Even E! gets the headline wrong, but this one has the transcript for those who can’t watch the video now…….yes, “Obama” makes an brief appearance in the sketch too 🙂
This really works well… Yeah, she’s so dumb she can’t even pull off a simple skit with timing and everything… Oh wait – It’s a pretty complicated skit when you tear it apart.
If she gets more of these opportunities, she just might be able to change the media meme…. Maybe…. Someday…
Kudos to her for having the smarts to do it… And kudos to Jimmy for realizing the slice of audience he has alienated in the past that he should reach out and repair (although you’re not fooling me – I’m still not tunin’ in).
Keep in mind, The Tonight Show is NBC’s biggest moneymaker. IMHO, I think they were testing the water since Sarah wasn’t on the schedule and Jimmy’s sketch video clips all go viral, this may be his biggest yet.

Heh.
At least a year ago it reached the point where anything said by the Commission of Arabic Islamist Reeducators was an automatic lie. Kudos for Kelly taking on the cowards.
CAIR’s only goal is to bring Sharia Law here. Pam Gellar’s another brave lady who has been blogging (Atlas Shrugs) about it for years. I don’t think she’s ever been wrong, but the left scoffs her off as a wing-nut. It’s where I learned why the “Good” Muslims don’t denounce the radical wing…..they’d be killed. You know, that Honor Killing thing, it’s okay, nothing to see here, move along……
Sarah gets them every time. She makes both sides crazy. I want her to keep on doing so. She wakes up the public and that scares the hell out of politicians, and she does it with a smile and grace.
In fairness, though, this is Connecticut. Anybody in CT actually able to think for themselves always poses a threat to the wellbeing of the herd, and must be silenced. Very politely, of course.
I started really wondering what was being taught in colleges during the viet nam war. my neighbor’s kid went to Temple. he had a scholarship to the college of his choice and Temple was close to home. one professor there told his classes that if they went to the march in DC against the war, he would give them an A for the class. I thought what contempt he had for his students thinking how cheap they could be bought. If you believe in something go lead the parade, but never sell yourself so cheaply. My neighbor’s kid left the college and joined the service and went to viet nam.
Teachers are interesting. Some are great. Some are weird. Some are evil. The trick is figuring out which is which. My favorite gave up teaching after dealing with me for two years.
I went to college at Ohio University, a sister school to Kent State, from 1964-68….right in the heat of things. Worked hard for Bobbie Kennedy and participated in many of the protests rallies and marches against the Viet Nam War. A professor that I had for an English Literature class left in the middle of a semester in my junior year to join one of those ships taking medical supplies into Viet Nam. It was a very anti-war sentiment at the time. However, in retrospect I also vividly remember most of my fellow students having no idea what the war was about and looking forward to rallies and riots so they could tear up the brick streets of Athens, OH and hurl them thru local shop windows. It was an odd time. I joined the Peace Corps in 1968 ( I had a very high draft number and would not have been drafted…there was a draft lottery in those days) and went to Liberia, West Africa (and lived in the heart of the area where the Ebola virus has now broken out).
My first thought was the People’s Republic of Maryland where faithful progs freak out at the mere thought that anyone would disagree. Afterall, we arrest people for having a not so great opinion of common core.
Reminds me that I read Hate Chicken (Chik-Fil-A) just surpassed KFC in sales with about half the stores nationwide. With hopes Hobby Lobby (which I never heard of before because it’s not in our region) suffers the same “punishment” 😀
Koch Development is bringing an AWESOME Ferris Wheel to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. This is crazy – old man gets outpatient dialysis every 3 days – gets too sick to make his appointment – winds up in the ER the next day.
Obamacare rules say the hospital can’t give him dialysis until after he’s been in the hospital for 2 nights.
Simply put: Frank Alfisi could not be admitted to the hospital because he needed dialysis. Dialysis does not require a “two midnight” stay in the hospital. So, therefore, Frank would not be admitted as an in-patient and given dialysis. And since the lack of dialysis — which was deliberate per the Obamacare directive to the CMS — had now made Frank so sick that it resulted in two seizures and unconsciousness, a need for oxygen and a wheelchair, Frank certainly was no longer qualified to be an outpatient at DaVita.
For Frank the centuries old idea of medicine — that a patient’s treatment is a decision between the patient and his or her doctor and that the first responsibility of a doctor is the famous dictum “First, do no harm” — was overridden. Overridden by the demands of Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act. The demands not of medicine but of politics. Bureaucracy.
No patient is admitted to the hospital anymore as an inpatient. Period. EVERYONE, doesn’t matter if you are literally dying, is admitted as an “observation”, which is technically an outpatient.
The govt did this because the rate for an observation stay is cheaper than the rate for an inpatient admission. So Medicare pays out less. You are not an inpatient until your stay passes two midnights, and you meet various qualifications. Problem is, that prior to those 2 midnights passing, you may need certain tests or, oh I dunno, dialysis. Ah, but here’s the Catch-22: some things are not qualified as an outpatient procedure. They are only paid if done on an inpatient. And since NO ONE is an inpatient until they pass 2 midnights, then the docs and hospital have to make the choice to either provide care that they know damn well they won’t get paid for, or try to wait until the 2 midnights pass.
It looks like in this case, they were trying to wait. And it bit them (and the patient) in the ass. The entire Medicare system has changed over the past 6 years. It is a DELIBERATE attempt to avoid treatment /avoid payment, and force doctors to choose between actually getting paid and taking good care of their patients. Most docs (because they are human, and frustrated) are going to try to meet the govt requirements. And yes, patients will die, or suffer.
Basically, but the thing is that when patients get hurt, that’s “no excuse.” IOW, the doc is still legally and medically responsible for his or her actions, regardless of what the govt guideline is. CMS is not going to back up the doc if he gets sued. They want the doc to take on all the liability for THEIR decisions. They want to kill people with clean hands. After the fact, it’s always “well, whether or not we pay has nothing to do with medical decisions. That’s all on the doc.”
They leverage and coerce their preferred medical decisions, but deny all the while that THEY are making any medical decisions whatsoever.
Oh, and the govt scams you in the reverse situation, too. They will not pay for something that is considered an “outpatient procedure” while you are an inpatient. So lets say that you are a dialysis patient admitted to the hospital for a heart attack. While you are there, your AV graft (the special vein they make for dialysis) fails, and you need a new one. Well, you can’t have one. Because an AV graft is classified as an outpatient procedure, and you can’t have an outpatient procedure once you’re an inpatient. You have to get discharged, and go to an outpatient facility to have it done. Then get re-admitted. Of course, that may take weeks. And your doc knows damn well that you might die if you have to wait that long.
So your doc has a choice: throw a fit and get you the AV graft anyway, in which case he gets in trouble, the hospital gives him grief, and no one involved, from him to the hospital to the OR gets paid for doing it. Or he can follow the Medicare regs and watch his patient get sicker.
Oh, and to top it all off? He can still get sued for NOT doing the damn graft in a timely manner, whether he was going to get paid or not. And saying “but the govt told me I couldn’t, and refused to pay, and would ding me and reduce my future payments on every damn Medicare patient I treat, because I failed to meet their standards” is NOT a defense in a lawsuit. The doc has to take the hit either way, which ever decision he makes. If he does what’s best for his patient regardless of the Medicare rules, he gets called on the carpet and loses future income for being “noncompliant”.
And people wonder why good docs are quitting in droves? This is why.
When my husband had his rotator cuff repaired, it was considered an outpatient procedure by Tricare For Life (a retired military form of medicare, right?). My husband is a big baby and no way I wanted to take him home the same day, the surgeon agreed he was a whiny ass, so he jotted down “running a fever at discharge hour, keep overnight for observation and monitoring”. Yay !
Apparently all the “communications consultants” in the world are too stupid to realize attempts to “shape” a message result in mass assumptions reality is much, much worse. They’d be better served saying “it is what it is”.

Great job by both. Nice promo for her show too. Thought I heard a mixed audience reaction at the beginning. Poor little children.
It’s gone viral since midnight when it was posted … over 100k views so far.
It’s awesome. The progs must be foaming at the mouth. LOL
Love it!
🙂
Saw this video at the end of the last thread (thank you Dandy!) and thought it deserved it’s own thread.
Thank you. I kinda overslept this morning.
Oh you’re welcome sweetie. Glad you got a good sleep in. I’ve been having problems posting on my own blog and just glad I didn’t break yours….again 😀
There’s a media frenzy ensuing, lol ……

Maybe there’s hope for Obama drones like Fallon after all.
He did shock the other night slamming Ocare in his monologue with a reference to Obama forcing and threatening people to achieve his sign up goal.
It puts to rest the rumor that Leno was fired because of his Obama jokes.
Interesting.
Here ya go, via Hot Air:
