What’s interesting when I look at the numbers there is that Dens got slightly more early votes (as expected) and double the number of GOP votes on election day (shocking) .

Oh, and blaming conservatives/tea party for staying home is pointing to the Blue states that were told Mitt didn’t have a chance in . About 3 million in CA, IL and NY? Maybe it is time we get rid of the Electoral College ? But I’m sure someone’s explained to me why we can’t, it’s always annoyed me that a half dozen states choose our Presidents.
The Electoral is in the Constitution.
We can however, petition our State Legislatures to change the way electoral votes are awarded. One such movement died aborning here in PA last year. Some dumbasses felt the need to keep them all as one big 20 vote prize so candidates would campaign here and spend money. BWAHAHAHAHA! How’d that work out for them?
We desperately need proportional awarding of the Electoral votes. Otherwise, people who live out here in western PA really d not have a vote as we can never overcome the massive population advantage of Philly.
When we have an election as close as this, we, the bitter clingers, could only have influence if our votes actually meant something, Philly gets their votes- AND OURS TOO!
Awarding the electoral votes BY DISTRICT would go a long way towards a more fair representation. It is much harder for either side to cheat out here where the population is small and everyone knows everyone else.

As you can see, there are easily 5 or 6 districts that would NOT have gone to Obama.
Do the same with Ohio, VA. FL, etc and all of a sudden it is a lot more competitive.
So, that is my goal. To hound Harrisburg until we get some movement on this and I suggest others do the same. Electoral representation is our right as citizens!

Yes, the winner takes all is b.s.! Since Congressional districts are proportionate to population it would be more than fair to award each district won rather than total popular vote.

Bronco is going to have several problems before he is even re-inaugurated. The fiscal cliff, states baulking at the state exchanges and expanding Medicaid (thanks Judge Roberts) meaning the feds have to do it and did not appropriate any money to do so or have an agency ready so they will hire some private assholes to rip people off, a hot Middle East, exploding unemployment (and under employment), a leery stock market and voting groups who re-installed him that want his attention and payback. That is just off the top of my head and doesn’t include scandals, staff leaving or natural disasters. It is a hot mess but he wanted the job again so no excuses on his inability to multitask or do anything but campaign. He better get busy fast.
He isn’t going to do anything differently . He already proved that by golfing while NJ and NY froze .He is going to work on “shaping his legacy “, and it will be about as accurate as the other fiction he wrote about himself .
In other words , he will take credit for anything that might go right , and blame everything else on anyone and everyone else .
