Secret Transcript: White House “Deep Background” Briefing

WTJAY CARNEY

From a confidential source*:

Jay Carney, WH Press Secretary:

But, listen, let’s review the rules. Here’s how it works. The President makes decisions. He’s the decider. The press secretary announces those decisions, and you people of the press type those decisions down. Make, announce, type. Just put ’em through a spell check and go home. Get to know your family again. Make love to your wife. Write that novel you got kicking around in your head. You know, the one about the intrepid Washington reporter with the courage to stand up to the administration? You know, fiction!

Fucking lapdogs. They are worse than useless. This media is an active threat to our freedom.

stephenfhayes: Carney: The CIA is the agency that made edits to and then produced the talking points. #Benghazi

stephenfhayes: Carney asked directly about WH role “not just in making but directing changes” to TPs. Right question, no answer. #Benghazi

michellemalkin: RT @StevieJWest: I hope Carney is wearing depends. He looks like he’s having an accident.

michellemalkin: MT @JosephHarris81 LOL Carney just cut direct ties to IRS/Conservative scandal by saying it’s an independent enforcement agency. #FACEPALM

    update
from carney now it is Romney’s fault

lets see the CIA – the Republicans

    http://weaselzippers.us/2013/05/10/huh-carney-blames-mitt-romney-for-benghazi-scandal/

    • That’s a little progress. He started off blaming a former-president for all the nation’s woes, so now it’s at least a never-president.

  6. HELENK says:

from a commenter at NO Quarter

Jodi Arias has more credibility than Jay Carney.

    • yttik says:

She’s certainly provided more transparency. Maybe is she had had an off the record briefing with the press, she wouldn’t have gotten her own cable news channel.

  7. Constance says:

Hillary seems to be laying low lately.

    • Lulu says:

I would too if I was the original intended scape goat. Blaming it on a ex-Sec of State wasn’t a big enough scapegoat. So they did the bullshit hyping of her as the obvious and oh so popular next Prezzy with the Dem whores in Congress singing her praises and the Vile Progs saying she is the “next” One. All of it was a set up and bull. Since Carney quickly went to the next scapegoat-the CIA, as the original target isn’t rising to the bait.

    I have a question.
Does this mean that the daily intel briefings that Mitt was getting near the end of the campaign were full of lies?

    OT but important, I think:

    http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/05/the-fire-the-government-has-mandated-speech-codes-on-all-campuses/#more

We just had this fight, against our government attempting to stifle the speech of those it could not control. I think you guys need to make a very loud noise, while you still can.
