Will Hillary Be The Sacrificial Lamb?

I keep seeing crap like this:

And I just have to respond.

Let’s get this straight: The Vile Progs/Obots and the media despise Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Anyone who was paying attention in the Spring of 2008 knows that. I had been a yellow-dog Democrat for over 20 years by then, and I was stunned to discover how deeply Clinton Derangement Syndrome infected the Democratic party.

It’s no secret that the GOP has hated Bill and Hillary since 1992. Anyone who was old enough to read or watch television in the Nineties knows that. The media has hated them almost as long, and that hatred was amped up when the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke. But it wasn’t until 2008 that I realized how many progressives and leaders of the Democratic party establishment hated them too.

Back in 2006 Hillary was the consensus front-runner for the 2008 Democratic nomination. But there were quite a few people in the media and Democratic leadership determined to prevent her from winning. Ted Kennedy was one of the leaders of that movement, as were Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. John Edwards was the original ABC (Anybody But Clinton) candidate but by the end of 2007 Barack Obama had assumed that mantle.

When Obama won in Iowa the media openly celebrated the defeat of Hillary’s presidential aspirations. Then she won in New Hampshire. The 2008 Democratic primary was an ugly affair, primarily because of the Obama supporters and the media. They kept proclaiming that Obama was unbeatable but Hillary kept doggedly coming back.

Here’s a little known fact: When the smoke cleared in June 2008, Hillary led Barack Obama in votes. While Obama held a slight lead in pledged delegates, that was due entirely to the Rules and Bylaws Committee ruling on May 31, 2008 that gave Obama all the uncommitted delegates and some of Hillary’s delegates from Michigan. If you didn’t know that it’s because the media didn’t report it.

Obama “won” the nomination because of the superdelegates – the Democratic party establishment. Then the delegate voting at the DNC convention was rigged so that people would not realize exactly how close it had been.

The media and the Vile Progs quit attacking Hillary when she suspended her campaign and made a deal to begin endorsing Obama. Then after the election she was paid off by being nominated as Secretary of State. As a loyal member of Obama’s Cabinet she was immune from attack by the media. But that deal would eventually prove to be her undoing.

Now Hillary is no longer Secretary of State and if somebody has to take the fall for Benghazi she is the perfect sacrificial lamb. I’m not saying that she’s innocent in this affair – she’s not. But neither is she totally to blame. Her most grievous offense was trying to cover-up for Obama. She should have just told the truth.

The media and the Vile Progs are biding their time. They are waiting to crush her presidential ambitions in 2016 when Obama’s second term is almost over because they want to destroy her without hurting him. But if Benghazi continues to blow up they will throw her under the bus to protect him.

They would rather not have to do that because they want to sweep Benghazi under the rug. But Plan B is to put it all on Hillary. The GOP might go for that – they have wanted a Clinton scalp for a long time.

If that’s what happens, Hillary has no one but herself to blame. She never should have made a deal with the Devil in the first place.

Bill and Hillary are two shrewd operators—–do you think that they will be able to fight this back?

    • Lulu says:

They would have to rat out everyone, probably implicate Hillary in all kinds of crap, in order to take them all out and that isn’t guaranteed to work. I wasn’t going to support her in 2016 anyway so I don’t really care. The Vile Progs would never support her even if she is loyal to the death for Bronco and his “legacy” of horrors. The problem for the Clintons is the Democratic party that they built is dead. Analysts say it is in steep decline but it is already gone. http://www.politico.com/story/2013/05/dem-strategist-warns-party-in-decline-91172.html She is being thrown under the bus as is the CIA. About all the Clinton’s have left is revenge and they really don’t have to be loyal to a party that Broncobama killed. I also think Bronco has supplanted the Clinton’s in Republicans hierarchy of who they love to hate with very good reason. I’m not sure that Hillary as road-bump will slow them down going for Bronco. So she might as well join the parade and turn on him. He deserves it.

      • Lulu says:

One of the things that holds people back from “turning” on someone is that they have to admit culpability in at least some of the bad stuff. It is very hard to do because the usual is to minimize or deny any part of it. I usually think of John Dean turning on Nixon. He had to admit that he was part of it, guilty as sin, come to terms with it personally and then let her rip. Do I see Hillary doing this? No. Bill? Yes. Because I think he is a better person than she is. Can he talk her into it? Maybe.

      • lyn5 says:

Honk! I’m done with both parties. Rand Paul just lost me when he called Hillary “unfit” to hold high office. I can name a lot of men who are totally unfit, and I don’t hear any male criticizing those bastards.

        • leslie says:

yes to both you and to Lulu. Bronco is total scum and sadly Hillary joined his administration for whatever reasons she had – tosave the world from bronco or to salvage her political life or both or neither. It makes little difference at this time. The Dems, the media, Vile Progs, have all had their way with her. I’m sick of them all. And Bronco continues to stink with little of the scum stickig to him.

For a look at the 2008 election process with CDS raging, read Anita Finlay’s book “Dirty Words on Clean Skin”. My copy is worn outm dogeared, highlighted and writing in the margins on half the pages.

    Great blog Klown.

I’ve given up on the Clinton’s after this last election. Why would Bill even campaign for him? Maybe they were as surprised as us that Barry won. I don’t even know what to think anymore.

    • leslie says:

honestly, I can’t name one of my Democrat friends who like either of them. I hadn’t seen CDS in the flesh until Hillary was running. It was frightening how hateful they were. And the arguments !!!!! I finally just had to say I wouldn’t talk about the election. They’d start to talk about it and I wouldn’t join in the conversation. I finally told them I wouldn’t vote for bronco if they held me at gunpoint.

  8. While I totally agree that the choices she made led her directly to this situation, I also don’t think she’s going to run. And I do have some sympathy for her choices. I don’t think she could have opted out of Obama’s administration, and I think she made a cynical choice based on an Obama promise that he would help her if she wanted to run again. If she had opted out, she’d have been attacked relentlessly by vile progs for the entire duration of his term. She may have thought it was a chance to rehabilitate her image among such people, who she erroneously judged as less than batshit crazy. And I don’t think he ever intended to follow through on any promises he likely made. She was stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place.

But now the dream is gone and she knows it. She’s smart enough to know exactly how the Obama machine works, and how the media machine works. So I highly doubt she’ll run. Why step into a mouse trap if you know it’s a mouse trap? She’ll take her shred of dignity and flee, and make her money while she can. I don’t blame her for that. In her shoes, I wouldn’t run either and I’d let the country suffer as it so richly deserves to.

    • leslie says:

I agree that bronco probably led her to think the WH woudl be open to her in the future, and that he’d support her. But you and I know that bronco lies – ALL the time. He means nothing he says, and everything he does is to benefit bronco.
That said, I hope you are correct and that Hillary does not run for anything in the future. She has been a sitting target for such a long time. She deserves to gather whatever accolades come her way in dignity, do the work she cares to do for whatever groups she cares the most about, and enjoy the rest of her life without the craziness that has hounded her.

    • lyn5 says:

Honk! I also like how she is staying out of the current Benghazi witch hunt. Let Obama and his minions deal with it; they deserve whatever hell comes their way.

    • fif says:

I’m with you on this one Lola. It’s amazing how Obama is the source of so much toxicity and he never gets tainted by any of it in any substantial way. I am waiting for the karma to hit.

    • Constance says:

The Democrats who crapped on Hillary in 2008 have more power now than they did in 2008 and they are not going to let Hillary take the nomination in 2016. The only reason they are fanning around the “Hillary is invincible in 2016” story is because they used sexism to take her out in 2008 and they are trying to cleanse themselves of looking like sexist pigs since they alienated Independents and intelligent women Democrats with their behavior. Hillary is a politician. Her response to Benghazi was calculated and her silence now is calculated. I don’t see her laying down in front of Obama’s bus.

Considering the risk that went in to covering up Benghazi I have a very hard time believing it was a simple terrorist attack. The men carrying out the attack that I have seen pictures of don’t look like rag tag terrorists, they look like well fed, well trained, well equipped, professional warriors. It might have been a state sponsored attack by possibly Egypt. Whoever it was it didn’t fit the Obama narrative but most of Obama’s followers and the media are so stupid that the Obama administration isn’t used to creating complex believable narratives and their pile of typically flimsy Benghazi BS is falling apart and never sold to anyone with half a brain.

I don’t really care anymore about whose career gets destroyed in this investigation. My give a damn’s busted.

    • Constance says:

Still it is the best entertainment on TV with promise of many juicy episodes to come if we could just count on a media group with the nads to report reality.

    • swanspirit says:

I am with you votermom . I am weary of worrying about what will happen to Hillary , and I never did give a damn about what would happen to Bronco . I am worried about what is happening to the people , and this country . If Hillary goes down , so be it . She should have cared more about what was happening to her “friend” in Libya , well before the anniversary of 9/11 .

Total Democrat War on Women and I hope the Republicans push that narrative.

      • myiq2xu says:

It’s not so much a war on women as it is using women to clear mine fields by marching across them.

        • Constance says:

That visual works for me too. It’s very clear Democrats aren’t working to build the careers of any women for nomination to President. But Democrat women are so proficient at making excuses for men that it might the best use of them. Sad to say.

As much as I saw the CDS during Bill’s term, I think many Republicans gave some benefit of the doubt to Hillary in 2008…. and quite frankly, the way she ‘lost’ the 2008 primary, with interminable force to the end, holding her head up high, punching as she went down – won a lot of praise from Republicans. I live in Republican Country, and they respect Hillary – they may not agree with her, but she proved beyond a shadow of a doubt she his her own version on an Iron Lady. Had she become President, I feel she would have actually brought both sides on their knees together (boy, could we have used that!). The Far Left would despise her as a sell-out, and the far right would still criticize her – but all would respect (and maybe fear) her. She earned it during 2008.

She was a good solider as SOS, that just helped to make her more teflon for the future.

    Then Benghazi.

She let the Administration steamroll her (maybe she f*cked up?) into those talking points, when clearly she did not exactly agree (or she would’ve been on TV instead of Rice)… she muttered the words for the civilians family, etc… but she was cagey all along in my book – probably deciding which way she would have to go (probably waiting out the election).

They should’ve come clean from the beginning, but that would’ve probably cost Obama the election… maybe, maybe not.

… but now her legacy is tragically marred… and all that CDS that she had concreted over with Repubs has cracked back open to the surface – because they can see that she didn’t tell the truth, and that she wasn’t Iron Lady enough to stand up to Obama – and that lost her much of the respect she had rightly earned.

    She has three options:

    – Hope the media can bury this enough that in two years the criticism will not be enough to derail her candidacy.

    – Explain it all. The Truth. Why she went along with it (good soldier to the Administration, Taking Orders, etc). Expose the administration for the Fun House of Mirrors (with all the distorted views) it really is.

    – Don’t run in 2016. It’s over. You chose poorly. It sucks.

These are just my opinions…. but I’m open to interpretations.
