    Happy Oscar Day.

Never understood the Razzies, they always seem to go to conservatives….Sarah got nominated for The Undefeated ?

99% of tinsel town backs obama and yet they have the most twisted accounting there is. Forest Gump made 329 million dollars domestically and the studio claimed to have lost money on it. Writer sued and won but it exposed the whole industry. In the end the bookkeeping didn’t change just the contracts.

Saw this little piece of trivia on the Oscar build up…..the lady who won an Oscar (1939), playing Mammy in Gone With The Wind, was the first black to even attend the Academy Awards, though still had to sit in the wayback seats far away from her film’s fellow colleagues. Where were the social justice Hollywood chest thumpers then ? Ok, ok, a different era, but still…..

It being Sunday morning Saintorum is probably visiting many of the First Self Righteous Churches in Michigan prior to their primary.

Hope you are feeling better myiq.

Now for something cheery this fine Sunday morning… a flash mob singing Do Re Mi in the Antwerp train station.

So sorry if it shows Obama at bottom of screen. Obama is using youtube to solicit donations. Yuck!!!

Californians know how to have a sex scandal.

Sex-tape stunner in Nadia Lockyer case

Bill Lockyer is the state treasurer and is the former attorney general. Nadia Lockyer is an Alameda County Supervisor. Her boyfriend is a construction worker from San Jose. This case has it all – drugs, violence and sex tapes.

    Well, this is disappointing….

I thought the SOS was supposed to be nonpartisan? Also, I can’t help but think of Laura Bush’s good advocacy work for the plight of Afghan women for the past several years.

I read this earlier, he also wants to get Jodie Foster out of his head as though he’s still blaming her. Sigh.

Funny, after the Tucson Massacre (Gabby wasn’t the only victim), I thought of Hinckley. He was immediately labeled a nutjob, but the Giffords’ assassin was labeled…….as a Sarah Palin influenced murderer ?

      I hate the media.

    • yttik says:

Ha! Don’t you just hate it when you try to shoot somebody and it goes and ruins your image? I mean, people start talking about you behind your back and everything!

Good point Denise, the media really shapes public perceptions.

  12. Three Wickets says:

Here’s Joan Walsh. Santorum’s JFK story makes me want to throw up

Rick Santorum teed off on a venerated former president Sunday morning for telling America that the separation of church and state was “absolute..” Was it the guy responsible for the above quote? No, that was Ronald Reagan, running for re-election in 1984 (h/t BB).

    • Three Wickets says:

      But JFK does say this..

    • 1539days says:

Frankly, JFK could have listened to his religious leaders a little more, given recent revelations. I tend to have a problem with the idea of not letting your faith “interfere” with your public policy. If you’re a Catholic, and you don’t believe in the tenets of the church, then it’s just dogma.

I thought there was a difference between what Reagan and Kennedy said. Kennedy was talking about keeping government money out of the church (no school vouchers, for examples) and not having your executive actions informed by faith. Reagan talked about how the church should not be dictated to by the government. I’m sure neither envisioned a day when the federal government would get involved in their insurance policies.

Hi, myiq, here in the Magical Kingdom we can only see YouTube videos with safe search enabled. Here is one with clowns, for some reason I thought of you, but I don’t know what is in it, because apparently clowns are too sensitive a subject for here. I hope you enjoy it, and peripherally, I hope posting it here enables me to bypass the nannyware so I can see it myself. Cheers.

  15. Dakota says:

Thanks, myiq, that worked out very nicely.
