Ya know, come to think of it, that TP problem always seems to crop up with central planning. What is it with the toilet paper? I mean, why is it always that?
~Charles Bukowski
LOL!
Seemed fitting.
Don’t ever buy John Wayne toilet paper. It’s rough, it’s tough, and it don’t take shit off anybody.

How are these pictures so good? They are professional grade magazine photos of a crisis unfolding, supposedly in real time. Did a professional photographer with an excellent camera just happen to be on the grounds? And honestly, why is a baby and a toddler wearing a shirt made of the exact same fabric? I suppose they could be sisters, but it is weird. There’s just something very pat about these pictures… Maybe I’m paranoid, but I don’t trust anything anymore. It all feels like a bit like The Truman Show…
Nairobi has lots of paparazzi roaming around to photograph all the stars.
I trust them. Modern digital cameras give amazingly clear results, so much so they can blow pix up and crop them down big time using just small snippets and still publish good looking full size appearing photos, so could well be authentic.
Decades ago my job was to respond to major blood and guts crime scenes and these photos all seem consistent with what I’ve seen in the past.
Not that I blame you for being skeptical.
Good catch. Some of the same scenes but from slightly different angles and not taken with as good a lens as the first batch shown.
That cameraman deserves an award. I wouldn’t have run INTO that mall.
Okay, that explains it.
BTW, if you ever run into a lefty screaming about Citizens United being C.U.N.T., that nasty anti-Hillary misogynist group, it is NOT the same group. Totally different people, different organization.
Citizens United has been around since 1998, and whether you agree w/them or not, are a “normal” political and policy advocacy group w/a libertarian bent.
The other group, Citizens United Not Divided is akin to the Westboro Baptist freaks. Pure scumbags. They deliberately picked a similar name to try to piggyback on the better reputation of CU.
Citizens United Not Timid was founded by Roger Stone in 2008.
Yeah, I meant not timid, not not divided. Oops. I keep having vile progs insisting that the CU of the SCOTUS case is the one with the vile misogynist name and posters. Nope.
Yet more religion of peace:
Every couple of months I go to the hysterical side to check out what the Big Orange is obsessing over currently. “The Obamacare” is a main topic of kvetching with the congressional wrangling going on. The current “OMG!!!!” topics and comments (yes some admit they have been imbibing but that is what makes it less propaganda-ish) are a window into the Obama-cult’s soul. The themes are as follows:
1. No one mentions money. The costs to them and taxpayers is ignored. I don’t think the word “premium” was mentioned even once. Signing up for insurance on parents coverage is good because it is “free” although one guy was not happy that he would only get coverage for 10 months because he is 25 years 2 months old. If his parents premium cost is jacked up is not mentioned.
2. All you have to do is go online and answer some questions. There was some discussion that crazy or illiterate people may have some trouble with that. They were outraged that “navigators” are not going to crazy or illiterate people’s houses to fill out online forms for them (I guess the states are required to have a map of all crazy or illiterate people who live there). And Texas and Florida are trying to stop “navigators” who have no training or vetting from invading peoples privacy to obtain financial and health information to sign them up for stuff for which they cannot tell them the cost. These states are racist.
3. The media did not do their job of selling Obamacare. A person named Chuck Todd is evil because he said it was not the media’s job to sell it. Obviously it is because they sold Obama to the public so why not Obamacare. The media is elitist and racist for not doing their job.
4. People who oppose Obamacare are ignorant. Polling shows that a high percentage of people who oppose it don’t understand it. If they only knew more they would like it. Ooops. Polling shows that a higher percentage of people who approve it don’t understand it than people who oppose it. Funny how that works.
5. The President must sell Obamacare more better. But his brain is so big that explaining things is hard for him so we must just trust him. Time has been wasted for the past 3-4 years but The President still has 8 days which is plenty of time.
6. No one in these discussions mentions employment related health insurance. It is not clear if no one has it or no one works or both. It doesn’t exist or is not important since no one on Big Orange has it or lost it or has had their work hours cut to avoid it.
7. It is the Republicans fault. They didn’t write the legislation or vote for enactment, they weren’t responsible for implementation, they have not made “infomercials” explaining it to crazy or illiterate persons running on cable television in the middle of the night explaining it to people, and evil Republican states refused to sign up for state exchanges because……..racist. If the Republicans had only done the grunt work because Obama was busy with the economy.
Consider this my public service effort for this year so you don’t have to wade through this much stupid.
Thanks for taking the hit so we don’t have to.
I still think of the day after Election Day 2012, waiting at McDonald’s for my breakfast sandwich. A couple of the employees were talking about Romney and one of the many false stories, this one being that Romney was going to “get rid of Medicare.” These people are the reason why I don’t think cheating at the ballot box was a prevalent as others do.
Not surprisingly, those same workers probably had their hours cut in the last 6 months and Obamacare is what cut Medicare. Still, anyone who thinks Obama isn’t going to delay the individual mandate isn’t seeing the long game. In the next year, the White House will certainly instruct the IRS not to fine anyone for non-coverage because the IRS does Obama’s bidding. This will happen the moment it becomes necessary to affect the 2014 midterm elections.
A few weeks ago, there was a DK post that was very critical of Teh Won, wish I saved it now because it was so over the top critical I thought it could have been a bad attempt at satire ? It showed up on some conservative blogs as “is the tide turning at the Big Cheeto” ?
I think it was a gotcha, probably brought many hits knowing the righty bloggers love this sh*t .
Every once in a while, a DK poster breaks from the group think. That’s why so many PUMAs were blacklisted from there.
