The U.S. is far behind Europe in burying electrical, phone and other wires. Overhead wires are ugly and more prone to failures in storms.

Latest Michigan poll has O leading R by just +3 (within MOE). And Chris Matthews calls global warming sceptics ‘pigs’. I wonder what pigs have to do with global warming. Oh its ‘thrill Chrissy’ we’re talking about.

I have zero expectations for this loser, and yet he still sinks lower. I cannot believe he said this. He is certifiable.

This is a tough time for a lot of people; millions of folks all across the Eastern Seaboard, but America’s tougher. And we’re tougher because we pull together, we leave nobody behind, we make sure we respond as a nation and remind ourselves that whenever an American is in need, all of stand together to make sure we’re providing the help that’s necessary.

I didn’t follow the book club threads yet because I’m way behind, listening to it on audiotape. But I have to say – Romney knows and explains so much about the different moving parts of the economy and how they work together, and he knows so much about history – and not just U.S. history, the history of so many other nations.

I’m feeling so hopeful about the future with an accomplished, intelligent, hard-working president (like Hillary, although not the same social ideas unfortunately). Twelve years with a couple of idiots was soul crushing.

And I get the sense that he is a decent man. I’d really like to see our culture uplifted – down with the rap culture, up with morals and community spirit and civic responsibility.
