I have a very bad feeling about holder appointed prosecutors on the national security leaks.
my first thought was it stops a special prosecutor and blocks any real investigation.

Thanks to the insane compliance costs of Dodd-Frank “reform”, 4 more small community banks failed this week. Conveniently, these little local banks will now be bought up by the mega-banks, for a song, with the help and assistance of the FDIC.

This is why I don’t go all bandwagony and salivate like an idiot every time the politicians trumpet: MORE REGULATION! Because in my observation, “more regulation” is, most of the time, merely a means to game the playing field for the politically connected and eliminate that pesky small competition.

Oh, and the Obama administration is already busily handing out waivers to the onerous requirements of Dodd-Frank for small banks in places like Chicago, who happen to be friends of the Dems.

Making it impossible to do business in this country unless you are in bed with the govt is not the result of not enough regulation. It is, in fact, the INTENDED FEATURE of our current regulatory structure.

Regulation is not inherently good or bad. Regulation is a tool. Nothing more. It can be used sensibly, or used as a political weapon. Guess which one we’ve been doing for years now?

The next time a politician gets all hot and bothered over how “We are going to REGULATE those greedy bastards!” you might want to take a long hard look at what they actually intend to do, before you dutifully pick up your pom poms and join the cheer squad.

Whoa! HBO’s BM tells the Owies to stop camping and start getting involved in the political process. He must read TCH 😉 We said the same thing last year, but were told we didn’t “get it” and to “wait for it”. I love being on the right side of a debate 😀 😀

No, no, you need to wait for it. Any minute now. It’s a revolution. They know exactly what they’re doing. You just don’t get it. LOL.

Seriously, OWS is the best street comedy routine ever. Andy Kaufman would be proud. Wait, that is what they were going for, right?

      • WMCB says:

ROTFL! The Andy Kaufman comparison is dead-on. Theater of the absurd, whose chief comedic value lies in demands to be taken seriously.

      • DeniseVB says:

Yep, Kaufman was the master of keeping us guessing. Is he serious? Mentally unstable? I couldn’t keep my eyes off him 😉 And this is so appropriate to the OWS message:
