NFL Playoffs Divisional Weekend

New Orleans at

Denver at
New England

Today is Divisional Saturday. The early game will be Saints and Niners in San Francisco. With any luck New Orleans will do Raider fans a huge favor and send the Forty-Whiners out of the playoffs.

This evening game will feature Tim Tebow vs. Tom Terrific. If Tebow wins I gotta go to church tomorrow.

Today’s winners will face tomorrow’s winners next weekend. The winners of those games go to the Super Bowl.

If you don’t like football, SyFy Channel is running a Firefly marathon. What are you up to today?

What am I doing today? Pretty much watching the snow come down and hoping I can drive this afternoon. I also have a head ache.

  2. SHV says:

Watching Olympic Marathon trials on NBC. Wife runs in the Houston Marathon Sunday.

  3. 1539days says:

I don’t like football or Firefly. I guess I’ll just go watch the Rocky 3 DVD I Netflixed.

  4. HELENK says:

may all the fans get the good games they wish for.

  5. DandyTiger says:

I’m manipulating OWS efforts for DHS. That and drinking beer and watching football. And when I can see straight, doing delicate engineering for the military industrial complex.

  6. Three Wickets says:

I really ought to follow football season more closely. I know about all the Broncos drama, but what the hell are the Texans doing in the playoffs. Both games today look like fun match-ups.

  7. Lola-at-Large says:

Tebow! Tebow! Tebow! I’ve caught the mania since poor Payton has been out this season.

I don’t really care about his religious beliefs but I like different and unusual characters.

ex.: Guys that do everything wrong but win anyway.

      • Lola-at-Large says:

He is that. Just different. Not your grandfather’s quarterback.

        • angienc says:

Yeah, grandfather’s quarterback could you know, throw the ball. πŸ™‚

I caught the Tebow fever myself (considering I don’t watch football) just because I liked how he pissed off so many on the left.

  8. Three Wickets says:

Drew Brees is a hard working quarterback.

  9. DandyTiger says:

    Happy birthday Muhammad Ali.

  10. honora says:

OMG— Baltimore rooting for a Haubaugh Bowl!!!

  11. Lola-at-Large says:

Holy crap, that was a fantastic ending to the 49ers/Saints game. Saints defeated. 3 touchdowns scored in last 5 minutes.

NE 14 DEN 0. Still first quarter.

  14. Three Wickets says:

The Broncos have a very strong offensive line.

    • Too bad you can’t tell it tonight. They need better coaching in this game. The fake outs are NOT working. STOP calling those plays, dufuses.

      • Three Wickets says:

Brady is too good. I’m not going to watch the second half. If Tebow has another miracle come-back in him, I’ll find out about it tomorrow.

  15. DeniseVB says:

“Hi, I’m Miss New York and I’m here to Occupy the Miss America stage”, and she just made the 15 semi-finalists.

Looks like the blue and swing states are making it too.

Gack, it’s Toddlers and Tiaras all grown up tonight.

  16. votermom says:

I just saw a teaser for MO going on iCarly (nickolodeon). Ugh.

  17. myiq2xu says:

Looks like I won’t be going to church tomorrow.

  18. angienc says:

Was there a game on or something?
