"Four more years and they'll be ready for Jeb"

Obama hosts the Bushes at White House

Former President George H. W. Bush and his son Jeb made an unannounced visit to the White House on Friday, meeting in the Oval Office with President Obama.

The White House released a photo of the meeting via Twitter Friday evening, with the elder Bush shown sitting in a wheelchair. The former president and the former Florida governor were in Washington for the annual Alfalfa dinner, an exclusive black-tie event. The meeting had not been on the president’s official schedule.

You know how it is – when relatives drop by unexpectedly you have to make time for them.

“We’re going to talk about our own little Captain Schettino…..Reince Priebus, the Republican National Committee chairman, called President Obama a “Captain Schettino” for going on the campaign trail.

I don’t speak Italian but did Priebus just imply that the president is Captain Little Shit?

HA! Making time for family, indeed. I have no idea what the Bush/Jeb visit was all about, but it would be irresponsible not to speculate.

It would be interesting if Obama threw out Biden and gave Jeb the VP job.

What was really amazing was the intense and massive OWS demonstration at the White House over the Obama and Bush family meeting. Oh wait…

Thank you, Rick and Karen Santorum, for living the Christ-like example of sacrifice and right priorities. Nothing is more precious or important than the life of an innocent child. Our prayers are with Bella, a perfect child in an imperfect world.

God bless the beautiful Santorum family.

If mittens gets the nomination I would be ecstatic if Sarah/Newt/Trump/Bachman/Cain/Santorem/Perry and even Paul went all in third party. yes even Paul — Sarah has given him props all along so i think he might find endorsing some combination better than mittens. Imagine all of the Tea Party backed candidates from 2010 endorsing that alliance to not do so would be at their peril. mittens represents nothing for which they stand.
Funny that media diminishes her at every turn and flat out has called her irrelevant. I live in a blue collar town and have a bar. People are still talking about Sarah and it is not in a bad way. i am intrigued by the woman. Seems she is saying fuck you to the establishment without saying it.

It wouldn’t be like Conservatives splitting their vote as much as Establishment Republicans (Obama & Romney) splitting theirs, and Team Sarah could win. Fun to think about. 🙂 Anyway, back to work.

Kindergarten in Manhattan is more expensive than a year at Harvard. These are your Obama NYTimes creative class liberals. The ones who think they know what is best for America.

    • 1539days says:

Obviously, Harvard faculty make more than elementary teachers, but I bet if you divided the pay and benefits by the number of students they teach, the pay would be close.

      • Three Wickets says:

But these Manhattan schools have far less overhead than a university, no boarding. Where else would the tuition go besides salaries.

    • mothy67 says:

I had a friend years ago who got a job at one of those schools right out of college working in the admissions office. After his first few days he was summoned to the dean and given a stipend to buy some better clothes. Told me 20% of the kids were on scholarships and that it was those kids who made the school look good.

the dumbest investor on the planet would not lose as much money as these fools have lost. It is our money they are losing

the funny think was when I searched for ad about losing money, the first thing that came up was the 2012 SOTU speech
