  1. The Klown says:

He’s officially late. Surprise, surprise, surprise!

  2. lyn says:

The only Obama speech that I will listen to is when he resigns because of his lies, corruption and incompetency.

  3. The Klown says:

    Okay, who had 11:46?

  4. The Klown says:

I’ve seen enough. Changing the channel.

  5. helenk3 says:

changed the channel and now I am watching elder skelder about elderly people who commit deadly crimes

Worst. Insurance. Salesman. In. The. Worrrrrrrld. 😛

  8. The Klown says:

Fox cut away from his speech. CNN never showed it. Only MSNBC has it now.

    • votermom says:

Sounds like a great GOP ad.

    • Constance says:

BUT do we have to enforce it or could we simply ignore it?

      • DeniseVB says:

Remember, Prohibition was once law of the land too. All Ocare’s going to do is encourage back alley appendectomies with coat hangers now. I keed.

We still have the military Tricare and they notified us in 2010 about premiums, copays and deductibles going up to “fit” the requirements of the “new law”. It was just a few dollars, but ever the pessimist, my husbands waits for the other shoe to drop. I’m just thankful we haven’t been a) dropped b) paying thousands more.

    • r u reddy says:

A Republican President with Republican majorities won’t repeal it either. They will change parts of it around, but they will retain the individual mandate.

      • DandyTIger says:

I think the establishment of both parties and their insurance company partners like the bill and would like to keep it. But if it’s as bad as it seems to be, either side, after Obama, will need to change it or replace it.

        • r u reddy says:

I fear change for the worse. Keep the forced mandate. Maybe cancel the exchanges and allow a pure sellers market for purely individual plans. But make sure we are forced to buy those plans.
Retain all the Obama incentives for employERS to cancel insurance for their employEES. Maybe privatise and voucherise medicaide and medicare both. If the coming Republican majority tries to privatise the VA Hospitals and/or Tri-Care, they may get stopped by veterans and service/retired-service members themselves. (Though I could imagine the Catfood Democrats attempting to privatise VA-care and Tri-Care in honor of Obamacare. Could they get just enough Republicans to get such a thing passed? If so, would a Republican President sign it?)

    • angienc says:

Romney right again: if you want to get rid of Obamacare, you have to get rid of Pres. Obama.

Fuck every single person who voted for Obama, voted 3rd party, stayed home or spent even one second during the GE criticizing Romney instead of Obama (not that I don’t think Obama wouldn’t have found those 340,000 votes to “win” in FL, OH, VA & NH anyway, mind you).

  10. kanaughty says:

this speech is just stupid. he is just reselling this thing, not at all apologetic about screwing millions of people who had it for those that didn’t have health insurance already. he loaded this audience with obamabots. they are all agreeing. this isn’t a press conference asking him tough questions. this is pure propoganda.

  11. Lulu says:

“They are hoping for health care to fail.” he says. Passive-aggressive Obama is planning a public appearance to pimp Obamacare everyday this month. It will be a big joke in three days and he will give it up. And ValJar was sitting on the front row supervising him.

  12. kanaughty says:

what a waste of air time. this is just a long ad for obamacare. he is the worst president in my lifetime.

  13. The Klown says:
    • kanaughty says:

yeah but these were for sure all allies of the law. these audience people and the people behind him were surely vetted. that standing ovation was pure propoganda. but the media won’t see that it wasn’t at all a room of anyone who doesn’t agree with the law.

      • Lulu says:

I can’t help but think that it is civil servants who are being punished for some reason. Agency managers in DC saying things like “Send Melvin. No one will miss him and he’s an idiot. And remind him to take his narcolepsy meds.”

  14. kanaughty says:

i do hope the numbers continue to be low so that this law dies.and the ironic part will be it will die because youngens who voted for him won’t sign up because it doesn’t make sense for them to sign up because it is too expensive. death spiral because of his own voters…

  15. Just listened on radio. When did the WH get an applause track?

  17. mcnorman says:

You just watch and see if the next speech isn’t done within the QVC shopping network.

  18. It was the massive underground water surge from the simultaneous flushing that first alarmed environmentalists.

  19. The Klown says:

I honestly thought he was gonna announce something new, like another executive order granting an exemption or extension. Maybe even the “resignation” of one of his lackeys.

    Nada, zip, zilch, bupkis.

  20. foxyladi14 says:

    Hope and change. 😆

  22. The Klown says:

Obama is so bad he makes me miss George W. Bush, and I despise Dubya.

  23. Constance says:

    Tinkerbell, clap if you believe….

  24. Just bombarded with this email during the speech:

    Friends —

President Obama just delivered this message to House Republicans from the White House: We’re not going back. We’re not repealing the Affordable Care Act. Period. (We couldn’t agree more.)

Right now, John Boehner and his Republican attack dogs are trying to bring down the law by searching for a handful of anti-Obamacare stories to screech about.

We know for every one of their stories, there are a hundred stories about how repealing reform would hurt Americans who are counting on the Affordable Care Act. You might even have your own. Maybe you have a child with a preexisting condition who can finally get affordable coverage, or maybe you received a health care rebate. There are so many ways the Affordable Care Act is helping people across the country and we think you might be one of them:

Click here to tell us your story — how would a Republican Obamacare repeal hurt you?

We can’t let a few Obamacare skeptics ruin health care reform for millions of Americans. Let’s overwhelm John Boehner with the stories of how repealing the Affordable Care Act would affect real Americans:

    • It’s gonna be a hoot when it finally comes out 404 has been the benefactor of a long undiscovered typo. Years ago some scientist considered him a separate sub-species but accidentally added an “i” to his descriptive term and ever since them people misunderstood and thought he was smart, not unique.

  26. Mary says:

Announced on Megyn Kelly show: Obama administration has quietly told insurance companies—-since the back-end of website hasn’t been created where info/payments are made to the companies for enrollees—–to just ESTIMATE how much they are owed and the government will send them a check.

backtrack is a pathological liar. he lies when it not necessary to lie.

claims he never met illegal alien uncle.
