his hat too high. It is supposed to be crammed down on the head for sun protection to the eyes and so it won’t “blow off”. He also said those are very expensive brand of boot (Frye) and not work boots but the type favored by hipsters. The retail I just looked up is $650.

        • kanaughty says:

his pants and especially his boots look brand new. i have lived in texarkana and now new orleans, so i know what a red neck should look like.

let’s just say he should be in wranglers that are tight, worn, and has a warn back pocket from a wallet and or chew.

and his boots should be dirty or beat up. his hat is too high. from the real rednecks i have met and know, this guy is a plant sent there to ruin it for everyone. what an asshole….

        • kanaughty says:

that’s right, actually the guy next to him, sitting is more like a real red neck look. a real big beard, the hat low, etc…

        • Boss Moss says:

Lulu. Do you have some linkage to those $650 Frye Boots?

        • foxyladi14 says:

I vote plant too Mcnorman. :)

    • Somebody says:

I agree with the rest of you he appears to be a plant. Just look at his stance how many true rednecks stand like that? His stance screams hipster/OWS. Another thing zoom in on his hands in the photo holding the two flags, those are NOT the hands of a good ole boy redneck. The rest of you are spot on with the beard.

Of course I have no real idea, because I don’t know who he is. My only reference is the fact that I was southern born and raised.

    • donald says:

that person you’re calling a****** is my friend so what’s your problem before you jump to conclusions with the media and all this s*** should probably talk to this man so all you people calling him a****** go f*** yourself oh yeah and if you like to know what I look like I’m the guy next to him on the very last picture so. and if you want me to call me a racist talk to my wife so she can call you white trash or cracker un f*** yourself people
his grandfather spot the Civil War he was just trying to honor them so f*** you

    • donald says:

      I know him

    • pnut says:

Actually I know this guy personally. Btw once a marine always a marine, this man was in the mariens and trust me he is not a vegan, so why dont you quit judging a book buy its cover and learn your facts because honestly you sound like a jackass, you obviously dont know anything so until you know your facts shut up.

  2. driguana says:

Awesome that you posted this….it’s the way to bring out some of this viral lying that takes place so often among vile progs. I’ve reposted it on several sites and suggest that others do as well. It would be really great to find a credible ID on this person and turn the tide…although the vile prog media wouldn’t blink, of course…

    • Lulu says:

No but they would drop it. Notice that no one is talking to him either. He is just posing. The whole Vile Prog screaming simultaneously is a tell that it is an orchestrated Journo-list operation.

  3. lildoggy4u says:

Being from the south I can say there are a few more of these types around. They actually just don’t know what the hell that flag means to many of us yet display it on their trucks or hang it as a drape in their front window. Of course, he may not be from the south, just a jerk who craves attention. And a loser.

    • Lulu says:

Agree on the idiots who don’t understand the flag. How many of them travel to DC with all new clothes and pose with a marine corp flag (which he obviously is not as this specimen could not pass the physical). I smell a OFA or OWS rat.

    • 1539days says:

Also, those flags are HUGE. Everyone else has small American flags or at least reasonably sized flags. It also looks like he’s letting those flags touch the ground.

Did the media take any of those pictures? They would have to secure permission in some cases.

      • Lulu says:

The flags enormous size are for easy identification in the group for photographers. Both are brand new flags as can be seen in the photos. They still have the sharp fold marks. The dude looks a little tired holding those huge things up.

    • wmcb says:

There do in truth exist people who display the confederate flag who are not, in fact, racists. They’re just stupid and wrong.

There’s a small subset in the south and elsewhere who wish to “reclaim the true meaning of” that flag. Or just use it to thumb their nose at the PC elitist east coasters, a means of saying “Yeah I’m a gun-toting beer-drinking country boy and I could give a shit what you think.” There are a few (though not all) in that first group who actually are closet racists. Most in the second group aren’t actually racists at all. Their attitude is akin to the women who do “slut-walks” – it’s a means of rubbing the nose in the very thing they are sick of being accused of. The flag to them is a generic symbol of FUCK YOU rebellion against all the constant sneering at their region, their lifestyle, their culture.

All that to point out that while displaying it is stupid, counterproductive, and yes, the symbol itself is rightly seen as racist – not everyone who does so is a racist in fact. Some are just stubborn short-sighted idiots.

  4. so what would it take to figure out who he is? What are the tools we would need to get to the bottom of it? Whether he’s a plant or not (and it would be just juicy if he were) he needs to be singled out….

Does anyone here know anyone who might have the wherewithall to snuff this out? What about Larry over at NoQuarter? Bet he knows enough folks with the skills to figure it out….

    • Lulu says:

That is a great idea. Also Breitbart since they infiltrated and photographed OWS extensively. I bet skinny dude with brand new duds and flags is OWS or OFA. And he seems to be alone like he did not come with a group like the rest of them.

    • jeffhas says:

Doesn’t Facebook have facial recognition for photo postings?… If people post these to Facebook, won’t there be a likely hit at some point??…

      • Ann says:

GooglePlus has face recognition. And it automatically tags photos if someone has a profile photo that matches.

    • The Klown says:

Crowdsource it. If enough people post his pictures on FB and twitter, somebody will recognize him.

    • Constance says:

The fact that no media tried to interview him but are pushing his picture with their own narrative that attempts to discredit legitimate protesters in a coordinated manner is enough for me. I do think this probably scared the assholes though.

  5. DeniseVB says:

From the Daily Caller, mostly pointing out the hypocrisy of the stupid media …

    http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/13/liberals-on-twitter-one-idiot-with-confederate-flag-at-tea-party-rally-gop-is-racist/

Funny how obsessed the media was with the flag they never talked to the guy ? He didn’t march to any of the memorials, just magically appeared in front of the WH ? Wouldn’t that spark their journo interests in finding out what his story was?

  6. DeniseVB says:

Did a quick search through the vet march hashtag and only one mention that this was a “neo-confederate” group that just showed up at the WH with a bunch of photographers (lefty bloggers?).

    • Lulu says:

They brought their own photographers? All neo-confederates hillbillies travel with their own professional photographers don’t you know. LOL.

    • Lulu says:

Funny that neo-confederates don’t call themselves that. Only political activitsts and academics use that term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Confederate

    • kanaughty says:

neo-confederate? wow. i haven’t met any of these supposed folks having lived down here for the last 4 years, nor in middle virginia for 2 years… this is totally a media story made up out of thin air. i really can’t stand our propoganda media for the last few years. anything to make the dems and ob look like heroes and it is totally sickening.

    • Constance says:

They brought photographers?! I think Gretta or Kelly or O’Reilly or Hannity would cover this fake redneck idea.

  7. Does his T-Shirt say “Special”? As in special little snowflake?
God my eyes are getting old.

    • BenStone says:

His shirt is from a company called “Southern Thread” in Austin, Texas. His boots are brand new and the jeans look pretty new too. I suspect he is an astroturf from the liberal city of Austin sent to do this.

      • kanaughty says:

i have to say, his t-shirt looks really new too. that red should have faded and even shrunk by now if it were not a new shirt. this dude is totally ridiculously obvious. the red necks i have met would be wearing a tourist t-shirt (perhaps even from washington dc since they are visiting it that day), a college (LSU, bama) or pro team t-shirt, nascar (classic car or harley motorcycle) t-shirt, duck dynasty t-shirt, a military t-shirt, a mass market walmart carried t-shirt, or carhartt or other work wear t-shirt, not some brand name from a specific town of austin, tx… this dude totally got it wrong….

        • Lulu says:

Austin sent some ringers to something recently and had to apologize for it. I think it was a woman who drove to Houston and the non-profit she works for had to say they didn’t know she was doing it (ha!). I think she masqueraded as a counter Trayvon protestor with racist signs. That too was splashed all over the media as racist Houstonians when she was an asshole plant from Austin. And yes he looks like a vegan hipster from Austin in in dress up redneck new clothes which are all expensive stuff. One of the funny things about Austin is that it has a huge bluecollar population and their residential areas are called Bubbavilles by the nasty hipsters and vile prog academics.

        • Constance says:

You would think a fake red neck plant would have the common sense to buy his costume at Goodwill or Value Village so it would be broken in and look authentic. Besides that is where all normal people buy costumes.

  8. DeniseVB says:
  9. The Klown says:

Why didn’t any of the media talk to him and ask him why he was waving those flags? If they did, why didn’t they report it?

  10. mothy67 says:

Skin is too even for meth so I’d go with vegan. Came alone and didn’t speak to any reporters? Yet “posed”. Doesn’t appear enraged. Funny every time a muslim commits a terrorist act the media goes out of its way to say this is not typical of the group. Yet ONE moron from hundreds of patriotic meetings and they pounce on it. No one from FOX nearby? Plant.

  11. mothy67 says:

Forget the guy with the flags I want the two guys smoking on either side of him in the first picture arrested, deported and forced to watch the View

  12. The Klown says:

    Ho Lee Phuc!

Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on EBT cards even though they were not showing limits.

The chaos that followed ultimately required intervention from local police, and left behind numerous carts filled to overflowing, apparently abandoned when the glitch-spurred shopping frenzy ended.

Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd confirms they were called in to help the employees at Walmart because there were so many people clearing off the shelves. He says Walmart was so packed, “It was worse than any black Friday” that he’s ever seen.

Lynd explained the cards weren’t showing limits and they called corporate Walmart, whose spokesman said to let the people use the cards anyway. From 7 to 9 p.m., people were loading up their carts, but when the cards began showing limits again around 9, one woman was detained because she rang up a bill of $700.00 and only had .49 on her card. She was held by police until corporate Walmart said they wouldn’t press charges if she left the food.

Lynd says at 9 p.m., when the cards came back online and it was announced over the loud speaker, people just left their carts full of food in the aisles and left.

“Just about everything is gone, I’ve never seen it in that condition,” said Mansfield Walmart customer Anthony Fuller.

    • mothy67 says:

Can the cashier see the balance on a card? Thought they were like debit cards. Can see Walmart writing off the loss when problems began with the cards like the shop owners did in NYC during the blackout. Cheaper than having the stores destroyed.

      • Sue says:

Yes, the cashier gets a balance for both food and cash accounts on the card, normally. Most receipts also print it out for the customer, so all they have to do is look at their last receipt and they know what’s left. These people knew what they were doing; it’s called stealing.

Our Veterans must have really hit a nerve yesterday

bill press attacks vets as idiots and says Ted Cruz should have been hanged in effigy at memorial.

Well bill since you and the dems think the owies that shit in the streets are so wonderful and illegal aliens that break the law sneaking into this country and then demanding citizenship are just great, I would say you have your priorities screwed up

  15. The Klown says:

I should front-page this nonsense but I don’t feel good this morning.

    • DeniseVB says:

I saw the spike in hits today, looks like a you’ve been posted @ Legal Insurrection and Ace picked it up. Saw this hot linked on the Ace site’s right column ….

      Feel better !

    • Falstaff says:

Notice how he pronoounces “Non-Tea-Party Republicans” as “Nazi Party Republicans”? Sweet.

      • Lulu says:

You would think they would be ashamed to project like an eight year old. It is so unsophisticated and crude. It reveals their emotional IQ.

  16. helenk3 says:

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/10/ted-cruz-isnt-the-problem-with-the-republican-party-hes-the-solution/

the younger republicans are scaring the hell out of the old guard. If the republican party wants to be relevant they should listen to and work with the younger republicans.
the old guard has been in DC so long that they have lost touch with the citizens of this country. This is the best time there has been in years for the party to win as the dems have sold out the country

  17. DeniseVB says:

    Found the LI tweet:

  18. Constance says:

Last night two of my local news channels had film coverage of the veterans march that impressed me. They both showed veterans pulling down the barrycades and hauling them to the White House and dumping them on the ground there in a manner that showed complete contempt of the government particularly Obama. I was going to post it here but I can’t find it anywhere. I saw it on the KONG news at 10pm (which is a sister channel of NBCs KING) and on the KIRO(CBS) news at 11pm.

  19. wmcb says:

The hip-cocked pose in the last photo is not a good-ole-boy stance. At all. I spent my whole life around good ole boys. Hard to tell without video, but the body language looks wrong.

He might be just a prick who happens to be conservative, but I’d like to know who he is. He showed up solely at the WH (not the earlier memorials) complete with photographers in tow, then disappeared? And no one of the many groups there came with him? Smells funny.

    • Somebody says:

WMCB…..GMTA, that stance in the picture up against the fence is NOT a redneck stance, unless his nickname is Sally! Also, if you zoom in on the middle picture with him standing holding the two flags his hands are NOT the hands of a redneck. Those hands have never hunted, fished, worked on a car or done anything in the way of manual labor.

  20. Constance says:

Where were the conservative media? You would think they would have smelled a rat and interviewed him. Maybe he was just there for 5 minutes and they didn’t notice the guy.

  21. so all of us should keep posing the question of that guy’s identity all over the internet. At some point someone will figure it out and out the guy….

  22. christy123 says:

No way the party of the birth certificate could have racists driving the movement.

    impossible!!!!!!

  23. Somebody says:

This evening I’ll call my daughter and have her take a look at the guy. There was an OFA guy that lived above her when she was attending UA, so she saw lots of obots coming and going from there. If she happens to recognize him that will give us a clear direction but that angle is most likely a needle in a haystack.

  24. DandyTIger says:

Placing bets. Once he’s tracked down and identified as an OFA plant, you’ll never hear about it in the media.

  25. The Klown says:

Today is a holiday. It’s “Native American Genocide Day”. This is the holiday when we mourn the start of the European invasion in 1492.

  26. Falstaff says:

Apparently, the guy is named Michael Ashmore, and he’s an ex-Marine from Texas:

    https://www.facebook.com/michael.ashmore.31

Looks legit, unless someone went to the trouble of putting up a fake FB profile

    • Falstaff—you’re the bomb!!

    • The Klown says:

      How did you find him?

      • Falstaff says:

Getty images, which handles the Washington Post photos. The caption identified him, and FB seems to back it up.

        http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/michael-ashmore-of-hooks-texas-leans-against-the-white-news-photo/184438302

Looks like all the amateur sleuthing and talk on this thread about an Obot conspiracy didn’t quite get it right.

      • kanaughty says:

the guy grew up like 10 miles from where i lived in texarkana, the clothes he was wearing that day still does not match the red necks that i know/knew/met from that 4 state area. i still think this was a pr stunt and he was paid to carry that brand new flag.

some people do display this flag down in the south (arkansas, louisiana, texas) on their front license plate frames for instance, but it is mostly meant as a symbol of rebellion and not always what the left sees of it as just being racist symbol.

and i don’t deny that their are ignorant racists down here. but i think the media ceases or paid this one person to ruin a whole complete veterans march.

        • The Klown says:

I’m kinda curious what a guy who lives and works in Texas was doing in Washington DC yesterday. Did he go there just for the protest? Was he with a group?

Was he born an asshole or did he grow that way?

        • Lulu says:

I found some stuff on his family but will not divulge. Kind of scary really but not on him specifically. I may even feel sorry for him. Nah. Like you said he is still an asshole.

    • Constance says:

So he should be available for interview.

    • Monty says:

That facebook profile looks as fake as can be. Let’s start with the fact that the profile picture is one from that day- not something earlier- just a little suspicious, no? Then you go down the list, and there isn’t one thing that doesn’t seem like it wasn’t chosen to fit the imaginary profile of a ‘Redneck Marine from Texas’- not ONE.

I call B.S. Somebody friend him. (I don’t do facebook, sorry)

  27. helenk3 says:

    just a thought

when the laid off federal workers go back to work and get backpay, do they realize that the taxes taken out will be much higher if they get it all in one check?

  28. The Klown says:

    WTF?

Federal officials considered only one firm to design the Obamacare health insurance exchange website that has performed abysmally since its Oct. 1 debut.

Rather than open the contracting process to a competitive public solicitation with multiple bidders, officials in the Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid accepted a sole bidder, CGI Federal, the U.S. subsidiary of a Canadian company with an uneven record of IT pricing and contract performance.

CMS officials are tight-lipped about why CGI was chosen or how it happened. They also refuse to say if other firms competed with CGI, or if there was ever a public solicitation for building Healthcare.gov, the backbone of Obamacare’s problem-plagued web portal.

Instead, it appears they used what amounts to a federal procurement system loophole to award the work to the Canadian firm.

Silicon Valley pimped for Obama in two elections and he rewards them by offshoring a major software contract to Canuckistan?

  29. The Klown says:
  30. Constance says:

Apparently Fox’s Greta was at the Veterans protest yesterday and her show tonight will cover it. She is on at 4pm or 7pm eastern. I’ll set the TIVO. But she has a great website and so I’m sure you can get the info there easily.

  32. helenk3 says:

    http://weaselzippers.us/2013/10/14/pic-obama-regime-reinstalls-barrycades-around-wwii-memorial/

backtrack’s brown shirt brigade replace barrycades around WW2 memorial.

guess we will have to protest weekly to get the point across

    • mothy67 says:

Media will continue the spin. I think it needs to be done like the Tea Party itself, on a local level

    • Constance says:

I think it would be best to protest during the week. Most of the “news” channels run alternate programming or the same three programs over and over all weekend. Maybe a protest that went into night and had some burn barrels would be good, they always film well and the fire draws people in, it’s sort of a primal thing.

  33. wmcb says:

Nothing on his page at all about him being involved with Teaparty in any way shape or form. He follows ZERO conservative sites or activists. He posts nothing at all about political activism in any way. It’s mostly lame posturing selfies.

So yeah, even if for real, is a lone nutjob. Tell me again how he’s “representative” of everyone there yesterday?

    • buckeyedad says:

It wasn’t even a “Tea Party” event, is was a US Vets event. Yet the MSM made it about the Tea Party. This goes deeper than just ‘divide and conquer’, they’re gearing people up for serious persecution of conservatives/Tea Party/Constitutionalists. They (yes, I consider most the MSM as merely an arm of the regime) want their opposition destroyed.

      Period.

      • The Klown says:

They also claimed it was a protest against the shutdown when it was a protest against the barrycades around our national monuments and memorials.

  34. mothy67 says:

Still believe the guy was a plant. He seems pretty sedate for someone that was supposed to be bigotry incarnate. Surely he would have vented to any reporter that would have given him the time of day. And Facebook well we all know the administration has no ties to that organization. maybe he’s just a composite.

  35. elliesmom says:

I did my bit. I put this homepage on every laptop screen at the local Best Buy while Elliesdad was shopping. The store clerks thought it was so funny they left them up at least until after I left. One of the guys asked me if it was “the new milk carton”.

  36. Mike says:

Why are you all so faint and outraged over the Confederate flag? Is this a liberal democrat party website? Especially amused by non-southern fools excoriating those “who don’t understand what it means to them”. You Yankee bigots have no connection whatsoever to that flag, so no, you don’t get to pretend how enlightened and superior you are for having the most dramatic overreaction to the sight of it. The only asshhole here is the one pretending how offended he\she is. On behalf of the flag of the C.S.E, kiss my ass.

    • wmcb says:

Can your own righteous indignation, Mike. I’m southern born and bred. And I understand how it’s used there – and yes, it’s mostly not used to champion racism. Many of us have pointed that out.

But taking it to wave in front of the White House is a dick move, period.

  37. waustin says:

Michael Ashmore from Hooks, TX. Veteran. Still an Asshole.

  38. waustin says:

Michael Ashmore of Hooks, TX. Veteran but still an asshole.

  39. BAD says:

Hey yankee if you dont like it you can kiss all of our asses. Plus if your just looking for a good ol ass whipping just come on down here to GODS COUNTRY ( the south ) and open your big ass mouth to any Good ol Boy and your wish will come true. Now lets just see if your brave enough to back up your words. Come on down ASS WIPE we are waiting …

  40. Marc says:

Bunch of hypocrite,All for Vets access when it allows your politicians to make a headline, but when a REAL Vet shows up you tear him down without even knowing him. You all should be ashamed.

  41. randphill says:

I’m not certain what your issue was with him. Perhaps he was simply a proud Southerner. Contrary to the bull the NAACP has been feeding us fot year, there was more to the southern cause than slavery and racism and there is certainly more to southern culture. Forget the flags. Having pale skin is a definite racist marker on capital hill. Had you considered that he might have been signaling barry that the south may rise again as a result of his tyranny? Now, you may be right. He may be aplant or even a true racist bigot. But before you go jumping to that conclusion, you might consider the alteratives.r

  42. pnut says:

I do know who this guy is i know him personally.we have hung out when he was in the marines

  43. Poeticheart says:

I went to school with him. Yes he is from the South, small little country town. He has served in the Marines. I love how people LOVE to assume things about other people they don’t even know based off their looks.

  44. M says:

Liberal Plant, they do it at all of the tea party rallies. They say racist remarks to make it look like the tea party is racist,it happens every time.
