Somewhere Out There, Bill Buckner is Smiling

This could easily be the craziest and most-controversial finish to any World Series game ever. Cards lead the Bosox 2 games to 1 with Game 4 playing Sunday night.

Now Cruz is asked about the Cheney shooting incident, just because he hunts too ?

I don’t recall junior Senator Obama being asked anything controversial before he ran. Or did anything for that matter. He gave a speech I hear 😉

    • leslie says:

At townhall meetings in 2006, he refused to answer controversial questions saying either, “I didn’t come here to talk about that.” And, “I’m just a freshman senator and no one listens to freshman senators, so I’m not going to respond to your question.”

Funny SNL cold opening last night ….though I disagree with bizpac about SNL never having drunk the kool aid ……

Definitely, they’re Obots from way back. But when SNL picks something up, you know it’s bad….and it’s a good educational tool for people who don’t pay attention to the news.

From Obama’s point of view, the only people who matter are the insurance companies. If it succeeds in making the insurance companies richer, then that is the only success Obama needs because that is the only success he cared about. By making the insurance companies richer “now”, he expects they will make him richer “later”, after he leaves office. The only way he would consider it a failure is if the law fails so fast the insurance companies don’t get richer the way he planned. Then they won’t make him richer in return.
That would make him very sad.

I have trouble understanding why anyone would consider Wall Street’s OverClass front man to be “leftist” in any way.

I remember talking to a woman from Communist Hungary years ago and her telling me how the state restricted travel.
between state and federal gas taxes and now this seems like a travel restriction to me

“I told my team it doesn’t matter. There are 750 million people in China who don’t even know this game was played. The next day, a guy called me from China and asked, ‘What happened, Coach?'”
