Even 2008 obots were classier sounding

    • Glennmcgahee says:

I really would like to see someone interview her now. Did she get free gas, help with her mortgage? Nope.

  2. angienc says:

Gee, look at that — Mitt’s right again.

    • votermom says:

Good point. I don’t think she cares about tax rates. At all.

    • wyntre says:

I have a feeling that woman is mentally challenged, like she’s from a group home or something. If so, the media is using her as prey and it stinks. If not she deserves all the flack headed her way. But if she does have a mental disability I don’t think it’s right to exploit her.

Now, the second obot is clearly an enthusiastic opportunist.

      • angienc says:

Other than the “mental challenge” one needs to be an Obama supporter in the first place (such as a fractured personality disorder), your suspicions about her mental state are wrong. Ignorance is NOT stupidity.

And the only one preying on this woman is Obama.

        • wyntre says:

I disagree. I have worked around mentally dysfunctional people and she shows all the signs of very low intelligence. Reminds me of the kids in the special ed classes I encountered. It looks to me like she and some of the others in the background might have been rounded up from some group home, paid a few bucks, given signs and told to start yelling for the POS.

The POS has been known to use that tactic.

I don’t want him anywhere close to a second term but that woman just looked and sounded like she had a very low IQ and might have been recruited by the ACORN types.

That is my impression. She is nothing like the second, clearly sane young woman from 2008 who says she’ll never have to work again, the POS will give her money, pay her bills, buy her gas.

I don’t agree with anyone exploiting mentally deficient people whether the POS does it or a reporter trying to make the POS look bad does it.

And you have NO IDEA whether or not my suspicions about her mental state are wrong unless you know her personally. In addition to working with mentally challenged people I have a niece with downs syndrome and I have seen the kind of behavior the woman in the video exhibits during my niece’s temper tantrums.

My impression of the clip is every bit as valid as yours so let’s not get into a pissing match. I have my view and you don’t share it. So be it. But I completely reject your supposition that I’m the one who is wrong.

          That woman is pitiful.

          • angienc says:

Oh, yes, I have no idea about your suspicions but you are fully qualified to make a diagnosis on someone’s mental state & the MOTIVES of those filming same based on a 28 SECOND YouTube clip.

        • votermom says:

I did hear a radio caller say he thought he heard her at a diff Ohio event, and he thinks he’s part of a group that is being bussed around to protest Romney.

        • wyntre says:

I never said I was qualified to diagnose her mental state. I stated my opinion. You declared my opinion was wrong.

          You are making things up.

  3. DandyTiger says:

Just commented, thought I’d pull it up here:

Interesting, I’m seeing a big ramp up in hate FB postings from my Obot friends. They were all very quiet for a while, Now they’re all full on hate assault. I guess they got some marching orders.

In other news, we now have verification that we knew terrorist attacks were being planed ahead of time, and within a few hours of the embassy attack in Libya, we knew it was a terrorist attack. Which means full fledged cover up.

I’m sure the two things are just a coincidence. /s

    • votermom says:

      Unleash the attack squirrels!

      • Lizzy says:

Squirrels would probably be more effective than our congress critters and our new personal pravda. I expect nothing from the media unless they can say it was Mitt’s gaffe. But Congress brought Nixon down and they could do it to BO.

    • angienc says:

I’m seeing some more of that too on FB — riling up the base.

    • gxm17 says:

I’m seeing nothing on FB, except for one kid I work with who just posted a Move On meme about Obamacare with President Lying Sack of Shit calling Romney’s plan “Romney Doesn’t Care.” I’m tempted to comment: “You do know that Obamacare is modeled after Romneycare. Don’t you?” How can people be so uninformed? But nothing mean or hateful…yet. Maybe all my obot friends have unfriended me.

    • wyntre says:

Limbaugh had a media montage of TWELVE different outlets saying almost EXACTLY the same thing about the outlandish polls released yesterday breathing new life into the POS campaign or some such phrasing. It was CLEARLY coordinated with everyone reading from the same script.

What wasn’t anticipated was Rush pooling all the reports together so the extent of the coordination was undeniable.

      • As much as I hate to admit it..I have listened to these goons for a long time – and – they did EXACTLY the same thing in support of GWB at the time. Coordinated – from Beck at 9 am right through to Mark Levin at 9PM the lead was THE SAME. We are being played for fools on the Left and the right. And these scumbags laugh all the way to Bernanke’s Office.

  4. DandyTiger says:

Jeeez, these people are easy. You don’t even have to give them something to buy their votes. You say, now this time I really mean it… Forget last time when I didn’t give you what you thought you were getting, this time I will. If you vote for me, free phones. And really, what could you do with a free house and a pony anyway. Phone is better.

  5. HELENK says:

backtrack voters do seem to sell themselves cheaply. I guess they see themselves in backtrack. Do as little as possible and get the bennies and have someone else pay for it.
Damn shame the rest of us have to pay for them. Frankly the load is getting heavy and most of us are tired of carrying it.

Pat Sajak cracks an Obama joke on WoF

  7. yttik says:

LOL, President downgrade! Uhg, that Obot video is atrocious. Mitt is right, how can you reach somebody like that?

Our government really does give people free phones, but it wasn’t President Obama, it was actually President Bush. I help people apply for their free phones all the time. At first it was just subsidized landlines so they could have a phone for less than 10 bucks a month. Now they get free cells phones.

Actually, yes it pisses me off.

    • votermom says:

      Is that a welfare program?

      • My sister has one. She doesn’t use it. Instead she uses the one my mom pays for that she got before she got the Obama phone. The O-phone is just to suck up more cash, I guess.

I love my sister, but I can’t lie to myself. She’s part of the problem.

        • yttik says:

I hear you, Lola, but we need to blame the government for the problem, not the people collecting benefits. Our Gov punishes you for trying to take care of yourself and rewards you for giving up.

With Obamacare, we’re all heading in that direction. I can’t afford insurance, can’t afford the fines, and don’t qualify for medicaid. There’s only one way out of this trap for me, and that’s to lower my income so I start qualifying for more benefits.

Or we could just get a new administration and save ourselves a whole lot of misery…….That’s my “hope.”

        • OMG yttik – we live parallel lives. I swear. This has been my thought process for some time. BUT I REFUSE to be a Government sponsored failure.

    • cj says:

That woman is pathetic. I’m serious, I feel sorry for her. She’s the kind of sad person who both Obamas prey on.

Is it a lack of education or is she developmentally challenged and how many of her are there in this country?

    • Glennmcgahee says:

This has been going on for years way before Obama. It is and used to be a discount if you had a landline that gave you a price minus all the surcharges that gov’t charges on your phone bill. You can still get that or either a cell phone with 200 minutes. One or the other. Obama did NOT provide this. Its been a program for years.

  9. Simofish says:

I was getting my car smogged this week, when I went into the waiting room an Obot was telling another lady how they had to GOTV in other states. This election was so important. She was frothing at the mouth. How could anyone like Romeny? I spoke up and said, I like him and I’m voting for him. (Right then and there her head exploded, there was blood all over the walls)
We ended up having a good conversation. I only say that because I was able to tell her about Romeny – jobs, stories of his leadership – examples. I told her Obama has no plan, he’s in over his head and always has been. Hillary’s mtg with World Leaders and he’s on The View.
The wasn’t your typical angry Obot. She actually thanked me for sharing and said she was still voting for Obama but I was the first person she’d met who said they were voting for Romney – I live in Northern CA – so no surprise.

  11. DeniseVB says:

Happy to report, Obama’s visit to Va Beach did not draw a bigger crowd than Romney’s visit 2 weeks ago 😀

Why they picked such a huge amphitheater venue (used for rock concerts) is strange. Photos showing only half the seats filled and the big grassy area’s empty, not a good optic for Preezy. hee, hee.

  28. DM says:

Well, duh — It’s the economy, stupid!

Older voters look beyond Medicare, Social Security

“It’s not just the cookie cutter that every senior here is totally dependent on Social Security and Medicare,” said Susan MacManus, a political scientist at the University of South Florida. “As the FDR generation has passed and generational replacement has occurred, you get a more divided senior electorate.”
More seniors say the economy is extremely important to their vote than Medicare, says a poll released Thursday by the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation. A recent Associated Press-GfK poll shows 7 in 10 seniors say taxes and the federal deficit are important to them.
Even for those well into retirement, a feeble economy affects older Americans in ways you might not realize. Many have had to bail out adult children who have lost their jobs and turned to their aging parents for help. And those who lived through the Great Depression as children relate intimately to the perils of an over-indebted nation.

    • DM says:

The old, ready to hit the dirt, care about the future. When the young compare two bad presidents, GW and Obama, Obama wins.

      Experience counts.

    • HELENK says:

I go to the grocery and can not understand how families with children manage. The basic things that my kids used to eat are so expensive it is not funny.
      gas prices have curtailed traveling.
I do what I can for my kids, but that is becoming less and less as cost of living goes up.

It used to be you raised your kids, they went on their own and raised their kids and grandparents gave the goodies to the grandkids. While the kids looked to the future and saved for their own retirement. Now the economy has turned around so much that grandparents have to help kids and grandkids to survive.

frankly this HOPE AND CHANGE BS sucks

      • DM says:

You have something to compare. You might remember the awful inflation of the 70s and know we’re heading that way.

Yes. Every time I go to the store, because I don’t keep track of prices, I don’t know what went up, but I know my total skyrocketed within the past year.

        • HELENK says:

during the 70s i stopped buying many things that included sugar because the prices were so high. I baked cookies instead of buying them. no sugar coated cereal. things like that.
so one day i took my youngest to the store with me. In a moment of weakness I bought a box of cookies. She made a very loud announcement to the whole store. ‘ MY MOMMIE BOUGHT COOKIES”

        • DM says:

Sugar was in short supply. I worked for a company that used lots of sugar in its products and had to buy futures. But the inflation was a combination of factors, that was not difficult to fix without pain. Volcker did it and that’s the last we saw of inflation until now. So Bernanke is the one who’s fueling the inflation with the QE1, QE2, and now QE Infinite. It really pisses me off.

    • yttik says:

Also, people actually dependent on medicare, realize how limited it is. They’re the ones having to buy the extra insurance policies to cover all the things medicare doesn’t, having medicare premiums taken out of their SS checks, trying to figure out how to afford co-pays and prescriptions.

Young people are more like, “medicare is the mecca of all social programs in the whole world and I can’t wait until I get to live off of it!!!”

      • DM says:

I’ll trade Medicare for youth any time. But like I said, young people don’t have a full grasp on reality. They only understand their bad situation. Hell, I had nothing, but kids to support, expenses, a poor paying job, and inflation. But unlike the young people of today, I knew what a good economy looked like. The 60s were great, and as bad as the Carter years were, jobs were not as hard to get as they are now. Carter created 10 million jobs in four years. Obama is better than G.W.B.! but not by much.

    • I have to JOY of listening to Dr. MacMannus several times a week here in St. Pete. She is SOOOOOOO GOOD

So I wake up after sleeping all morning and realize the Giants game is on. As I’m flipping the channel I am thinking “I hope they have about a 5-run lead already.” Then I find the game and the score is 6-0 Giants in the 3rd inning.

Maybe it’s gonna be a good day after all.
