    It may be Monday and the world may be rapidly falling apart but it IS the beginning of March Madness and to many of us, the greatest sporting event in America….college basketball. Time to fill out your bracket and make some racket….makes for great fun. If you’re not a college basketball fan, just tune in a game or two during the last 2 minutes….that’s the most exciting time if it’s a close game and many of these should be.

    As a graduate of Indiana University in ’74 during the great Hoosier run, I’m all in for Indiana….however, the New Mexico Lobos are a huge surprise albeit coached by a Hoosier…got lots of family in Louisville, so they’re my next favorite and the relatives in KC got a bunch in…St. Louis, KS, Kansas State, Missouri….

    But my two Cinderella teams…..Belmont and Davidson…

    So there….make my Monday!

      These people are so silly! It’s like, the dollar isn’t worth much anymore, what should we do? Let’s just mandate that people get paid more! Presto, problem solved. Kind of like government spending is out of control. What should we do? I know, we’ll just raise taxes!

      Needless to say, if these band aid quick fixes were really solutions, we would have done them already. It’s kind of like you complain about rising energy costs and they decide all you need is a hot water blanket. Yeah that’s the ticket! Wrap your hot water heater up and all will be well. And if gas is too expensive, just get your tires inflated!

      There, we’ve saved the world, problems solved. Aren’t we smart?
