There seems to be a dearth of newsworthy topics to discuss and I ain’t feeling very creative today. lazy days like today are what hammocks were invented for.
FYI: Parker the Serial Killer came home late last night. After hours of intensive questioning she still refuses to divulge her whereabouts for the past two days. I guess they never should have Mirandized her first.
The Kentucky Derby will be run in just under an hour, and the SF Giants play the Hated LA Dodgers again this evening. Ryan Vogelsong is scheduled to take the mound for San Francisco.
BEAT LA!
Check this out. One of the Chicago Pritzkers, (big Obama donors), tweeted this pic of Palin at the KY Derby
Not even rich obots are immune to her celebrity?
In the pic w. her are the dotcom billionaire Musk brothers, of PayPal & SpaceX
oh, and of TESLA Motors – so I figure they are major Obama cronies
From what I’ve seen Sarah is one of those “people person” types that is hard not to like when you meet them. Bill Clinton is another.
OTOH, Obama is a rude fucker that doesn’t really like people.
Yup, Sarah & Bill both have charisma.
And core beliefs.
And a spine.
And a conscience
If you like overrated “classics” The Wild One is playing on TCM
Its quiet here at TCH. Where is everybody?
I think they’re all celebrating Easter with Angie.
The sun came out where I live. A couple of people have turned to dust and I’ve been cleaning up the mess.
Meth or Goth?
Hey Tommy how are you doing?
I’m glad everybody else seems to be having sunshine. I live in the sunshine state and it’s been raining for DAYS. I think I may need to start building an ark.
The clouds over me are both literal and figurative, rough week….year, decade. One bright spot sort of, I found out today from my sister that because of my husband’s job he qualifies for a deep discount on cruises with most cruise lines…….Too bad I just found out and once he retires the discount ends. I think I would have rather not known! Oh well, between taking care of elderly relatives and my own child’s cancer treatment it’s not like we ever had the time or the money for such an adventure.
Speaking for myself, hubs and I went shopping, then out to dinner, then over to the books store, where Storm Troopers were waiting for us. Luckily the 4th was with us, so all we got was a cute picture of me in the arms of a Storm Trooper (see Facebook for photo).
Then we went to Trader Joe’s for the first time and I am now officially hooked for the produce and flowers alone. Picked up a Growler of super-awesome IPA and am in the process of making bread and getting drunk. This is all after my hubby shaved his entire face for the first time since I’ve known him. He looks mah-velous! Who can care about fucking politics with all that awesomeness going on? Not I, that’s for sure. I’m too busy making kissy-face and flour-y grabby hands.
I feel the vapors coming awn…

Enjoy!

The Wisdom Of Sheldon Cooper:
LOL, it’s true. Outside is great but only at certain times of the year and only for a few fleeting moments. We either fry in the sun or freeze our a$$es off.

@charlescwcooke there are no atheist in foxholes, and there are no government enthusiasts at biker rallies or hot rod shows.

Explosions in Damascus:
Did Israel bomb Syria?
from what I am reading they did it twice
fact from a snapple lid
6 year olds laugh an average of 300 times a day
adults only laugh 15 to 100 times a day
maybe we all would be better off, if we took some time every once in a while to act like a 6 year old
I always do.
