They are taking a short break. I will resume watching when the break is over. I will not be watching the Jodi Arias verdict.

Sadly, I know what the news media will be talking about tonight.

  2. HELENK says:

There are now five major takeaways from the Benghazi hearing thus far.

    1. Two “stand-down” orders were given while the Benghazi attacks were in progress.

    2. The “protest” about a YouTube video was a complete fabrication by the Obama administration.

    3. Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s lawyer at the State Department, told witnesses not to speak to House investigators.

    4. The diplomatic personnel on the ground acted with incredible, unheralded heroism.

    5. Democrats came to rebut the eyewitnesses with talking points.

The Dems are trying to set Harris, ‘best looking AG in the nation’, up for a future offices of Sen/Gov/Pres.

Ran an election that flat out lied about her boss in SF, DA Hallinan, to gain his job. Claimed he didn’t have a high enough conviction rate and then her office did worse, falsely claimed he was hiding personnel issues from the public, and exploited Friday night news cycles to perpetuate those lies among others.

On election night for state office AG, the vote counts were going for the Rep all night. Pulled a win out of thin air and was one of the last positions to post final results despite final results reported for every other office long prior. Her vote count went into the next day.

Looked very suspicious at the time. Her bro now works for Obama.

I thought Nakoula was busted on a federal rap?

        • Karma says:

          Good point.

AG Harris still reminds me of Obama but with a better resume.

        • Jadzia says:

He was busted on a federal parole violation for serious financial crimes (essentially, swindling people over the Internet) that were unrelated to, and predated, the video. That said, two of the many conditions of his probation were that he was not allowed to use the Internet and he was not allowed to use aliases, two violations that he did commit in the making and distribution of the video. (If you look at the transcript of the parole violation hearing, he could’ve gone back to jail for his dozen or so violations of the alias condition alone.) I’ve said it a million times and because my computer cord is broken and I am about to be w/o Internet access for a very long time this is the last time I’m going to say it: this guy is not a martyr.

          • myiq2xu says:

In my experience non-criminal parole violations don’t usually draw more than a wrist slap or a warning.

            We’ll miss you!

He described how, as diplomatic officials were trying to find out what happened to Stevens, they were receiving phone calls from supposed tipsters saying they knew where the ambassador was and urging Americans to come get him.

“We suspected that we were being baited into a trap,” Hicks said, adding that he did not want to send anybody into what he suspected was an “ambush.”

Getting choked up, Hicks described how the Libyan prime minister later called him to tell him Stevens was in fact dead. “I think it’s the saddest phone call I’ve ever had in my life,” he said.

Doesn’t matter who is in office… the media shouldn’t protect presidents. But there wasn’t a peep from any of the media.

ABC/CBS/NBC/MSNBC/CNN/FOX/WSJ/NYT/WASHPOST/etc/etc all enthusiastically beat the war-drums for Bush. The only news source that questioned Bush was the Knight-Ridder newspapers.

But important to note, how many of those attacks had a stand-down order?

  20. The true shame in the Far Right’s obsession with this tragedy is the effect on the families of the victims. This entire process is being instrumented as a ruse to attempt to shame Hillary Clinton and our President. Our Republican Congressmen spend their days trying to Bamboozle Obama instead of doing what they are paid for by representing their constituents. See what kind of job they’ve done applying the blackface to the POTUS at Their hands are sticking to this tar baby as the public is becoming increasing impatient with the nonsense and waste of taxpayer money.

    • myiq2xu says:

      Keep fucking that chicken!

    • Mary says:

Well, no. The FAMILIES are grateful to the Repubs for finding out what happened to their loved ones, and for not sweeping it all under the false rug of the video.

      Nice try, though. Idiot.

    • OFA out in force today. Assignment: Trolling.

    • Karma says:

Psst…psst….Reps are the opposition party. It’s not their job to hold Obama’s hand on his agenda. And by doing that they are representing their constituents.

The fact you would blame racism rather than politics only undermines Obama. Find some better arguments for Rep opposition and you will be treating Obama like any other president.

    • angienc (D) says:

But they are doing what they are paid for by representing their constituents, you fool. There are 3 branches of government for *exactly* that reason.
But of course you don’t know that because if you did you’d be too smart to be supporting Obama.

  23. HELENK says:

Dems upset that Thompson would not talk to them. what part of he does not trust you don’t you get?
and watching the actions of the dems on the committee today ,he is right

  25. lyn5 says:

The Democrats sound like disciples of a sociopath.

    • angienc (D) says:

      That’s because they are.

The only people who support Obama are the corrupt, the sociopaths, the morons or some combo of those 3.

  26. Gowdy is really connecting the dots around Hillary’s neck. Very effective.

  27. myiq2xu says:

That was a lot to digest. I’m glad I dvr’d the whole thing.

  28. HELENK says:

some good testimony today. best words at the end
the hearing is closed the investigation is not.
I want the investigation to continue until we all know the truth about what happened , why it happened and who failed to do the job they are paid to do

  29. foxyladi14 says:

I hope to hear more 🙂
