it is sad that he was allowed to get away with this horrible abuse of young children for so long. So many had the chance to stop him and failed to do so. I wonder how they can look at themselves in the mirror

  3. myiq2xu says:

    He’ll die in prison

    • Lola-at-Large says:

As well he should. He’ll ironically be protected from prison rape the entire time because of his status as a pedophile. Not that I would wish rape on anybody, even child rapists, but it is ironic.

I don’t know, I’ve heard of people making it to 550 years old. /s

  4. Lola-at-Large says:

45 guilty, 3 not guilty. 20-someodd felonies. 244 years, FUCK YES! Justice is SERVED!

  5. myiq2xu says:

He was taken directly into custody. There he goes from the courthouse in handcuffs.

Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200

  6. leslie says:

Still there is the possibility of appeal and retrial with those poor young men having to retestify again. God I hope not.

  7. Lola-at-Large says:

I’m about in tears over here. I am witnessing child sex abuse victims being believed.

    • Yisheng Qingwa says:

Well, they ARE male… do you think they would have been believed if they had been female victims? I really doubt it.

    • Lola-at-Large says:

      Not guilty counts:

      VICTIM 2

Count 7: Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse
      Verdict: Not guilty.

      VICTIM 5

      Count 24: Indecent assault
      Verdict: Not guilty.

      VICTIM 6

      Count 28: Indecent assault
      Verdict: Not guilty.

There were multiple charges for each of the aforementioned victims.

From what they were saying on my local channel (Lancaster, PA), count 7 was the one where McQueary said he walked in on Sandusky raping a boy, but his testimony to the grand jury vs what he told other people was inconsistent, so that’s why that count came back not guilty. Don’t have info on the other ones.

I generally think justice was served, but the whole situation makes me sad. Did you realize that Jerry and Dottie Sandusky had 6 adopted children and a number of foster children (wiki doesn’t say how many). On top of that, they lived right next to a school and playground. Then of course is the coaching job and the charity. This sicko had so much access to kids, it’s just crazy.

        • Lola-at-Large says:

Oh yeah, I’m totally up to date on the details of this case. All his kids are adopted BOYS, most from the Second Mile program. And now you know why. It’s cruel maybe, but I honestly wonder if he ever consummated his marriage to Dottie.

        • Lola-at-Large says:

I want to know more about the McQueary angle and why they didn’t believe him. The men of Penn State have been after his ass since he first came forward when this story broke. Why? He seemed believable to me and having an adult witness is a good thing in a case like this. And he took a real risk. Why is he getting SO MUCH pushback? Is he the sacrificial lamb in this, or is there more to the story?

        • melisshka says:

Yeah, you do have to wonder about that. That woman is in an amazing amount of denial. Or maybe she’s not in denial at all and knew that she needed to protect her scumbag of a husband in order to maintain her lifestyle. I prefer to think the former, because if it’s the latter, she’s as bad as he is. Although women stay with really bad men all the time. Ugh, I just don’t know.

Prosecutors could not even get convictions on each charges they sought against Jerry Sandusky; what losers. Time to yank their law license to ever practice law anymore like they did to CNN-Nancy Grace. Now, maybe it’s time to hold up the prosecutors in the Sandusky case for their crimes in wasting our tax-dollars. Death penalty for the prosecution-teams, perhaps, because what they wrongfully did is clearly what they have done to Jerry. No victim had any credibility, imo, if it can be proven they each failed to call 911 to report the alleged-abuse-incidents within minutes of each alleged-abuse-scenario. Maybe each accuser needs a lengthy prison sentence too for their crimes in this trial. If a victim does not immediately notify police of an alleged crime at their first-opportunity, they then relinquish any and all rights to ever claim to be a victim of the alleged-crime in the future imo. The alleged-victims testified against Sandusky only because of their discomfort with being gay imo and cannot be trusted as truth-bearers because of such, imo.

    • Erin says:

The catholic priest case is very important because it holds someone in a position to do something about the abuser responsible, and not just the abuser. This decision may actually help change institutional behavior. The individuals who help cover up the crime by moving the abusers around are now on notice they too are criminals and can go to jail..

  11. sonrisa says:

but why are they taking 3 months to ssend him to jail?

    • Oswald says:

That’s typical. That gives both sides time to file post-verdict motion and for a sentencing report to be prepared. In this case it’s just a formality.

He’s already in custody. Does it matter where?

      • sonrisa says:

ah…. ok thanx. Having never been convicted of anything except speeding tickets, I didn’t know that

  12. Penn State,Pedophile Priest cleric enabler and Jehovah’s Witnesses molestation big news same week.
Jehovah’s Witnesses hit with $28 million sex abuse settlement Oakland,Calif.-Google it.

Many court documents and news events prove that Jehovah Witnesses require two witnesses when a child comes forward with allegations of molestation within the congregation.
It has also been shown that child molesters within the organization usually have not been identified to the congregation members or the public at large.
These people engage in a door to door ministry, possibly exposing children to pedophiles.
The Watchtower corporation has paid out millions in settlement money already.
