Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Amazing Video Edition

I don’t normally watch Wheel of Fortune but I caught the end of the show last night. This was incredible.

I thought at first it was a spoof or a photoshop but no, Don Lemon of CNN actually hosted a panel discussion of whether MF 370 was swallowed by a black hole.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul visited the People’s Republic of Berkeley where he gave a well-received speech followed by some Q&A, and the world did not end.

That’s all for now, see y’all in the morning. This is an open thread.

A year ago, Bell was begging people for money to make her “Veronica Mars” movie. She didn’t mind taking $50 from poor people in return for a $20 DVD of the movie.

Scotland and Venice are historically separate and never got over being rolled into a bigger country without their consent. What the people see as misgovernment really doesn’t help. Crimea is a little different but some of the same issues are bubbling up. The tyranny of the majority is at play.

Fred Phelps has died. I hope that every gay and military organization in the country sends loads of lovely flowers with expressions of sympathy for his family. Just to show how much **better** they are as human beings than he ever was. This is a perfect “heaping coals” moment.

“Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.”
