It’s not that people will not admit to liking them — it’s just that our teenage selfs grew up & we don’t like these songs any more/can’t believe we *used* to like them. But back in the day I was doing the best 80s bop (with legs kicks, etc) you’ve ever seen when this song came on:

I’m watching Magic Mike right now on HBO. I’m not sure if it’s a chick flick or softcore gay porn.

    • The Klown says:

      A little of both probably.

      • Somebody says:

I talked my husband into watching Magic Mike with me, but he didn’t last through the movie he went into the bedroom and watched something on the other TV.

    • Constance says:

It’s obviously a straight men’s fantasy. You know, sort of like Victoria’s Secret ads are supposed to be “aspirational” women’s fantasy. So Magic Mike is for straight men wishing to take their place in women’s fantasy. You know like women don’t have their own sexual fantasies they just dream about assuming their position in men’s sexual fantasies (using sarcasm font).

when my husband was bartending, a young lady who was mute used to come in to the bar. when ever this song would play she would get up and start stripping. He would just get her off the floor and back in her seat and calmed down when somebody would play the song on the juke box again. Can i tell you my husband hated this song.

    • Somebody says:

Oh geez what about Captain and Tennille Muskrat Love

      • DandyTIger says:

Yep. Well, really most of their songs. I have to admit I liked them as a kid. Now they’re very, very silly. Believe it or not, they’re in their 70s and still together.

      • Constance says:

That’s the song I immediately thought of when I first saw this post. Muskrat Love is a catchy tune, It used to always be on the radio as I drove to college.

  6. The Klown says:

I just watched Argo. Apparently Bryan Cranston is in every movie now. I’m not complaining, just making an observation.

  7. helenk3 says:

just watched from netflix killing season with Robert DeNiro and John Travolta. what a hell of a movie. good acting

  8. The Klown says:

Pro tip: If you are being chased by bad guys don’t shoot at their windshield, bust a couple caps in their radiator. A car with a hole in the radiator won’t be chasing you for long.
