Oh, yea! – I just got to take a telephone NBC/Wall Street Journal poll regarding the upcoming election. As a former Dem; ’08 Hillary supporter who voted McCain; and now registered Independent voting for Romney, I really do get some satisfaction in taking these calls and letting my thoughts be known. Candidate John Kerry famously went after Bush’s Iraq policy in blistering terms on the very day that 7 marines were killed in a car bomb. I cheered him for doing so. I also think Romney has every right to go after Obama’s failed Middle East policy the day after the embassy attacks. Again, I am being consistent here. Obama doesn’t get special treatment from me.

That said, I believe that Romney’s response and actions in the last 24 hours have been appropriate and timely. If he said nothing he would be criticized and the press would have pressed him for a response.
The fix is in as far as the press is concerned so Romney might as well just be himself and do what he feels he needs to do.
Personally I think he comes off as having a more Presidential demeanor than does Obama. It is BS to say Romney should have said nothing until after Hillary dragged Obama’s arse out to the Rose garden to read his cue cards before he took his dog and donkey show on the road to Vegas.

The Chick-fil-A in Fresno is located 2 blocks from my old apartment. It’s next door to where the Krispy Kreme used to be. Hooters is a couple blocks farther.
I lived in that apartment for three years. The KK opened 2 months before I moved out. CFA and Hooters opened after I left.

Actually, my breakfast was even better. I got a cheesesteak sub from Full ‘O Bull. It’s not a Philly cheesesteak. Local place in Fresno-Clovis.
It’s a big heap of chopped beef steak and cheese on a sub roll with onions and tomato. Extra cholesterol on the side. Mmmmmmmm!
