“Accidental suicide” and assassination seems to make “role models” even bigger than life after death. To wit, John Lennon and Cory Monteith come to mind 😦

Speaking of really bad role models:

  4. crap – that embedded in the wrong place.

But let’s all wish ValJar a happy BD anyway. I am sure the Obama’s have their own checkbook in hand to pay the tab….. (cough)

  5. It’s an interesting idea. Is someone’s talent a “waste” if they were only able to give a few (wonderful) CDs before passing on?

    MSNBC hits a new low:

    • lyn says:

Bashir is a racist and sexist pig, and he has shit for brains.

    • elliesmom says:

Look! Sarah Palin used the word slavery! Doesn’t she know as a Republican she has no right to use that word? It’s on the list of words she can’t use. Dumb broad.

      • DandyTIger says:

Exactly. Republican’s can’t talk about slavery because they freed the slaves. Only Democrats that maintained and enhanced slavery, jim crow, segregation, etc. can talk about it. Somehow that makes sense, but I can’t figure it out.

    • swanspirit says:

Bashir seems a bit obsessed with bodily excretions ,perhaps he has a fetish that is on the sadistic side . That is one of the worst examples of misogyny I have ever seen . That is so bad , and I am sure he his not consciously aware of what he has revealed about himself , and his feelings toward women .

    • 1539days says:

Why is Bashir famous again? Oh, right. He kissed Michael Jackson’s ass to do a documentary, edited it to make Jackson look evil*, and then was shown for the liar he was by Jackson’s own videotape of Bashir.

*not an endorsement of Michael Jackson.

we have come a long way from Robert Mitchum going to jail for possessing pot

Hollywood covered up a lot of things. not to sure that was a bad thing. they did take the role model idea more seriously then
    Same way with sports

  8. DeniseVB says:

Oh this is funny…. from January 2010, looks like they thought Obamacare was going to “die” after Scott Brown was elected to the Senate. Still, almost 4 years later…. priceless 😀

  9. The Klown says:

If Obama were a Republican he wouldn’t be “black”, he would be “bi-racial” or “half-white” and his Kenyan-American ancestry would not qualify as authentic African-American. The media would focus on his white ancestry, lack of experience, unsavory friends, admissions of drug use and verbal gaffes. We also would have heard lots of details about all the white women he dated.

The media would hound him about his college transcripts too.

so far there have been 27 changes to obamacare

  11. underwhelmed says:

Tyranny is whimsical, because it has to be. The ability to arbitrarily reward and punish select groups is crucial to the Ruling Class grip on power. The shocked and frightened people losing their insurance policies to ObamaCare didn’t do anything wrong. They believed Obama’s often-repeated promises that participation in his health-care scheme would be voluntary – they could keep their existing plans if they preferred. They would never have agreed to the plan if they knew the truth, so they were lied to, by a political Party that believes it has the right and duty to tell that kind of lie, because the ignorant masses must be forced to do certain things for the greater good.

Every time I think I can’t despise the vile progs any harder, they show me I’m wrong. Can you imagine what would be happening today had Bush done this?

I am just catching up with the threads. I spent the last four days being filled with IV drugs to make my heart do what my cardiologist wants it to do. As the only patient in a fancy PCU (progressive care unit) with nurses coming out of my ears, I watched a lot of tv news and listened to a bunch of medical staff and their terror over Obamacare. While they understand what the nuts and bolts effects will probably be, their understanding of the political goals of Vile Progs were appalling. Much of the learned ignorance depended upon social demographics and what they have been conditioned to hear and think. Black nurses still believe in Obama even if it means their careers are harmed. The cognitive dissonance for them is very painful and I feel for them. Hispanics are confused. Asians hate his guts. Whites think he is evil incarnate and power mad. Every last one of them thinks it is going to harm patients and them as workers.

I did not have enough energy to proselytize. So I asked a few simple questions and listened. If this is playing out in every hospital, clinic, doctors office, lab, and health insurance office, the Democrats have a very big problem that cannot be fixed in the near term. They are essentially finished as a national political party because they are liars and incompetent authoritarians. The Dems created chaos on purpose with malicious intent. The White House knew this was going to happen. I think Pelosi and Reid and their mobs of assholes knew also. I do not think ALL of the Dems knew and many believed the hype without bothering to understand anything. Lazy, crooked and stupid should not be the primary attribute of a congresscritter. But they ALL need to go. Every blasted one of them. And they know Bronco has left them hanging in the wind.
