Pelosi wants Hillary Clinton to run in 2016
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said this week she’d like to see Secretary of State Hillary Clinton run for president in 2016.
The California Democrat told PBS’s Charlie Rose she has “no knowledge” of Clinton’s intentions, but also left no mystery about her wishes to see Clinton on the presidential ballot four years from now.
“That would be so exciting,” Pelosi told Rose in an interview that aired Monday night. “Isn’t she a magnificent secretary of State?”
We all know someone who, when they want to do us a favor, we immediately put our hand on our wallets and grasp it firmly.
I hope Hillary runs in 2016. But she CANNOT trust anyone in the current Democratic leadership. She has stab wounds up and down her back from the last time.
Pelosi leaves me cold.

My F-A-N-T-A-S-Y (aside from the lotto) would be for SCOTUS to strike it down – the mandate AND the whole thing; Obama to be mortally wounded (that ruling should be devastating to him – I mean 2 years of NOTHING!!!!); Pelosi and Reid are deemed to have been horrible leaders and are thrown out of leadership rule…. Now if only Schumer were caught in bed with a dead boy… but I digress.

The purpose of Nancy’s statement is to make Clinton supporters feel warm and cozy and vote for O-suckbag.

The order of things should have been Hillary president first, Obama VP and runs second.
As it stands, there’s no way an old lady with cankles and sagging jaw can be president even if her name is Hillary. And that’s the way they like it.
My vote is for the failure of epic proportions to lose and for the Dems to learn their lesson about hiring an incompetent.

Don’t know if they’re capable of learning. To learn, one has to have some grounding in reality.
The way I think about this right now, especially in relation to the dismal cast of characters that the Republicans have put up to run against Obama, is…..who do the Democrats have to run? Time before it was Kerry….good grief! I’m not a big Clinton fan, either one of them, but if Hillary even gives the Democratic party the time of day after how they excoriated her, my opinion of them would come down even a notch farther.
I suspect HRClinton will view the Presidency both in 2012 and in 2016 as such a poisoned chalice that she will politely let others drink it down. She is discovering that she has better things to do, just as Gore discovered he had better things to do (than elective politics) after
2000.
Now . . . if Clinton were to run as the leader of a legitimate successor-party to the “Democrats” of today, and were to seek election on a No Bipartisanship/ No Compromise ” New Deal Restoration-Updation” Party, that would get a long look and many votes. But I doubt she will do that.
If Hillary hadn’t been cheated in 2008 she would be cruising to a second term right now and finishing her second term in 2016.
She’ll be 69 years old in four years. If she won she would be looking at working hard into her mid/late 70’s.
What’s not to love about that idea?
