He’s not a protester, he’s a bum! Part II

I thought this deserved separate attention. NY Post:

Organizers took other steps to police the squatters, who they said were lured in from other parks with the promise of free meals.

A team of 10 security volunteers moved in to the trouble-prone southwest section of Zuccotti Park in a show of force to confront them.

“We’re not going to let some members of this community destroy the whole movement,” a volunteer said.

Some arguments broke out as the security team searched tents — but no violence erupted.

Overall security at the park had deteriorated to the point where many frightened female protesters had abandoned the increasingly out-of-control occupation, security- team members said.

Rumors swirled that one homeless man had pulled a knife in a dispute the night before — and that there had been yet another case of groping.

But protesters and a cop on duty told The Post that most of the crime goes unreported, because of a bizarre “stop snitching” rule.

Searching tents? Did they have a warrant? I know at least one witness said if you try to bring alcohol into Zuccotti Park the security force will confiscate it. Where I live that would be called “stealing.”

Let me guess – are her initials RD?

    Cult rules.

The sad thing about it is they are training a whole bunch of crime victims to distrust the police. That is effed up, and is generally for the protection of male mayhem-creators. I’ve read THREE stories of rape at occupied events just this week. What’s happening with regard to that and police relations is appalling.

Street gang rule, too. New Jack Tent City.

Good for them! I hope all the women involved put their safety and self preservation first. It’s depressing how easy it is for many women to be sucked in by concepts like “freedom” and “idealism,” sucked in to the point where they feel like they have to sacrifice their own safety for the “common good.” That’s a bunch of crap.

  4. HELENK says:

but but but that is public land and belongs to everyone. Aren’t the homeless part of the public?
If it were not for the fact that people are going to get hurt, by the actions of this bunch , it would be funny
I guess some are more public than others, omg has ows become the 1%

    • yttik says:

In all fairness, the homeless were there first. The occupiers are in their territory. As far as the homeless are concerned, the 1% just moved into their neighborhood, LOL!

Don’t need no stinkin warrants in the One World Society. All your tentz & propertiez are belong to us. Now do da laundry, beeyotch.

Check out the comments. The response to the serious question of wtf is going with the Occupying movements and rapes? “I smell a rat!” “It goes on in tents all summer long.”

So it’s Beckestanis doing it, or it happens all the time and that’s why it’s okay.

WTF is wrong with people today? Grrrr.

    • Lola-at-Large says:

Wholly crap! People HEARD her being gang-raped and did nothing. WOW.

    • WMCB says:

I loved this bullshit in one comment:

Rape happens because the men don’t think very highly of themselves. The real crime is that the rapist takes the woman down to his level, where he is feeling. Demeaned and Insignificant. Powerless. Rape is an act of powerlessness. A cry for help. They dont feel power within so they seek power over another person. THE STRONGEST women are the ones who have the strength to tell the rapist, “I love you”. By doing so she keeps herself from being brought down to his level.

Pity the poor rapists, who are crying for help and understanding. That’s the real crime – the poor poor menz.

Oh, and dudebro douchewanker commenter? I never plan to tell a rapist I love him. I plan to blow a fucking hole in the worthless animal and say good riddance to the world. My daughter turns 21 next month and can’t wait to get tested and certified for her concealed carry license as well.

      • Lola-at-Large says:

Good for your daughter. We’ll be arming my daughter as soon as we can. Dead men don’t rape.

      • soupcity says:

        WTF? Love thy rapist.

        • WMCB says:

The girlfriend who took my daughter to the range and taught her to shoot made her go in a tight skirt and 3″ heels and jewelry. When dd questioned this, the woman told her: “The one time you will need a gun to defend yourself isn’t likely to be hanging out in sneakers and sweats all ready to shoot. It’s going to be on a dark street trying to get back to your car from a club. Learn to shoot dressed like that.”

        • parentofed says:

My daughter has learned to shoot and intends to get her concealed carry. Practicing in heels and skirt hadn’t occurred to me. Thanks for the tip.

If you don’t love rapists, you’re a republican, racist, ratfucker. And don’t you forget it. /snark

      • Jadzia says:

Good for you. That sounds like a more realistic plan than my husband’s recently proposed “no dating until menopause” rule. (“Honey, she’s 16 months old!!!” “I don’t care.”)

        • votermom says:

We are a non-gun household but I had both girls taking karate. The older one quit just before black belt test but the younger one competes for medals. I’m hoping to get them both into other forms of self-defense also. Girls need to learn not to pull punches.

OTOH the older one’s bff is from a very nice die-hard NRA family so she may get influenced that way anyway.

  13. DeniseVB says:

The Richmond (VA) Tea Party is billing the City of Richmond for the $10,000 in permit fees they paid for 3 rallies held in the same area OccupyRichmond is squatting.

I think that’s fair. I think every law abiding protest group should be given refunds for permit fees.

  14. HELENK says:

uppity is starting a “sponsor a protester” drive.

I’ll be in really-chilly NYC next month and would like to drop by OWS with a donation.

      Should I bring:

      1. Canned beans, non-ve*gan, they’ll need the protein, gas and warmth.

      2. A box of tea bags, it will be cold and flu season 😉 Assuming they have hot water?

      3. Sani-wipes

      4. No cash. Don’t know where that’s going to.

      5. Since they already have a Runaway Mom, are they ready for a Runaway Grandma ? Nah, I’ll be OccupyingMidtownHotel 😉 Sorry kids, I’m not STUPID.
