The SF Giants playoff hopes are officially dead.

They were struggling all season but yesterday they went to the White House and shook hands with Obama. That’s the coupe-de-Barry.

It’s time to bring the young guys up from Fresno and get them some experience and trade a few veterans away for future prospects.

My new favorite is the theme song (by Regina Spektor) for the Netflix original series “Orange is the New Black.”

Well I’m back! We had cake and ice cream for Thomas’ 6th birthday. I played Pull My Finger and Guess Which Hand The Money Is In with my grandsons.

I got them loaded up on sugar and wound up like garage door overhead springs before I left. They were literally bouncing off the walls.

The best part about being a grandparent is taking revenge on your kids.

my one great grandson was 5 on july 22, the oldest great grandson will be 6 on august 5. watching kids grow and learn is just so much fun. my oldest daughter’s two kids did to her what she and her sister did to me. both made me a grandmother in the same year.
It is much better being a grandparent, you do not have to be the one to say no

LOL, well that is sometimes fun…..but grandkids are just fun too.

We had somewhat similar nights. Tomorrow is my granddaughter’s birthday, she will be 3. However her mom and dad just found out her baby sister will be coming home from the hospital tomorrow! So we rushed to have a little birthday celebration this evening, which was at our house.

I whipped out from scratch strawberry cupcakes and wrapped gifts in under an hour! Thankfully we went out for actual dinner, we just had dessert and opened gifts here.

Oh and the grandbaby had a couple of cupcakes and chased them down with chocolate milk, LOL! She went home with lots of new toys and a plate full of cupcakes.

Interesting this is on TPM, the same people who loved Weiner pre-scandal. I guess he’s now persona non-grata in the Obama inner circle.

      • True enough, though he is pretty much undoing that whole war-on-women meme. Reynolds had a lame editorial on it in USA Today earlier, including Filner, Spitzer, and Weiner, but he didn’t go far enough. Pretty much fudged it because, hey, adult women prostitutin’ themselves is something he has no qualms with. Still, 50 shades of things to come, I think.

It looks like the era of White guilt is really over for Bill O’Reilly. Race hustlers went after the most watched news opinion show in the country and O’Reilly has now turned his program into a forum on why the Democrats and their allies have no answers.

Now, Bill knows how to get ratings and some of the things he does are for affect, but if he’s going to war, he goes to war. He drove the adoption of Jessica’s Law state by state when Congress refused to pass a federal law.
