Two videos from “Lady Parts Justice”. The second one is a little NSFW.

These are not parodies, although they were produced by Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show.

I thought 2008 was the weirdest election ever.

    I was wrong.

  2. myiq2xu says:

    Remember the Ewok ad?

  3. yttik says:

Ironic how they say, “since 2011there have been hundred of laws passed that strip away a woman’s access to healthcare..”

Remind me, who was in charge in 2011? Have we not just spent the last 4 years with a Dem President, and earlier, a Dem majority in congress? If all these laws have been passed on Democrat’s watch, remind me again why I’m supposed to vote for Dems?

After a while I start to get the impression Democrats actually like these laws. They just provide so much tasty political capital.

  4. swanspirit says:

This is why Jon Stewart isn’t funny anymore , other than the fact that he is a complete shill for Obama of course.

    • DM says:

I disagree. Jon is still funny. Sure he’s a shill, but we’ve known that.

      • swanspirit says:

I rarely find him funny anymore , once in a while , but I used to really laugh .

        • myiq2xu says:

Every once in a while I’ll tune in but I typically tune back out within a minute or two.

TDS used to be one of my favorite shows.

        • DM says:

Jon’s type of koolaid is not offensive to me, not so with Colbert. Jon’s audiences are koolaid drinkers, hence understandable. When Jon makes fun of Obama, it is truth telling and ruthless.

        • DM — did you read that swill from Colbert in Glamour magazine? Colbert claims that what he wants in his next president is ovaries. But amazingly there is no mention of Hillary. Just deceased first wives, the Fierce 5 gymnasts, and his nieces. How insulting!

    • Pips says:

That’s how I feel too, Swannie. Did he lose all his good writers? All he ever does these days – and for the most part in a totally over the top fashion – is ridiculing Republicans. On and on. Yawn. Even when he mocks Obama a teensy-weensy bit, he plays it safe by making Republicans the butt of the joke. Predictable and tedious. As is his audience.

One of the few times he has ridiculed Obama, was after the first Obama-Romney debate. But then he had to ruin it all by explaning Obama’s looking down most of the time, as Obama preoccupied with making a drawing of Romney … with a naked woman’s body! That was funny, just how?

      • swanspirit says:

Yes, I watched that , but I have given up hoping he will wake up , and he deliberately bypasses SO MUCH that could make him really fair and really funny . Now if I do watch , it for the same reason I watch Tweety or CNN , to see the meltdown when things don’t go their way , and that is funny 😉

  5. myiq2xu says:

    Halloween gets creepier every year.

    • Erica says:

It does! This year we’re not stepping foot in a Halloween store. The ones in our area can basically be repurposed into adult stores by hanging a new sign out front and tossing in a few videos.

I told my 14 year old it’s homemade costume or no costume this year. I’m not gonna pay 35 bucks so she can turn in to some dude’s fantasy.

      • votermom says:

We are doing home-made too – they picked tv/movie characters. My older kid wants to be the announcer in Hunger Games (pink hair, fab clothes) and the other one wants to be Ruby (Red Riding Hood) from Once Upon A Time.

        • Jadzia says:

I miss Halloween! Because mid-fall seems to be the time for my now-annual nervous breakdown, I always really enjoy making the Halloween costumes, it’s really therapeutic. Today was VERY sad because, having no reason to keep the Halloween costumes, I shipped off an extremely elaborate angel/devil costume from Halloween 2010 back to Alabama for my sister’s little girl to wear. : (

        • elliesmom says:

My 14 month old granddaughter is going to be Little Red Riding Hood. I just finished knitting the red cape. The only really good thing that came out of 2008 for me was learning how to knit. Her big brother is going to be the wolf.

  6. tommy says:

Hmm….I’m hungry as hell, but no food around. Looks like I’ll have to do an old-fashioned fast before the debate.

  7. tommy says:

I got to admit that I finally have hopes that our non-eating dog candidate can win. Hes up +4 by gallup, +2 by rasmussen, and O is +1 according to IBD.

  8. DeniseVB says:

Hey, it’s Tin Foil Tuesday and boy do I have one for ya’ll :

Funny thing, Kevin Dujan of Hillbuzz posted the exact same “theory” awhile back. So it must be true ! /s

    • DM says:

Romney is responsible for Sensata and wants to make tampons illegal too. 🙄

    • DM says:

Theories like the one at Hillbuzz shows once again how those who drink the Republican sauce or the Obama koolaid believe ludicrous theories. Both camps should stop the stupid.

      • DeniseVB says:

/s = sarcasm. The comments in the link I posted made for an interesting discussion though. Too many questions still unanswered 😦

      • yttik says:

I trust Hillbuzz to be over the top….and I’ve learned that although some of his theories are theatrical, there’s often an element of truth behind them.

  9. wmcb says:

I am getting really sick of the Democrats reducing women to nothing but ladyparts. They completely IGNORE the whole of women’s lives, and keep screeching about abortion. I’m pro-choice, but it’s fucking insulting and demeaning.

  10. Constance says:

I live in Washington, Abortion is legal here under state law regardless of what the Feds decide. Due to my age I now have freedom from reproduction. I donate yearly to Planned Parenthood. Dems, Stop assaulting me with this nonsense. It is really offensive. Get out of my face with it!

  11. mcnorman says:

RICE THROWS INTEL UNDER THE BUS: UN Ambassador Susan Rice is now backwalking her inane insistence that the Libyan/Egyptian and other attacks on 9/11 were spontaneous outbursts of anger about a stupid YouTube video. Apparently, the official line is now that “Intel made me do it”:

In an interview Monday with The Washington Post, Rice said she relied on daily updates from intelligence agencies in the days before her television appearances and on a set of talking points prepared for senior members of the administration by intelligence officials. She said there was no attempt to pick and choose among possible explanations for the attack.

“Absolutely not,” Rice said. “It was purely a function of what was provided to us” and had been given to Congress the day before.

    • DM says:

Rice would make a good story teller. Another fairy tale from the Obama camp.

    • Constance says:

Do Obots really believe their own lies? Clearly Obots believe if they repeat lies enough they become the truth. Or do they just have to get them printed by a certain number of papers to have them become truth.

  12. westcoaster says:

I’m still waiting for that equal pay that was promised

  13. westcoaster says:

    two timely cartoons:
new slogan- “I’ll do better next time”:

    blaming Hillary:

  14. Constance says:

I want a cartoon showing how many women Obama is screwing over with his Libya lies. Something I can send around to my few remaining Democrat friends. Something about a real war on women. Like a weasel with an Obama symbol driving a bus over a bunch of women. But maybe it’s too soon. If the pressure stays on Obama he will have to out the White House source of the cover up and odds are Stephanie or Valerie or both will get dumped cuz it sue as hell won’t be Axelrod or the Hillary boob grabber.

  15. swanspirit says:

Do they realize what comes out of their mouths ? Is that a preview of Obama in the debate ? He won’t realize how bad what he is saying is, until it it too late? I hope so .

  16. Pips says:

I’ve been wondering if Obama – perhaps as part of pandering to women/ women’s feelings? – will trot out his daughters for tonight’s debate?

It sure will make much better ‘optics’ than Michelle being accompanied by Valerie Jarrett. Besides, why let Romney’s grandkids and Ryan’s kids be the only ones challenging women’s ‘Aaawww-instinct’. 😉

    • Jadzia says:

I actually feel pretty sorry for his daughters, not just because it must suck going through adolescence in the presidential fishbowl, but also because they seem to have a dad who just does not like women. I have a stepdad like that (dad isn’t, thank heavens), and growing up around that kind of attitude can really do a number on a girl, particularly during the teen years. I hope they get some good raising from Grandma Robinson.

via Ace, great smackdown of Politico by Tim Carney

  18. swanspirit says:

WHAT!!! VAN JONES calls Romney a douche on CNN Lady parts Justice where are you ?

    • swanspirit says:

I am sorry , I missed the best part, he called Romney a douche in front of a scroll sign that said Wanted : Women’s Votes

      • Erica says:

It doubly pisses me off when gay men use terms like douche to demean people. I know it shouldn’t, but it does. Sadly, I’m not even surprised when cr@p like that comes from 0’s team. And it wasn’t even in private, or off camera. That’s what they think constitutes intelligent discussion.

I am so ready for a change–that’s my one and only hope (Obama built that).

In retrospect, it was a good thing that May 31, 2008 happened or I’d still be a registered member of the party that thinks shit like this is a good idea.

    • jjmtacoma says:

I think if May 31st had reflected the will of the voters, “the party” we see today wouldn’t have to try stupid shit like this. Really, does this show a respect of the voters or women?

These videos treat us like we need the most graphic illustration to “get it”.

Honey Boo Boo just endorsed Obama so I will now be following suit! 👿

  24. yttik says:

I’m really liberal on social issues, as in non judgmental and tolerant, but I think we’re going way to far to the Left here in liberal utopia. Our school has a health clinic which gives out BC with no parental notification, to anybody over TEN years old. Condoms is one thing, but girls can also get BC pills and Depo shots. The thing is, there can be serious side effects, blood clots, spikes in BP, strokes. It’s not candy! An adult needs to be aware of what’s going on and a doctor needs to monitor for side effects.

At some point in the battle for reproductive freedom, common sense went out the window and we started treating girls (and women) like disposable political commodities.

Being able to have sex and prevent teen pregnancy now seems to take precedence over the health/life of young girls. It’s as if it’s no longer about them and their well being, now it’s all about making a political statement.

    • carol haka says:

Any ten year old that needs contraceptives needs to be in foster care. 👿

    • Erica says:

I feel the same way, yttik. The “issues” are more important than the girls and their families. And common sense has gone out the window.

Presidential Debate Drunk Klown Blog I starts at 5:45 pm Klown standard time.

  26. carol haka says:

Bad news Klown. Taylor cheated on Conor with his cousin. I guess she is destined to be a Kennedy 🙂

  27. carol haka says:

Fox just showed obama walking acoss WH lawn picking his nose. I guess the questionof the debate will he or won’t he pick tonight? My money is he will. 👿

Jonathan Alter says we’re all gonna die!

    • leslie says:

WHOSE payroll is Alter on? Seriously, I can’t remember “journalists” outright campaigning like this in the past. This is shameful.

  29. britgirls says:

Did you see this comment from a former Clinton and Obama aide? She’s now hastily backtracking on her moment of honesty.

“People say the reason Obama wouldn’t call Clinton is because he doesn’t like him,” Tanden said. “The truth is, Obama doesn’t call anyone, and he’s not close to almost anyone. It’s stunning that he’s in politics, because he really doesn’t like people. My analogy is that it’s like becoming Bill Gates without liking computers.”

    • leslie says:

Frankly, I wondered just how long it would take for her to walk that back. Nearly record time.

      • Glennmcgahee says:

I had never heard that comment by Tanden. But I realized long ago Obama doesn’t like anyone, except himself of course. He just uses them.
