Talk about something else?? My hubby called me at work, wanted to know when I was coming home. He whines, “there’s like 30 girls in our bathroom and I don’t know what to do!” Hmm, did somebody ask if they could have some friends over and you just mumbled yes because you were busy watching the baseball game??

    What an amateur. 🙂

This song is about God, but just subtle enough that some anti-religious singers covered it.

  5. OMG, is there a more transparently stupid, entitled woman in media today? Toure’s female alter ego.

We could be talking about whether accessing and monitoring citizen information and communications is constitutional, or whether we should continue to allow a secret court to authorize secret warrants using secret legal opinions.

But we’re not. We’re talking about you! And flight paths between Moscow and Venezuela, and how much of a jerk Glenn Greenwald is. We could at least be talking about whether the Obama administration is right that your leak jeopardized national security. But we’re not talking about that, Ed.

We’re talking about you. I can imagine you’d say, “Well, then stop! Just talk about something else.” But here’s the problem, even if your initial leak didn’t compromise national security, your new cloak-and-dagger game is having real and tangible geopolitical consequences. So, well, we have to talk about…you.

That reminds me of when the media WANTED to talk about Ben Ghazi but then Mitt Romney opened his mouth so they HAD to talk about him instead.

So VastLeft just blocked me on Twitter, because I called him on his BS strawman that we were all “YAAAY, we are so GLAD Trayvon is dead! Yay dead kids!”

It’s ridiculous. I’m seeing freak out over “so now it’s just ok to shoot black kids who are commiting no crime.”

Um, no. Unless that balck kid is on top of you pounding your head into a sidewalk. Then it’s legal, but you will still get your life torn apart and death threats and called a raging killer bigot and stuff (even if your entire life has exhibited no racial animosity ever.)

To be fair, these are the same people who think someone is an American citizen because they crossed the border illegally and got a job with a fake Social Security number.

Teams have good years and bad years. I have come to a tentative hypothesis that this is not going to one of the good ones.

I stopped watching the games to see if that improves the Giants’ performance. It’s already improved my health.

Honey and I watched the remake of True Grit tonight and found it top rate. ‘Course, I was likin’ it from the start because the theme music was a tune I use to warm up with before mic checks every Sunday morning. Those Coen boys are gooooood!
