As the OBL shoot & dump poll bounce fades, the President tries to get another bounce with another historic address where he again reminds everyone that he got Bin Laden. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, he got Bin Laden. He’s telling the middle east that too, in case they hadn’t heard.
The President was also expected to try to claim credit for the “arab spring” ushering in democracy, but unfortunately, OBL sneakily managed to steal some of his thunder with his posthumous tapes saying that the arab spring is great because it is the ME throwing of the shackles of the USA or something. Poor President, he will be reduced to promising a lot of cash to the emerging democracies instead. Raiding Social Security & Medicare should provide enough billions to buy Middle East goodwill.
