    LOL! That’s cute!

I think the military is the only part of government that has ever proven themselves to be efficient. Sometimes they sure can get things done! But “military intelligence,” that’s practically an oxymoron!

However, I think the intelligence community has been given a bum rap by the last two Presidents. I keep expecting them to revolt and go on strike or something President Bush and Colin Powell blamed “faulty intelligence,” now President Obama, Susan Rice, etc, are all trying to claim “faulty intelligence.” After a while I would think the intelligence community would get tired of being everybody’s scapegoat, especially when we’ve come to discover that there never was any “faulty intelligence,” unless you’re talking about the faulty intelligence of our leaders who just keep trying to cover their a$$es.

Perhaps it was paternalism, but on the other hand, maybe she actually knows more than they’re saying (they say she was just “given the words to say”) – maybe if she were deposed AND told the truth, she’d reveal way more about Obama and Benghazi than he would want. Maybe it’s just more of obama protecting himSELF!

I really, really hope he goes DOWN….

When Ani’s book came out, I bought a whole bunch of them, and mailed them to university women’s studies departments, but also to their journalism departments.

I really wish someone could put together some of these press conferences, and then videotape a person speaking in front of those press conferences being projected on screen. The person could stop and start the projection, and address the issues.

Such as, “very few people are able to ask a question – a stupid question wastes prescious opportunity. A stupid question is one which is not a pressing issue of the day. A wasted question also results when the questioner lets Obama ramble on and never even the question, and additionally, the questioner never asks the same question again being more specific that s/he wants an answer to the question, and doesn’t ask a follow up question to further get at the elusive “answer”.” Then s/he would point out various instances of when the questioner is dropping the ball. And of course, s/he should mention that whenever a journalist drools over Obama or gets a tingle, they get their pink slip.

Anyway, it would be like a teaching video for journalists, since they’re obviously not learning journalism 101 in school….

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Wednesday recounted an interesting exchange he recently had with a man at an airport in Phoenix.

At the Washington Ideas Forum sponsored by The Atlantic, McCain said, “I was recently at Sky Harbor, and a man came up to me and said, ‘Has anyone ever told you that you look like John McCain?’ ”

    McCain replied, “Yeah.”

The man said, “Doesn’t that make you mad?”

A Chinese man divorced and then sued his ex-wife for giving birth to what he called an extremely ugly baby girl, the Irish Times reported.

Initially, Jian Feng accused his wife of infidelity, so sure that he could never father an unattractive child.

When a DNA test proved that the baby was his, Feng’s wife came clean on a little secret — before they met, she had undergone about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea.

Feng sued his ex-wife on the grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him about the plastic surgery and duping him into thinking she was beautiful, The Huffington Post reported.

The kicker? He won. A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his ex-wife to fork over $120,000.

At a morning press conference that set the standard for today’s testy responses, Sen. John McCain was calling for a select committee to investigate failures in the Benghazi attack when he was asked by a reporter whether he thought Gen. David Petraeus’ extramarital affair and resignation might have been a bigger national security threat than the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

“Well, I say with great respect, that’s one of the dumbest questions I’ve ever heard. Okay? There’s four dead Americans. Four dead Americans. Not a socialite. I’m answering your question. Do you want me to answer your question or do you wanna interrupt? Which do you want? There’s four dead Americans. The lives of other Americans were put in jeopardy,” McCain said. “It’s certainly a national security issues, but it doesn’t rise to the level of four dead Americans.”

McCain was much nicer than I would’ve been. I’d have asked him if an act of war – an attack on an American embassy and the assassination of the Ambassador – is less important than an act of adultery with the possilbity of breached security. Then I’d have told the *reporter* to go f*ck himself.

Sadly, I’m having more trouble than usual on the intertubz tonite. I couldn’t connect to anything except twitter for the past 40 minutes or more.
I think I was simply excited about having finally connected to TCH.

Krauthammer:”now he’s (bronco) out there…I think he may regret having said that”.

Someone’s going to have to ask him about it and there isan’t one person who has the tnerve/chutzpah/balls to question obama.
Name one. No one follows up with questions. They’re all too busy kissing his a$$.

Outside in the dark and cold, fumbling around to get my garbage cans out to the curb for p/u tomorrow morning. Wondered why the neighbors hadn’t put theirs out yet.

Then I remembered that Monday was a holiday and p/u this week is Friday.
