      I. Just.Can’t. Watch.

      • cj says:

I can’t either. Other than Morning Joe when I can’t sleep, I haven’t watched MSNBC or NBC since 08.

    • Mary says:

I’m reading elsewhere that Chris and his cohorts now think using the word “Chicago” is a racist dog whistle.

Can you believe that sh*t? Sheesh

      • elliesmom says:

As someone who has a close relationship with a dog, I can assure you that if I blow into a dog whistle, she hears it, but I don’t. IOW, If you can hear it, you’re the dog. Why would anyone send out a “secret racist code” to people when only the people you wouldn’t want to hear it are the ones who do?

      • kanaughty says:

i can’t wait for ob to not be president, so all these fake racism words will go away and we can go on using the english language again like it should be used and can be used. i am so tired of all the false definitions these kool aid drinkers keep giving each and every word.

The most bizarre moment of the night had to be when Tweety interrupted Andrea Mitchell’s interview of Condi Rice and demanded she ask Rice about birthers.

Juan Williams was nowhere to be seen last night. What a relief. FOX should stick with Joe Trippi & Kirstin Powers, add a few more reasonable voices and skip the confrontational sh*t completely.

  4. myiq2xu says:

    “Chicago” is now racist:

  5. DandyTiger says:

Below is a comment I just noticed from a typical Dem academic about Ann Romney’s speech. Notice the desperation. There’s a lot of hate there. Hate of women. Hate of success. What is wrong with these people?

“She looks like a Barbie doll, and she talks like someone from the 1950s. She has as much class as a pet dog”

  6. WMCB says:

The Obot media are completely losing their shit. It’s hilarious. 😀

    • Mary says:

They’re clearly in panic mode. Totally melting down.

True colors, and all that. Own petards. 🙂

  7. WMCB says:

The thing about toddler tantrums is that they are only effective if you allow them to be. At first they have the upper hand, as parents rush to placate the tantrum. Once the lightbulb goes off, and you stop being afraid of the stomping feet and wailing, the whole dynamic shifts and it becomes laughable. The thing is, that the kid doesn’t seem to comprehend when that shift has happened, and it gets funnier and funnier since they don’t comprehend that it’s not working anymore.

This is the perfect analogy for the drool bucket ZOMG RACIIIST!!! media anymore:

Thinking out loud to myself a bit here…on financial markets till Novembers. If things head south as in lower stock indices and treasury yields, investors may lean Obama (more easing) and consumers may tip to Romney. If stocks and treasury yields head higher, investors may lean Romney (tighter money) and consumers may tip to Obama. There are more consumers than investors, but investors may have bit more influence on media content. The partisan newsmedia on the other hand will probably be more profitable in the next term if the other guy wins, so at the corporate level they may end up neutralizing each other out. Net net, weaker financial markets help Romney more.. 🙂

    • DandyTiger says:

The other thing to think about is how boring Obama has become. There’s no excitement. He’s tired of the job already. So think about how dull and boring the next four years be if he’s reelected. He’d already stopped doing the job, he doesn’t care, and no one else does either. He will be the lamest lame duck president ever. Historic even. /s What will there be to cover, and what will happen to the media’s ratings. On the other hand, a fresh new president that replaces dear leader would be exciting. They could keep race baiting, they could talk about all the new stuff going on, they could talk about the exciting new recovering economy, etc. Big ratings.

LAPD motto: “Welcome to Los Angeles – We’ll treat you like a King”

  10. WMCB says:

One of the things that is hilarious to me is that the D’s are stuck in a time warp. Guess what? The “party of old decrepit white men and staid women” has young fresh-faced energetic Ryan, Palin, Martinez, Mia Love, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, that dynamic young Puerto Rican gov, Nikki Haley, etc.

The visible faces of the D’s are Pelosi, Biden, Schumer, etc. Yes, the party as a whole has more young and minorities, but not front and center and above all INFLUENTIAL.

The D’s don’t see it, because they still think of themselves as “the young reformers vs the old guard”. Visually, if you look, it’s almost the opposite. The boomers became what they most hated. They are “The Man” . And blind to it.

    • Mary says:

Heard Chuck Todd on Morning Joe this morning say the Democrats only WISH they had the kind of vibrant young diversity the Repubs are showing on stage this week.

True story. I liked to fell off the couch hearing him admit it. LOL

    • kanaughty says:

      great observation…! thumbs up!

yep, agreed. it is like a dichotomy. the dems talk the talk, but they don’t walk the walk.

if anyone in that party really wants to win in november, or find the path for the future of their own party, then they will notice this switch to the future of the republican party happening and actually schedule their up and comers for speeches too for the dnc. there has got to be some in the ranks of democrats who are real strong democrats who are panicking after seeing the republicans winning in finding their new talent and the democrats falling back on old bad habits.

there has got to be someone who wants the party to come back strong. I wonder who that person is and if they will emerge if/when ob fails. It is almost like the dems are in the woods and can’t find their way out because they refuse to take off their blind fold or use their flashlight. It is like a prideful thing or an entitled thing, that they think their party won’t die just because… but it takes work like everything else to keep your voters. it is really weird that the dems seem to want to fail or even kill their own party for the future. so why do they seem to be intentionally letting the party go to shambles.

i am convinced that if they don’t see this obviousness on the rnc stage, that they are looking towards their own future of their party, and realize they need to change too, then they have no integrity with their own message as the party of the people supposedly.

right now the dems look like the party of old school rich dynastic political families, not new blood.

they thought obama would change their brand of their party in the future for them, but the problem is they put all their eggs in one basket instead of diversifying looking for other new talent. what do they have once obama is out of office when it comes to the future of their party?

they don’t have anything but the big ego faces of nancy and harry. that is not much when it comes to this new century.

find the new dems and mentor them and let them grow in different offices, don’t just discover them and push them towards president right away. that was their big mistake. they thought one guy would prove they are the party of the younger generations, but they failed because the guy is more like a bad teacher that lectures us about everything, and doesn’t lead by example when he is playing golf all the time.

  11. votermom says:

I specially loved this bit of Paul Ryan’s speech btw.

“College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.”

OT. Check out who just started using Palin’s “status quo has to go” line (in a diff context)

Love this tweet from a black conservative
