Obama supporters

Is there a single left-wing advocacy group that hasn’t flushed their credibility down the toilet because of Obama?

Check this one out:

Evidently, quoting a person’s own words back to them is now an ad hominem attack. Scarborough nailed Krug with his hypocrisy, and Krug starts harumphing “AD HOMINEM! CHARACTER ASSASSINATION!” like a mewling infant.

It’s the Left’s go-to defense on every topic when taking damage from an informed arguer: You are a bad person with bad motives so no one should listen to you so shut up.

No, there is not a single advocacy group that I can see that has not compromised itself…it is rather astounding! The concern now though is, what will it take to wake up or enlighten the sheeple??? A revolution, ethnic warfare, complete economic collapse, a foreign invasion, a world word, a food and water crisis????….intelligence hasn’t seem to have worked so I’m a bit worried here…

    • yttik says:

I almost wish one of those calamities would happen. LOL, almost! I’m afraid that what is going to wake people up is a l-o-n-g, slow annoying drip, like water on stone. Eventually the water wins and bores a hole in the stone, but it is a slow process. People will eventually get tired of the lies, the empty promises, the miserable economy, the rotten leadership, and change direction.

    • Constance says:

I think they are too stupid to realize if they are in the middle of a revolution, complete economic collapse or a foreign invasion and they enjoy and are prying for ethnic warfare in the USA.

Perfect for TFHT …. from Sooper’s blog, though he has a disclaimer it is “second hand information”, but nobody’s surprised this could really happen.

Photo ops means press pool’s probably in attendance too? You would think they’d report something this disturbing, unless they’re not allowed to talk to the props ?

Leaked Email Confirms Obama Administration Working to Maximize Pain Sequester Cuts for Political Gain

Well, that’s been quite obvious for awhile now.

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in response to the Obama Administration’s effort to intentionally undermine government operations in order to score political points:

“This email confirms what many Americans have suspected: The Obama Administration is doing everything they can to make sure their worst predictions come true and to maximize the pain of the Sequester cuts for political gain. Instead of cutting waste, the Administration Obama is hurting workers. President Obama should stop protecting wasteful government spending.”

According to an internal email, Charles Brown, the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s (APHIS) eastern regional director, asked his superiors about how much flexibility he had in trimming his program’s budget in light of the sequester. The response from the Obama Administration was clear:

“We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 States in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So, it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.” (emphasis added)

George Zimmerman lawyer: No ‘stand your ground’ hearing in April

Attorneys for George Zimmerman were expected to ask his judge this morning to order the state’s most important witness, the young Miami woman who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin just before he was shot, to produce medical records.

However, defense lawyer Don West made a startling claim shortly after the hearing began: The state had revealed, before the hearing, that there are no medical records.

The woman, the defense lawyer said, “misrepresented” in a sworn statement that she missed Trayvon’s funeral because she had been hospitalized.

“In fact, she lied,” West said.

Prosecutor John Guy confirmed there will be no medical records, effectively confirming that there was no hospital trip.

The defense had requested the records to challenge her story. Zimmerman is not in court today. The hearing started about 9 a.m.

The young woman, typically referred to as Witness 8, already had credibility problems: Benjamin Crump, an attorney for Trayvon’s family, identified her as 16 years old when he played for reporters a recorded interview he conducted with her in March.

But she was 18 at the time and 19 now, O’Mara says.

What’s up with the media always portraying gun owners as some gap-toothed scary white redneck? Per Gallup in 2011, 45% (almost half) of *legal* gun owners in this country are non-white. 30% of them are African American.

There are very nasty Jim Crow roots to gun control. The very first gun control measures ever enacted against citizens in this nation were in the segregated south, to disarm negroes so that they could not defend themselves when the KKK showed up. Shouldn’t that give us pause?

  14. HELENK says:

do not remember so many e-mails to so many people telling them not to criticize a politician in office

    • wmcb says:

No, it doesn’t. Our economy never recovered. It’s all fake, propped up by mind-blowingly historic, massive infusions by the Federal Reserve. They put a big, thick honking layer of bandages over the wound, and started blood transfusions, but did zippo to address the bleeding. They hid the bleeding, and kept the patient alive, but they fixed nothing.

We’ve still been bleeding, for 5 years now. We’ve been bleeding the whole time. There was no recovery. And the Fed has just about run out of bags of blood to hang, and the bandage is getting soaked through. And when the crash hits this time, we are in an even weaker state than before.

Not that anyone cares, or even pays attention to stuff like this. But yeah, we’re pretty fucked.

      • yttik says:

I think we’ve been bleeding for at least 50 years. President Obama just ripped the wound open some more.

It’s not really rocket science or anything, nobody really knows how much debt America can carry before it all comes tumbling down. You start hitting trillions with little to back it up, and we’re in totally new territory. It’s never been done before. However, we do have examples of smaller countries who have gone down this path and it sure wasn’t pretty.

I know some of us are old enough to remember…….

SCENARIO: Jack pulls into the school parking lot with his rifle in the gun rack of his pickup.

1963: Vice principal comes over, takes a look at Jack’s rifle, goes to his car and gets his rifle to show Jack. They swap hunting stories until the bell rings for school to begin.

2013: School goes into lockdown, FBI is called, Jack is hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors are called in for traumatized students and teachers.

SCENARIO: Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.

1963: Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up best friends.

2013: Police are called, SWAT team arrives, Johnny and Mark are arrested. Both are charged with assault and expelled from school.

SCENARIO: Jimmy won’t sit still, distracts other students, and disrupts the class.

1963: Jimmy is sent to the principal’s office and threatened with bodily harm if he doesn’t sit still in class. Jimmy sits still in class.

2013: Jimmy is given huge doses of Ritalin and becomes a zombie. His school gets extra money from state because Jimmy has a disability.

SCENARIO: Billy breaks a window in his father’s car and his dad gives him a spanking.

1963: Billy is more careful, grows up normal, and becomes a successful businessman.

2013: Billy’s dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. Billy’s sister is persuaded by a state psychologist that she remembers being abused herself, and their dad goes to prison. Their mother ends up on public assistance.

SCENARIO: Mike has a headache, so he takes some aspirin with him to school.

1963: Mike takes aspirin, feels better, and does well in school. He shares some of his aspirin with his friend Nick, whose muscles are sore after gym class.

2013: Police are called. Mike is expelled from school for drug dealing.

SCENARIO: Pedro fails high school English.

1963: Pedro goes to summer school, passes English, graduates from high school, goes to technical college, and gets a good job.

2013: Pedro’s cause is taken up by the state. Democrat legislators charge that making mastery of English a requirement for graduation is racist. English is banished from the core curriculum. Pedro is given a diploma, but he ends up mowing lawns for a living because he can’t speak English.

SCENARIO: Bobby takes apart leftover firecrackers from the 4th of July, puts them in a model airplane paint bottle, and blows up a red ant hill.

    1963: Ants die.

2013: BATF, DHS, and FBI are called. Bobby is charged with domestic terrorism, his parents are investigated, Bobby and his siblings are removed from the home, computers are confiscated, and Bobby’s dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

SCENARIO: Joey falls on the playground during recess and scrapes his knee. His teacher finds him crying. She hugs him to comfort him.

1963: Joey feels better, stops crying, continues playing.

2013: The teacher is accused of child sexual abuse and loses her job. She serves ten years in state prison. Because of her criminal record, she can’t get another job when she is released from prison, and she ends up on public assistance for the rest of her life.

the really sad thing is that these examples really happen

    • yttik says:

LOL, I’ve seen those! They’re funny and sad but true!

Locally we really did have kids come to school with rifles in their car, only 40 years ago. When I went to school in the city however, you had to go through security checkpoints and we had armed guards patrolling. I think that’s why I don’t believe the hype these days. We’ve been there and done that. Nothing is new under the sun.

  16. A story that will never see the light of day in the American press:

“The president had a truly disturbing habit of funnelling major foreign policy decisions through a small cabal of relatively inexperienced White House advisers whose turf was strictly politics,” Mr Nasr writes in The Dispensable Nation: America Foreign policy in Retreat.

The book sets out in detail how Mr Holbrooke, appointed with great fanfare in 2009, was systematically cut out of decision making as both he and Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state, tried to argue the merits of engaging with the Taliban and the dangers caused by the overuse of drones.

“The White House seemed to see an actual benefit in not doing too much,” Prof Nasr writes, “The goal was to spare the president the risks that necessarily come with playing the leadership role that America claims to play in this region.”

Admiral Mike Mullen, who was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff until September 2011, is quoted lamenting how little support Mrs Clinton received from the White House, even though she remained on good personal terms with Mr Obama.

“They want to control everything,” Admiral Mullen is quoted as saying of a White House that Prof Nasr says was “ravenous” in its desire to manage foreign policy, even by the to-be-expected standards of turf wars between diplomatic and national security teams.

They should add no trips for his wife and family either. I read on another site that Malia and 8 of her girlfriends were flown to NYC to dine in Manhattan this past weekend. They had four parents and 5 secret service agents along to chaperone……plus a full motorcade no doubt, although the story didn’t mention a motorcade.

That just really pisses me off, we paid to fly a bunch of 14 year olds on a junket.

Quick history lesson on gun control:

    • yttik says:

Yes, there’s lots of history around gun control and racism, going way back to the Black Codes. I can’t believe how upside down everything is and how the media and the Dems have attempted to rewrite history! I remember when Ronald Reagan was allegedly going to disarm blacks and the Black Panthers showed up armed to protest. President Reagan was seen as a threat to the black community for many reasons, but one was his anti-gun legislation in Ca, that was viewed specifically as an attack on the black community.

      • wmcb says:

I remember them being afraid Reagan might take black people’s guns.

Well, just like wars and bombing and drones and shutting down free speech and intimidating the press and racial slurs and misogyny:
