Dandy Tiger told me how to embed the video.

I don’t know why it has taken SNL so long to mine the treasure of material that there is at MSNBC ,CNN ABC NBC CBS etc …not to mention material from Obama and Michelle , they might even improve their ratings . That is , of course assuming they don’t end up in jail for probation violations , parking tickets , unpaid taxes , or inciting riots in the middle east..

    • Karma says:

I agree and wonder if the MSM realizes that they helped to weaken him as a candidate, and themselves, by carrying his water for four years. Or did they know that Pres thin-skinned couldn’t handle the truth or hard work so he must be spared?

Even SNL, that they didn’t make fun of Obama asking Jim to move on. That was a moment they would have jumped on for anyone else. They saved the funny for MSNBC skits and punted on Obama.

  3. DandyTiger says:

Pew Research did a poll with an R+3 sample. Interesting. I don’t know if that’s just the random sampling they got or if they’re getting more careful about the sampling, or what. Anyway, with a sampling that I think more closely matches the likely vote, we have Romney 49, Obama 45. Ouch. Let’s see how it’s spun.

    • DandyTiger says:

Gallup has a poll (still a bit skewed to D) showing 47 – 47. At the same time, they still show their 7 day running average (so before debates and before results effected numbers), and that shows Obama 50, Romney 45. Guess which one of those new numbers MSNBC just touted as the current polls and where things stand in the election. 🙂

    • DandyTiger says:

Now this one should be scary for Obots. Politico has a poll, most of which sampled pre-debate with a skew of +8 Dems, showing Obama only up 1. That’s going to leave a mark.

    • Karma says:

Uh oh….Obama is gonna start a war with Iran just to get out of the other debates. /s

“Obama 50, Romney 45. Guess which one of those new numbers MSNBC just touted as the current polls and where things stand in the election. :)’
Internal polls must suck. I just got an urgent “send money:”

    NEW POLL (bad news):
    Monday, October 8, 2012 3:50 PM
We could hardly sleep last night. Have you seen this poll?

    Obama – 47
    Romney – 47

We’ve got one month left until the election, and it’s clearer than ever: we will win or lose based on turnout and how well we can respond to the Republican attacks on the air.”

More snippets from Woodward’s book The Price of Politics.
In other ( mine) words , he really is the asshole I thought he was , and Valerie Jarrett is a frickin groupie

This is why pollsters, political scientists, and political analysts cannot predict how this will affect the race in the mid and later run up to the election. No incumbent president has been creamed like this before. I would like to think that Obama is going to be historic in that he is the first president to have his ass handed to him on international television.

      • carol haka says:

When they hand him his ass it is going to be frightening to see all of the MSM that is stuck up there! 👿

      • britgirls says:

And not only once … but THREE times. Heh!!! I’m so looking forward to the other debates. Even more now that I know the pressure Obama’s under to improve his debate performance.

      • swanspirit says:

Obama can’t keep up; he is out there on the campaign trail whining about Romney’s economy remarks , and Mitt moves on to foreign policy., and hitting him where it hurts very much . One of the most familiar wise phrases is “Timing Is Everything ” , and Obama cannot keep up , because Mitt just keeps coming at him .

  7. Lulu says:

I knew there was a catch.

“A wireless company profiting from the so-called “Obama phone” giveaway program is run by a prominent Democratic donor whose wife has raised more than $1.5 million for the president since 2007.”

“One of the major providers of the free cell phones—3.8 million subscribers as of late 2011—is Miami-based TracFone Wireless, a company whose president and CEO, Frederick “F.J.” Pollak, has donated at least $156,500 to Democratic candidates and committees this cycle, including at least $50,000 to the Obama campaign.”

“Pollak’s wife, Abigail, is a campaign bundler for Obama who has raised more than $632,000 for the president this cycle, and more than $1.5 million since 2007. She has personally contributed more than $200,000 to Democratic candidates and committees since 2008.”

  8. carol haka says:

I don’t like the way Homeland is progressing!

    • I do. Last night’s ending was perfect. Can’t wait for next week! Trust me,. Carrie is coming back to the CIA. The writer interviewed after said as much. Plus, she was vindicated by that ending.

  9. Loved this, ftr. We laughed about it on This American Election yesterday. I’ve been channeling S. E. Cupp for a week.

FYI: Got a post scheduled for half an hour from now. Feel free to change the scheduled time if you need to, Myiq.

I really hope Romney talks more about immigration reform and points out that President Obama has deported more people than any other President, somewhere around 1.2 million

Things are all upside down right now. Before 9/11, Republicans were all pro-immigration and pro-fixing our immigration policies. After 9/11, they went all anti-illegal, as if illegals had attacked us on 9/11 or something.

But the truth is, Obama has been one of the most anti-immigrant President’s ever. He talks a line of crap, but he’s rounded up 1.2 million people and deported them, delivered the Hispanic community 11% unemployment, and provided Mexico with guns to shoot people with.

  11. gxm17 says:

About a week or two ago, I got stuck watching an interview with Darrell Hammond (SNL Gore impersonator) about the work involved creating political impersonations. And I remember that the interviewer asked him why no one does a decent Obama impersonation and Hammond replied that Obama can’t be satirized because he is such an “elegant” man and so well spoken (with never a word out of place) that there’s nothing to caricature. I was dumbstruck. I should be accustomed to Obamanation and their delusional state but somehow they never cease to amaze me. Obama is not an “elegant” man; he’s actually rather clumsy and a stuttering clusterfuck (h/t AngieNC, iirc). His words are only well chosen when they’re scrolled across a teleprompter for him to read (and they’re his writers’ words, not his). That aside, even if he was overly “elegant” or verbally exceptional, these things can be satirized. Anything can be satirized. Either the SNL writers and actors are A) not creative enough, B) blinded by their Obamagod delusions, C) they’re racist assholes who can’t see past Obama’s complexion, or D) all of the above. IMO, it’s all of the above. But there is no good reason why they haven’t treated Obama like any other president. None. Not one. Gawd, but I can’t wait to get past this (Obama)national insanity and move the fuck on.

    • carol haka says:

I don’t think his stuttering is truly stuttering. I think he stutters with halting speech. He barely ahhhed or …. at the debate. But then again, he didn’t have anything to say.

    • myiq2xu says:

You might as well ask a Muslim to satirize Muhammad.

    • angienc says:

Thanks for the h/t gxm — but Ace (at AoSHQ) is where I first saw SCoaMF (stuttering clusterfuck of a miserable failure) used to describe Obama.
The description is so perfect, btw.

  12. myiq2xu says:

If your ambush doesn’t work, mischaracterize the reaction as “gets testy”

  13. carol haka says:

Sarah said Happy Columbus Day. She said she is in California for DWTS. And, Bristol and the show are receiving death threats and white powder. Seriously, people are so mentally ill. 👿

    • yttik says:

I have to vote for Bristol and Mark with every phone I can get my hands on tonight, just because it pisses me off that there are people who don’t believe she has a right to participate in a dance competition.

  14. carol haka says:

For those that are allowed to read at RD’s, she has a great article: Oh, Dear! Mitt was mean to Obama Funny and Sickening 👿

  15. carol haka says:

Bill is endorsing Fauxchahontas! The man has lost his marbles or they used some kind of voodoo on him! 👿

  16. driguana says:

Much funnier, and more deeply funny, than their Palin spoofs.
