Get A Grip!

So FLOTUS shows up on the Jimmy Fallon show last week to do “The Evolution of Mom Dancing”. Not my cup of tea but different strokes for different folks. While we do expect a certain amount of decorum in affairs surrounding our nation’s leaders, Michelle Obama is a private citizen and she was on her own time.

On the other hand she is not immune to mockery. If the original video was within the bounds of appropriateness then the response by Michelle Malkin easily was within those bounds as well. But some of the reactions to the latter video have been over the top.

I really don’t understand why Michelle Malkin inspires so much venom and hatred from the left. Like many other prominent conservative women she makes it her policy to republish or retweet the hate mail she receives from Vile Progs. And she receives a lot of it – ugly, nasty stuff filled with racism and misogyny.

Some people need to get a grip. But for some reason you rarely see anyone on the left condemning the racism and misogyny emanating from their side of town.

Just look at her! She’s so skinny & cute & sassy and looks at least 10 years younger than she is and worst of all she seems so damn happy! She. Must. Be. Destroyed.

  2. Is this for real? Create a whole new Dept in the Fed Govt to suck up yet more tax dollars? Cuz things like the Dept of Education worked so well right?

The first time I saw MM she was on Tweety’s show (back when I remained a brainwashed Dem twit). He threws her off his show and told her she would NEVER be allowed back on the air as long as he was there. (He prolly meant MSNBO) I remember her as being direct and (as I heard her) very much dogmatic and hostile. I was really looking at her from the eyes of the walking (brain)dead I think.
Now I see her very differently. 2008 made apostates of many.

    Sarah expands on her tweet

D.C.: Cut the Drama. Do Your Job.

Americans are sick and tired of yet another ginned-up crisis. D.C. needs to grow up, get to work, and live within its means. The real economic Armageddon looming before us is our runaway debt, not the sequester, which the President advocated for and signed into law and is now running around denouncing because he never had any genuine intention of reining in his reckless spending.

Remember that this sequestration deal came about because of the long debt ceiling standoff in the summer of 2011. It wasn’t the ideal outcome for anyone, but it did at least include real deficit reduction of about $110 billion per year for 10 years, which is still nowhere near enough to close our massive deficit. Keep in mind that since the sequester passed, the President has already hit American families and small business owners with his tax increases, or “more revenue” as he likes to call it. The American public doesn’t want tax increases; we want government to rein in its overspending.

If we can’t stomach modest cuts that would lower federal spending by a mere 0.3% per year out of a current federal budget of $3.6 trillion, then we might as well signal to the whole world that we have no serious intention of dealing with our debt problem.

If we are going to wet our proverbial pants over 0.3% in annual spending cuts when we’re running up trillion dollar annual deficits, then we’re done. Put a fork in us. We’re finished. We’re going to default eventually and that’s why the feds are stockpiling bullets in case of civil unrest.

If we ARE serious about putting our fiscal house in order, then let’s stop the hysterics, tighten our belts, and take our medicine.

Heaven forbid a woman, a non white woman, think for herself and have her own opinions. In that case, you must be destroyed. No straying from the plantation, ever.

MM is not a really great dancer….that’s all I have to say about it. Just look how much vile progs hate Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Ann Romney, Michell Malkin…women with a strong conservative or different point of view are reviled. Actually, Sarah and Ann should put out a dance video, too….that would be a real hoot. In fact, Ann Coulter and Ann Romney could hook up and do The Double Ann Quake, Sarah could do The Alaska Bake…let ’em eat Harlem Shake cake!

She’s not really a private citizen and there’s no such thing as “on your own time” when you’re First Lady. That’s the price you pay for being married to the leader of the free world. It may not be fair, but that’s the way it is.

during the first primary she wanted a paycheck to be the first lady. That idea got shot down real quick. Instead she gets paid with lavish vacations

Hi guys. On amtrak typing on a nook, ugh! Love the train, hate typing on tiny keyboards. I can peek in and read when the wifi works!

That is hilarious! Good for her – and she’s a much better dancer than Mrs. O.

I like the dance! Republicans need some new moves.

Men are so into the Single Ladies dance. I have never seen a group of women do it but the guys at the Gay parade did it and I saw a group of male life guards do it. Kind of weird guys are so ummm girly.
