Interesting. As I’ve taken to posting more pro-Romney or anti-Obama stuff on my facebook page, my liberal American friends are mostly silent. The only ones I get much pushback from are Europeans who don’t live here.
Funny, the ONLY liberal on my list of Facebook friends who posts anti-Obama stuff (and I suspect may even vote for Romney) is a fellow expat. And gay. He drank the kool-aid the first time around, and about six months after this administration took office, sent me a very nice “you were right and I was wrong” note, so he’s one of my favorite people right now.
That said, the media coverage I have seen here in France (keeping in mind that my language skills suck) has been pretty slanted towards the big O.

OK here is a partial theory. Remember that Seattle Times article that said one of the terrorists involved in the Libya attack had died this week in Egypt? So what if the attacking terrorists were Egyptians not Libyans. They came across the border in some pre arranged deal with the White house to kidnap but not harm our Ambassador, giving Obama a chance to look Presidential as well as trade the “Blind Sheik” back to Egypt which many people think he wants to do. But instead of a simple kidnapping of a diplomat who was left unprotected they got a bunch of ready for action warriors who were not in on Obama’s farce.
Seriously if they are having a cover up there has to be something to cover up. Also since the Seals were involved there had to be some dead guys on the other side so how many were there and who were they. They might have been Egyptians.
