No White House Tours = No Leadership

Via Hot Air:

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform today released “No Leadership, No Responsibility, No Tours,” a new video highlighting the White House’s political gamesmanship, choosing to close the White House to school groups and visitors while responsible spending reforms, like those from non-partisan Inspectors General outlined in Oversight’s March 5 Committee report, have not been implemented.

“It’s telling that the President would rather cancel White House tours during the most popular tourist season than roll up his sleeves and get to work fixing our nation’s spending crisis.” Chairman Darrell Issa said. “Just two weeks ago, my committee released a report chronicling $67 billion in unimplemented reforms recommended by the President’s own non-partisan Inspectors General.”

As outlined in the video, the Administration has offered differing accounts of who decided to cancel tours. On March 13, 2013, President Obama said: “this was not a decision that went up to the White House.” Then later that day, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney contradicted the President admitting, “We had to cancel the tours.”

Everything that comes out of that man’s mouth is a lie, including “and” and “the”.

They’ve canceled everything that requires them to share the white house and give back to the country, like the tours and the egg roll. Their personal vacations and golf outings however, those we can still “afford.”

    Nonetheless….Happy Spring! Roll them eggs!

Hateful, nasty, petty, selfish, and spiteful. And it has blown up in their faces. This is the Obama way. And I forgot tacky.

  4. Somebody says:

They still managed to have a St. Patrick’s Day party, maybe they didn’t have SS security for it……and I got a bridge for sale!

The entire sequester is being implemented in petty ways, there will be more to come.

America Truly is the Greatest Country in the World. Don’t Let Freedom Slip Away

What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or will ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide – 98% of the vote. I’ve never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates.

We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn’t have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group — Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria. We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.

We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.

Totalitarianism didn’t come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

More and more people are noticing this and are resisting. Authoritarians come in many political stripes. Those who think it is a good idea invariable think they are going to be part of the power structure even if it is ridiculous for them to think it. Most Progs are fascists and think they are going to be part of the chosen to rule over others. They are really just tools, are being used and are disposable.

Obama’s armored limo had to be towed during trip to Israel

It may be able to stop bullets but it’s no match for regular unleaded.

President Obama’s presidential ride “The Beast” suffered a malfunction on Wednesday and had to be towed.

There are reports that the armored limo broke down because it was filled with gasoline instead of diesel.

Strange, I could have sworn that “The Beast” was the Secret Service nickname for FLOTUS.

Oh dear. Never good when Valjar is excited.

Doesn’t she have deep Iranian roots of not the particular pro-Israel sort of kind ? Phoney glee. Debbie Wasserman Schultz went along for the ride too.

Romney pointed that out many times, and why they had to beat him over the head with “Binders full of women” as some kind of scary proof about R’s “war on women”.

    • Lulu says:

Part of that is because Valjar and Michele can’t keep their jealousy and queen bee-ism under control. They pick fights and run them all off.
