I’ll buy it. Anyone know if it’s going to be available on Kindle? I’ll buy a hard copy and a digital copy, if so.
I just bought it on amazon. The book is “in stock.”
OK, I just bought it.
Anita says it will be available for the Kindle the same date as its official release.
I’ll get a Kindle copy as well, as soon as that’s available, then. 😀
How about the nook?
Anita Finlay is an outstanding writer, and this book is moving and informative. I believe it is going on pre-sale in early April at Amazon.
Excited to read this!
OT – the SCOTUS arguments today do not look good for Obamacare.
LOL! I do love iowahawk. The man is just witty, even when I disagree with him. 😀
LOL.
This will be interesting if it goes that way: The constitutional scholar makes an unconstitutional law as his main presidential accomplishment. What stupid thing will he do if he has a second term.
Sarah said something similar last night:

Obot heads are ‘sploding
Let me get some salt and vinegar for those Obot head wounds.
You never can tell with SCOTUS, so I’m not celebrating. But it does look like the challengers to the law argued very effectively today.
I hope that what for me is the crux of the matter – the precedent – becomes the big issue. What, if any, limits remain on federal power if it’s upheld? Because if the govt can’t argue logically some means of determining where those limits are (other than “Trust us, we would never…”) , and SCOTUS upholds it anyway, then you have said in effect that there ARE no limits. The only limits are the supposed goodwill of the current govt, and any legal and constitutional limits no longer exist.
They’d have been better off with single payer – TAXING to provide a govt service is indeed allowed.
Toobin is saying the liberal justices were doing a better job of arguing in favor of the mandate than the US Solicitor Gen Verelli?
I thought they were supposed to be impartial judges?
*headdesk*
I thought the SCOTUS appointment was for life to keep politics OUT of their decisions.
Just hope the fence sitters don’t find a horse’s head in their beds in the morning 😦
That book looks like a keeper. Thanks for the heads up.
I will probably buy the book but I likely won’t read it. No doubt I already lived what it said and I don’t need that pain again.
Send me your copy. It will save me the trouble of reading it at Barnes and Novel.
Ha, I thought I was the only one that did that. I’m a cheep ass and I like it that way. 🙂
I just tried to get it for my nook, Barnes and Noble does not seem to have it. I will keep trying I am not sure if a nook will take books from amazon.
Helen, the nook won’t take Amazon books, but you can also try Kobo books, they load very easily onto the nook.
I tweeted Uppity’s post to both the left of me and the right of me 😀 I think it’s an important book for all sides.
Excellent!
Bought it.
I am buying this book especially to have the cover pic. That is my all time favorite picture of my hero.
