Wealthy Racist Tea Party Bigots Block Shelter for Abandoned Brown Refugee Children Seeking a Better Life

Seriously. NBC Chicago:

Thousands of children who cross the United States border without their parents won’t be housed in a former monastery in Olympia Fields. The Department of Health and Human Services on Monday said the facility on Governors Highway was no longer being considered as an option.
Following orders issued by President Barack Obama earlier this month, DHHS officials last week sent out a notice that the former monastery could be put to use as temporary housing for children while their relatives are located.

Congressman Randy Hultgren (IL-14) over the weekend called for those efforts to be stopped, arguing that moving the children to the facility in Chicago’s south suburb would only make matters worse for the children while creating orphanages even farther away from their homes.

“These children, unaccompanied by their families and under the control of smugglers and trafficking organizations, don’t need a stop gap solution,” he said Monday. “They should be returned to their home countries quickly and with human dignity, not left to languish in legal limbo.”

Congressional candidate Eric Wallace, who lives near the Olympia Fields, expressed concern about how the children would be absorbed into the community.

“Who will pay for the care, lodging and feeding of the children who will be moved to Olympia Fields, farther and farther away from their parents in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras? Who will be responsible for this children without legal guardians?” Wallace asked, according to the conservative Illinois Review website. “Will it be the federal, state or village of Olympia Fields and local taxpayers?”

I must say that I am totally shocked at the open racism and xenophobia displayed by these heartless bastards! They must be Tea Partiers! How can they turn away CHILDREN??? Is this town some kind of Klan headquarters? Where the hell is Olympia Fields anyway?

Olympia Fields is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 4,988 at the 2010 census. It is the location of the prestigious Olympia Fields Country Club, and is also noteworthy as one of the wealthiest “majority black” communities in the United States.

Oh, wait.

Nevermind.

Some borders are respected and enforced and some are not. The border around Illinois is selectively enforced because of political clout where the borders around Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California (including some with international treaties) are not. Rationalizing non-enforcement of such fundamental legal principles as sovereignty and implying the central authority is too weak to enforce central authority leads a population to believe they cannot enforce anything. Chaos ensues. Which is what this administration wants. They think. It also implies impotency, weakness, and lawlessness. Central America and Mexico are more powerful than the current US government which is the weakest in our history. Everyone in the world is laughing at us.

    • The Klown says:

Obama is trying to provoke a GOP/Tea Party reaction. Why else are they sending illegal aliens they caught in Texas to a desert suburb of San Diego??

Murrieta is down near Issa’s San Diego district. Lot’s of GOP live in that area.

      • Lulu says:

Yes. They seem to be targeting conservative areas although the area in South Texas has always been Dem but it may not be for long. There is talk of the state making a constitutional challenge about borders. States are not allowed to enforce borders. Only the federal government can do that. IF the feds won’t enforce a southern border why would they enforce any other border? I don’t think most people have thought about how vulnerable the entire country is with Obama. If China decided to ship a million people over and just dump them on the shores of California, Oregon and Washington would the WH stop them? I don’t think they would. I don’t think Obama et al believe in borders. Which then carried to the logical conclusion he isn’t president of anything and no one has to do a damn thing he says if he can’t enforce it. If he can say “Sue me” we can say “Make me”. It is the thinking of a tween boy.

Except for the fact that they are the nastiest bunch of fascists who have ever been in power in the US I cannot think of any other reason. They believe in collective punishment just like fascists.
OT but not really. They will TRY to get all of their perceived political enemies. http://nypost.com/2014/07/06/this-means-warren-obama-backs-challenger-to-hillary/
Like I have said before. They are really stupid children mentally and emotionally.

          • Constance says:

It is interesting that the Obots feel they need a woman candidate. I am sure the Chicago thugs worry about losing their power and they will lose it if Hillary wins. Also do you think Obama will go silent like Bush did at the end of his term? I can’t see it happening.

          • Lulu says:

Obama be quiet? Ego driven narcissists cannot be quiet. They keep digging deeper. I do think Democrats are getting scared though. Nothing he is doing is making anyone happy except his base and he is loosing some of them too. What Democrats are out making statements supporting him except for a few pro-immigration stalwarts? This is all blowing up in their face. I think it will drive down Democratic turnout this November. Republicans are about to be put on the spot to declare themselves too instead of their wishy-washy tepid pro-Chamber of Commerce slave labor backing. I don’t think either party is comfortable with how many people are following this closely.

          • Lulu says:

“Chicago thugs” are very afraid of the Clintons’ and for very good reason. Payback is a bitch.

          • DeniseVB says:

I saw that earlier, from Ed Klein’s (Blood Feud) unnamed sources. Every reputable blog is carrying it though (WZ, LI), it could be true? I’m starting to think the Dems could run Charlie Manson in 2016 and he’d win.

          • lyn says:

If I were Bill, the next time I saw Obama I’d knee him in the nuts or steal Mooch’s purse.

          • Ann says:

Do people really think Obama’s support will be helpful? Unless it is tied to some sort of cheat (not an impossibility), I’d be running fast and far from his “endorsement” and “help” in 2016 if I was a democrat with any hope of winning.

From the article… “but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies.”

            We can only hope…

          • elliesmom says:

He still controls the purse strings of a great many Democratic donors, and who he throws his support to will influence the 86% of the black voters who still believe he’s the best president evah. So, yes, his support could be valuable to the next Democratic candidate.

          • Lulu says:

“He still controls the purse strings of a great many Democratic donors…”
And the levers of the Dem party structure. Remember they moved it lock, stock and barrel to Chicago. Never has a prezzy been handed complete and total control of a party nationally. They have zero leverage over what he does. Weak president with an even weaker party. Notice most of the elected Dems have gone silent. The Repubs have too thus the power vacuum with Mexico (and central America) mooning us.

          • driguana says:

So that’s why I think they are going to run Al Gore (again) and Elizabeth Warren. You watch….really stir up the global warming issue and put a (Native American) woman on the ticket.

          • leslie says:

OMG driguana, the thought of Gore and Warren just made me throw up a little in my mouth.

    • 1539days says:

It’s also punishing the people who don’t vote Democrat. They also designated a lot of usable land in the south and west as protected federal land that took them off the states’ tax rolls.

    • DeniseVB says:

If they can quarterback sneak thousands of illegals across the borders, why can’t they get that jailed Marine?

None of this makes sense. Obama’s gone the full Cloward-Piven which should concern even the “normal” Democrats. My head is in chaos …. where’s the outrage from the moderate wing of our country?

      • leslie says:

        Obama’s gone the full Cloward-Piven . . . “
I have been saying this for a while. THEN I have to explain Cloward-Piven. Around here, they think I’m talking about the family well known for their acting skills. Then get really angry with me for saying anything bad about the Piven family. arrrrrrghh

      • 1539days says:

It’s the Marine’s fault for not illegally escaping from jail.
Right is wrong, wrong is right.

  4. elliesmom says:

Obama’s house in Chicago is empty.

  5. DandyTIger says:

So progressives are using this children as weapons to punish conservatives. Makes sense, Obama when he first ran did say children were punishment.

  6. DandyTIger says:

There are a lot of really lovely large clubs, museums, libraries, churches, school buildings, and government buildings that could house a lot of kids. And the very people pushing the hardest for massive illegal immigration, progressives, should have their communities be at the top of the list.

    • Lulu says:

I nominate the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. And the Chicago Art Institute. Both would be close to the restaurants who employ illegals. Very handy for walking to work.

      • leslie says:

I don’t know about MOMA, but the Art Institute has a lovely gourmet restaurant at the top of the American Wing. It’s a bit small, but the views of the skyline and the lake are breathtaking.

        • DeniseVB says:

I’m a MOMA member! Lots of room there! (Mostly for the location for a potty stop when I’m in town, it’s so convenient and clean). Heck a room full of illegals camping out would be considered an artwork there and they’d call it “performance art”. True story.

    • elliesmom says:

The Middlesex County Courthouse in Cambridge, MA is empty. The top four floors are a jail full of prisoners, but the other 18 floors are vacant. There’s already a food service facility. Beautiful views of the Charles River.

    • DeniseVB says:

I say support FairTax.org which closes down the IRS (reverts tax collection back to the states). Imagine all the empty buildings that would provide and since we’re paying for them anyhow, I’d rather pay to support humanitarian purposes! (or whatever cozy words the Dems are using for child trafficking.)

  7. DandyTIger says:

If you think of progressive territories as a separate country, what progressives are doing with conservative territories along with central and south america amounts to colonialism. They’re manipulating boarders and populations in areas outside of their own “country” for their own betterment. They’re doing this for what some of them may think is for the colonies own good, and for humanitarian reasons.

    • Lulu says:

And we all know what happens with colonies! They rebel and keep their own resources. This is why I am convinced Vile Progs cannot think beyond step 1 1/2. And the fact that they are very dumb.

  8. 1539days says:

Good lord. Today’s talking point is that things have gotten really bad in South America all of a sudden that caused this. Guess what? Those countries suck the same as they always have. Unless we plan to absorb whole countries, this needs to stop. The only solution is immediate busing back, not giving out appearance tickets to court they won’t appear in.

    • Lulu says:

If we shut off all trucking traffic to Mexico both coming and going this would stop in about a week. Mexico is facilitating this. They enforce their own borders very well when they want to do so.

      • The Klown says:

The vast majority of the illegals are not crossing out in the isolated deserts. They are going across where there are border cities on both sides.

        • Lulu says:

The trucking blockage would not be to stop the immigrants but to force Mexico to put a stop to all of these people stringing through to the US border. Riding on top of trains? Please. They could stop this immediately. They like this. It is destabilizing the US which makes them more powerful. Kick them in the balls economically and they will stop it after throwing a fit. Also shut down money being sent via banks, Western Union, post office, etc. Shut it off until they enforce their own border along the Rio Grande. If we can do it to Iran we can do it to Mexico.

    • The Klown says:

It would be easier and cheaper to just send the military down there to straighten things out.

It wouldn’t be the first time we invaded countries south of us.

    • leslie says:

I keep hearing that we need to be “humane” and respectful in our response. I say we give them first class tickets on whatever airlines fly to their native country. (Maybe TehOne can offer AF1 or even AF2 just to show his support of these poor people.) That should be way less expensive than social services that 1) are in short supply to our own people and finding low-to-no income housing 2) that don’t exist.

      • Lulu says:

It is more of the “talk” that has no grounding in reality. Where can they be put humanely? With family they say. What if they don’t want them or have no where to put them or can’t afford them? Then we help. How? Federal money from everyone or state and local money? Who pays for it? Keep them in Texas close to the border. Why Texas? Why close to the border if we are going to let them in indefinitely and why not sanctuary cities who have expressed their desire for them as residents? They can’t answer any questions but can only express emotions which is also what the WH is doing. The public is finally catching on that wishing and emoting solves nothing.

  9. The Klown says:

    The Petulant President

We don’t have a president leading our government; we have a petulant child throwing a series of temper tantrums.

Barack Obama has never shown an aptitude for leadership, mostly because he’s never led anything. But in his limited pre-government career as a community organizer, his job was not to accomplish anything. It simply was to get people riled up over the “injustice du-jour,” make them believe he has the cure for what ails them, and raise money. He’s run his presidency on this snake-oil-salesman mentality; only now, he’s begun to run out of suckers to bilk.

There always will be a base of sycophants, ideologues, profiteers, lemmings, low-information voters and, to put it simply, idiots, who will support any politician, no matter how awful. A Quinnipiac Poll released this week pegs that number at 8 percent for President Obama.

Yes, after doubling the national debt, sustained high unemployment, the self-inflicted border crisis, the VA body count, weaponizing the IRS, all the scandals, the broken promises, the proven lies, the golf, the lavish vacations, the Supreme Court smack-downs, there is still 8 percent of the American public who think Barack Obama is the greatest president since World War II.

But 33 percent believe he’s the worst in the same time period, more than any other president.

People are waking up. Unfortunately, it’s too late.

It seems every week now the president gives a speech on how he’s going to act as though he’s a dictator because Congress won’t give him everything he wants. The “constitutional lawyer in the Oval Office” takes great joy in pretending the other two co-equal branches of government do not exist. And they might as well not exist, given the president’s interaction with them.

When not jetting off to public events around the country, always conveniently scheduled around Democratic fundraisers so taxpayers can pick up the travel tab, the president golfs. In fact, while on his “official trips” the president golfs. The only thing that can pull him off the links are campaign-style rallies and fundraisers. There’s never been a president more interested in the trappings of the office but less interested in the duties of it.

So, I was on a search for an Alinsky/Cloward/Piven for Dummies type of explanation for President BizzarObama, when I found this short video. Eureka! And creepy. Wasn’t prepared for the McCain/Palin ’08 at the end. It’s undated (though comments go back 5 years), it predicted everything Obama’s f**ked us with…….it was probably considered tinfoily back then?

  12. Constance says:

Here is my border control plan. We need a ten mile buffer between the Mexico border and the American border. So Mexico can shovel people over their border and they can wander around in limbo where the Progressive Democrats can set up aid stations at their own expense and they can tend to to poor unfortunates till their little hearts are full of goodness. However they would not be able to offer Citizenship privileges or monetary aid from the government.

    • Constance says:

Mind you in my world it would be better to put people back in their own cultures where they can build a real life for themselves. I find the idea of being a dependent victim horrible but clearly it appeals to some people and clearly some people need to foster a never ending supply of victims to fill their need to be needed. So we might as well have a plan to deal with these people that keeps them restricted to using their own resources for their “charity”.

      • elliesmom says:

Most of my college buddies have been at least moderately successful, but one of the guys made a lot of bad decisions along the way and finds himself looking at his old age with nothing much in the way of assets. When we get together, he often goes on a rant about how people ought to be more willing to give the government the money it needs to “help people”. The guys pour him another beer and say, “Sure, you go first.” It’s mean, but he had every advantage they had. The difference was he thought he was owed those advantages, and the rest of the guys didn’t so they used them more wisely.

        • Lulu says:

Being overly concerned with “victims” or advocating helping others is one way to avoid examining or correcting anything wrong in your own life but still getting to feel good about yourself. You can be a wretched human being personally but think you are wonderful. It is both a coping mechanism and avoidance. It is a very common type of asshole.

My mother had a very bright and caring friend. She had knock down drag out fights with her husband in the backyard, her kids would wander over to our house sometimes and ask for something to eat even though her husband had a very good job. Two of her four children dropped out of high school. Two sons went to prison. She was the director of Catholic Charities in our town. She worked on everyone’s problems but her own and was kind and generous to everyone but her own family. This used to be rare but it is now chronic.

      • DeniseVB says:

Have you read Gutfeld’s Not Cool ? The whole book addresses the “feel good” culture who literally do nothing to solve the problems they’re (or think they’re) protecting and advocating. While the Dems have the fauxrage, Repubs are just as guilty. BILLIONS being donated to political candidates doesn’t solve the problems they’re promising to fix.

Thanks Denise. Now that I think about it, I’m a third generation legal immigrant as well. I wonder if that’s why this whole illegal border crossings bothers me so much. I know that on both sides, my family gave up and risked everything to come here. They didn’t expect ANYTHING be given to them. And nothing was. They learned the language, they worked hard, and they succeeded.

    • leslie says:

Geez, I didn’t even hear of some of these on the news today. I did hear that there were several incidents of a “group” (up to 100 ppl) had beaten up someone on Lake Shore Drive near the “Gold Coast”, and that there were other “groups of youths” that engaged in menacing behavior in front of Nordstrom’s on Michigan Avenue, and others near Pearson and Michigan were throwing M-80s around. You know, just “regular kid stuff”. Out of the more that 100 “youth”, there were only 16 arrests for their behavior. And they made a really big deal about 6 of them were here from the suburbs. Let’s not call it what it is, and let’s not arrest anyone because…… PR or PC or whatever. Srsly, it’s beginning to sound like Baltimore.

A secure border is essential to our national security. The national media still sit on Obama’s lap.

    • 1539days says:

Rick Perry is 100% on message. It’s too bad he didn’t do this in the 2012 primaries. Compassion is not defined by letting people commit crimes because they need something. We don’t let poor people steal food. We don’t let parents with sick kids hold hospitals hostage for organ transplants.

If ABC, NBC and the other networks want to keep kids here on humanitarian grounds just because they were the ones who were willing to do something dangerous to get here, I have an idea. Let’s create a “Who wants to live in America?” game show. We can film kids holding on to the tops of rail cars and getting molested by perverts. The ones who suffer the most win. That’s what they are enabling.

      • Lulu says:

I haven’t read or seen Hunger Games but isn’t this similar to that? I think there are a lot of Vile Proggie types who get some kind of thrill out of this dystopian horror show going on. The gruesome details are getting them excited and all emo and shit. It is really sick.

        • elliesmom says:

Sort of. In the Hunger Games each territory has a lottery. A young woman and a young man are chosen. They’re sent to a holographic arena where they are expected to fight to the death. The rest of the folks place wagers, send “gifts” to the contestants, and cheer on their favorites. The winner gets “lovely parting gifts”. I read the first book so I could look cool to the kids I taught, but I stopped there. It’s young adult literature, and it hits its target pretty well.

Cloward Piven is a theory which has never country tested so how does anyone know if it would work?

    • 1539days says:

The strategy is simply to get everyone who can possibly get on the dole on it until the government runs out of money. In happened in NYC in the 70’s and a few other places. It’s why ACORN exists (or existed). At the federal level, we don’t run out of money because we go into debt.

The end game for the Cloward-Piven strategy was to create a guaranteed wage for everyone. That already happened in the Soviet Union. Have you ever tried to use something built in the Soviet Union? Much like Cloward-Piven, it doesn’t work.

I will never abridge myself. I do not need to. I do not speak that way but if I did need to say f a g got or c u n t I would and screw anyone who goes bannanas about a word. It is just stupid. My grandmother bought me a very expensive jacket when I went to Purdue. . She was so proud. I know she loved me same lady loved to scream cock sucker. She would go to Bingo Wednesdsys and Fridays I sold the tickets. She never behaved. I stepped on a nail one time and everyone was afraid of me because I had had two open hearts not that crazy bitch she slung me over her shoulder and knocked everyone out of the way. She was screaming like a banshee. I did not even need stitches. Roof tack. Some would listen to my grandmother and call her a homophobic bigot. He was heavily involved in this just as Democrat Steve Israel played a major role in blocking a Long Island, NY location. This is a time bomb. Rather that “children,” most are males 14-18 – too old to educate, but just the right age for gangs.

    • The Klown says:

It’s a pretty good racket for the Democrats – they send the illegals to GOP districts and if anyone complains they call them racists. Meanwhile the Democrat districts get a free pass.

    • Constance says:

Males 14-18 are not “Children” they are the perfect age for gangs and terrorism. So what interest does our Obot government have strengthening the gangs and probably the drug networks? Also haven’t we been told by the Progressive Democrat party that we must grant amnesty and citizenship to illegals because our country will have huge financial benefit? So far all I see is cheap labor pushing down wages and government spending to support the illegals. When does the financial benefit start?

  25. elliesmom says:

There are 31 cities in the US that have officially passed ordinances that make them officially safe havens for illegal immigrants. Alinsky’s rule #4 is to make the enemy live up to its own rules. It only makes sense to at least embarrass these cities by letting them know we expect them to step up to the plate. There’s a lot of vacant property in Detroit, which is on the list. If the government spent money rehabbing property in Detroit for temporary housing for the illegals until they could be deported, put money into schools for the kids to attend while they’re here, it could be a win-win. The market value of property would increase, there would be incentives for the legal residents of Detroit to want to take control back, and the weather might be an incentive for the Central Americans to want to go home.

    • The Klown says:

That makes too damn much sense to ever work.

IIRC that is what Canada did when Hong Kong reverted back to China. $500,000 or more would buy an entrance into Canadian citizenship.

US CIS issues EB-5 investor class visas which put foreign investors of minimum $1 million businesses on a permanent path to US citizenship. Believe 6,000 were issued last year.

I do not know if this is true but I heard they are looking at a county tax. Dump the kids in the poorest neighborhood then hit everyone up with a sugar tax. Cities across the country are flat out broke. No way they can handle such an influx. I am told it is going to be a for the kids tax. Which is just a pretty way to pass city debt off to the burbs. I had a bar and the town had not one bus. We had to charge 7% on every drink for the busses that did not serve the community. I hear the same thing will be applied to fund illegals. The tax and spend liberals think you will not care. They feel smug offering sanctuary then go behind your back and tax you to pay for bad decisions.

One of the powder kegs in NY state has to do with exploding property taxes. They were allowed to get that way because every school budget was “for the children,” even though teachers get about 80% of that budget. Now they really started getting slick and added the library operating budget onto the school budget.

Cuomo made a big show about property tax relief. Many municipalities blow through the caps anyway because the majority of the people who vote on school budgets are parents, teachers and their families.

Well that is the usual scam to pay for professional sports arenas which, like illegal aliens also supposedly bring loads of money to local citizens.

Just reading about it makes me itch.
True story, when I was a kid, a doctor in a rush misdiagnosed my eczema as scabies. For months I had to use this harsh soap & a cream, I think, which just made the eczema worse. Ugh.
