From down below……something that’s going around.

If Obama is elected for a second term just think of the mess he’ll inherit this time !!!

Mainstream media ignorance debated..by the media. There’s an oxymoron in there somewhere.

Seriously though, the whole thing is chilling. A free press is an important foundation in a democracy. It’s become really clear that we don’t have one anymore. We’re just a hair’s width away from state run TV.

My favorite part is how the token lefty (blonde) was *obviously* completely befuddled because she hadn’t brought the right talking points with her for the discussion.

I just finished reading NO Easy Day.
I did not see where any national security information was made public. Seems as if the SEAL that wrote the book took more care to NOT leak than the white house did. The politicians with their big mouths looking for their 15 minutes of fame told more than this book. The SEALS did their job like the brave men they are and did not need the 15 minutes of fame. I am forever grateful to them and thank them for what they do every day for this country.

I’m hearing a lot of noise that Hillary should resign over the disastrous middle east mess. If that keeps going, that means it will be in the news, and will still reflect on Obama. He might even push her out on purpose, to ensure her political career is over. Wonder how Bill would react if that happened.

    • angienc says:

Hey, someone has to take the blame for Obama — lord knows nothing is ever Obama’s fault.

But if it does happen & Bill doesn’t go all out against Obama (not just doesn’t campaign for him anymore, but doesn’t go all out against Obama), then I’m done with Bill for real.

    • Constance says:

But Hillary has been laying low and hasn’t been offering the lies and excuses for the Lybia terrorist attack on Sep 11. I think they will throw Susan Rice under the bus instead. You can be sure it will be a woman. They can’t risk sacrificing Hillary and Bill.

    Two things:

Dana Loesch tweeted yesterday that she suspects the “secret Romney tape” was their October surprise, which Obama was forced to release early because of all the shit going down in the Middle East and revelations that the administration is straight up lying to us about warnings in Libya, etc. I tend to agree with that. However, the “big” surprise doesn’t seem to have had the effect they had hoped (despite all the work the MSM has been doing). Two non-scientific (internet) polls show overwhelming agreement with Romney’s 47% comment:

    http://www.businessinsider.com/cnbc-and-yahoo-finance-readers-really-liked-mitt-romneys-comments-2012-9

BTW — did you know those Reuters polls — the ones that always have Obama way ahead and that the progs are always shouting about — are crap internet polls? For the love of cheese, those people are morons.

Second, I watched what MoJo is claiming is the “complete” Romney “secret tape” — which was released in two parts — and right when what we’ve already seen re: 47% comments, the tape CUTS OFF — seriously, in the middle of a sentence, it cuts off & part 2 starts on a completely different subject (China). We have no idea of the full context of what Romney actually said re: 47%. I found on legalinsurrection that Prof. Jacobsen noticed the same thing (it’s obvious if you watch the videos) & it’s very interesting — MoJo claims the person who recorded it says the recording device just so happened to turn off accidentally RIGHT THEN!!! and when he noticed he turned it back on, but it was “only a minute or two” that is missing. Besides the fact that I don’t buy that story for shit, besides the fact that A LOT that was very helpful to Romney’s point but harmful to the narrative Obama wants to build could have been said in 1 or 2 minutes (although the tape could be missing 15 minutes FOR ALL WE KNOW), I can guarantee you I have never heard of a case where something HARMFUL to whom you are trying to hit (and if you are secretly recording a candidate, you are trying to hit him) would be edited out like that. The fact that the MSM could even have *reported* on this without first having the complete tape is such fucking crap because with that “missing” bit there is no way it should have been reported on at all.

    Read about it here:
    http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/09/critical-audio-gap-in-complete-romney-tape-released-by-mother-jones/

BTW — the tape was illegally made as well — FL is a two-party consent for recording state. Another reason an ethical MSM should have never reported it.

FedEx says global economy is stalling, cuts outlook for fiscal year by about 10 percent
NEW YORK — FedEx Corp. says the global economy is stalling, and it’s going to get worse next year.

The conditions are shrinking earnings at the world’s second-largest package delivery company. Factories are making fewer items for FedEx to ship and customers are opting for cheaper delivery options to save money. FedEx on Tuesday cut its outlook for global growth and industrial production while slashing the forecast for company earnings. And CEO Fred Smith suggested trade has slowed to levels seen during the last two significant economic downturns.

Heads up on tomorrows scandal. By August, before Romney was official nominee & thus barred from accessing the $100s of millions he’s raised for the GE — his campaign bad to borrow $20 million to operate/campaign/run ads etc. $5 million was paid back in August & an additional $4 million has been paid back in September.

End of August report, however will show a debt of $15 million (even though only $11 million owed). But read the comments — the Obama supporters are truly idiots — they don’t get the concept that Romney couldn’t access GE money & are whooping it up with “this is how a businessman runs a campaign!” blah, blah, blah. They actually don’t understand that “debt” doesn’t mean “out of money” (especially now that he is official nominee). It is really too stupid to describe.

BTW — Obama was on Letterman tonight (the full hour — I wonder if CBS is going to give a full hour to Romney for free — isn’t there some law about that?) & actually said about the deficit:

“We don’t have to worry about it short term.”

That, FTR, that is what a “gaffe” looks like.

Another thing he said — as a message to the Muslim world (on Letterman, remember):

“The message we have to send to the Muslim world is we expect you to work with us to keep our people safe. We expect their full cooperation because that’s the only way the world works.

Proving, without a doubt, that he has as much of a grasp on how “the world works” as his delusional followers do.

    AP-GFK Poll

Poll: Obama job approval rising, race still tight
    […]
The poll results vividly underscore the importance that turnout will play in determining the victor in Campaign 2012: Among all adults, Obama has a commanding lead, favored by 52 percent of Americans to just 37 percent for Romney. Yet among those most likely to vote, the race is drum tight.
Obama is supported by 47 percent of likely voters and Romney by 46 percent, promising an all-out fight to the finish by the two campaigns to gin up enthusiasm among core supporters and dominate get-out-the-vote operations. That’s an area where Obama claimed a strong advantage in 2008 and Republicans reigned four years earlier.

This morning someone on NPR was saying that Romney has been running a “shallow” … campaign “all along”. Don’t know who it was or what program. It was while I was getting ready for work and wasn’t really listening. They could have actually said “Obama” but I don’t think so. Do you?
