Sunday Morning Nothing Breakfast Burrito

Blogging0067

I just spent the past two hours looking for a topic to discuss. I found nada planada.

I’m gonna go back to bed and try to sleep until Monday. Maybe the world will look better by then.

This is an open thread.

Steven Crowder’s 3 minute lesson on the history of the Israel v. The World. “Why do the leftists support the side that beats their women and hangs their gays?”

    • The Klown says:

This is your typical LWNJ “debunking” of a “lie”.

If your read the story (or the one at Cannonfire) you will discover that the guys who did the kidnapping and killing were not following orders of the Hamas leadership, they were just a “lone cell” that was “affiliated” with Hamas who acted on their own.

      • DeniseVB says:

Those pesky “cells” and the media that supports them.

      • 1539days says:

And yet those three Israelis who killed a Palestinian (and are in jail for it) were acting on direct IDF orders according to every wrongheaded idiot ever.

        • Lauren says:

Damn Israelis with their democratic values, rule of law, and justice system. The 3 accused Israeli perpetrators may even have to have a fair trial and might be brought to justice, as in convicted of murder and punished accordingly.
The BBC is a ceaspool of left wing terror apologists. They have been spewing Jew and American hatred for years.

    • The Klown says:

The Arabic word for "ceasefire" translates as "a pause for reloading".— Klown 2.0 (@realmyiq2xu2) July 27, 2014

      • Lauren says:

You are on fire today Klown. And the rest of you have made my day. So greatful to have a place like TCH to rest my weary brain while I watch Obama f**k over the world. And BTW, I miss Helen.

  2. DeniseVB says:

No big whoop, I always stand with Rob Lowe 😉

    • lyn says:

Obama changed America’s motto to “Free and Flee.”

      • DeniseVB says:

Obama’s changed America’s mojo too, grrrrrr. Damn, I despise him and the people who support him unconditionally. There’s no debate anymore, just shut up 😉

        • driguana says:

I know…I now feel the same way….can’t believe so many of my friends are still so staunchly in his camp and refuse to have even a decent conversation about it all….so very sad.

  3. lildoggy4u says:

Meanwhile, there’s that little problem of this administration’s castigation of people in gov’t trying to do the right thing. Remember the VA and our suffering vets, seems like a long time ago doesn’t it?http://tinyurl.com/p46oahk

    • DeniseVB says:

And to think, Congress is still taking their 5 week break despite nothing being accomplished. I just hope they take away Obama’s pen and phone first.

      • Lulu says:

It has gotten to the point that it doesn’t matter what Congress does. Obama won’t follow it anyway. It really is a constitutional crisis in a slow motion kind of way. It reminds me of people whose kids go to jail or get killed. They say “S/He wouldn’t listen. He wouldn’t do what he was told. No one could tell her/him anything.” We are living in a country terrorized by a oppositional defiance disorder teen with several other personality disorders to boot. The Democrats and media put this crazypants in charge and I will never forgive them.

        • lyn says:

          ^This^

        • DeniseVB says:

Bravo ! Well ranted. What depresses me more, are the dweebs on the oppo side rolling over like submissive little lapdogs while looking for fundraising catchphrases to grab our money but make us think they’re actually doing something……like this #FAIL….

          http://twitchy.com/2014/07/26/did-you-abandon-the-gop-rncs-fundraising-email-blast-is-massive-misfire/

I really don’t mind when the left calls me a racist bigot teabagger, just don’t call me a Republican ! 😉

          • Lulu says:

The enablers as I think of them. I think they are terrorized too by him and his other enablers who are at heart just a mean girl junior high school clique. It is just a movement of bullies. I don’t care what they call me either because I now know how afraid and dumb they are. They hitched their wagon to his star and are now in the same boat. Think of Jonathan “Pay me big bucks to give smirky speeches on how we are going to screw you” Gruber as the basically average Bot Vile Prog. He LIED in an amicus brief about HEALTHCARE policy affecting the entire country. FOR MONEY! You cannot get lower than that without indiscriminately murdering people which I think he probably has done indirectly with his scam. That is stupid, clueless, willfully blind Democrat tribalism.

          • DandyTIger says:

Wow, that’s stunning. Lose money with a fundraising email. Genius. Looks like they’re primed and ready to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Just like in ’12. Just can’t decide if it’s on purpose or if they’re really that incompetent.

          • DandyTIger says:

          • votermom says:

            LOL.
Cant wait for the next email pitch: “For just $10 a day you can help a poor starving Republican staffer in DC!”

          • DeniseVB says:

VM…back in the day, I was recruited out of a DC area “junior” college, geeze, in the first semester, to join the staff of a freshman Republican Congressman, I took the job because in the mid-60’s, it paid more than a teacher in the DC area. I was just 18. I feel bad I skipped the fast food min wage experience at the time. 🙂

  4. DeniseVB says:

Here’s a Taylor Swift fix for myiq. Actually it’s quite good ……

  5. Gojoyknocks says:

I slide to power off my iPad, it goes off and immediately comes back on. Anybody, anybody?

  6. DeniseVB says:

Here’s the group behind all those anti-Israel demonstrations that’s getting MASS partisan media coverage:

    http://www.answercoalition.org/

I remember them from the “peace” (anti-Bush) marches, so they’ve been around forever. Wonder if the IRS has ever questioned their non-profit status ? The link has a list of other groups (like Code Pink) that should trigger IRS concerns also.

Again I ask, why would the leftists support the people who believe in beating women and hanging gays? I made the mistake of asking that question on a Think Progress tweet the other day and the responses surprised me ……Because, they’re being slaughtered by the Jews and don’t have time to worry about women and gays. Say what? I’m really worried about our country 😦

    • lyn says:

Why would anyone support women-beaters and gay-hangers?!

      • Lauren says:

“Why would anyone support women-beaters and gay-hangers?”

It feels sooo good to be self-rightous dontcha know?

    • Somebody says:

Why are so many Jewish Americans lefties?

Why do so many lefties defend and support Muslims? Heck why are Muslim Americans dems? Think about that mess at the 2012 dem convention about God. I remember the cameras panning over to what appeared to be a group of Muslims (the women were in Muslim garb) booing God. You’d think based purely on their “morals” Muslim Americans would feel more aligned with the religious right???

Those things all seem counterintuitive to me, but what the hell do I know. BTW I need more coffee or something I continually made and had to correct the following typo; Muslime instead of Muslim……OY!

    • Lauren says:

It’s the same rent-a-mob I’ve been watching since the late 80’s. It’s frightening and I can’t remember when I worried so much about our country.

Picked this up from Gay Patriot
Ten Reasons Why I am no longer a leftist

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/07/ten_reasons_i_am_no_longer_a_leftist.html

    • Lulu says:

I read that and it is so true. Think of a large percentage of Dems going though various permutations of what she has. This is why Democrats are constantly trying to find new people for their fake coalitions. They can’t hang on to huge numbers of voters because they say one thing and do another. .

  8. DeniseVB says:

Okay, just going with the Breakfast Burrito Club Open Thread theme /snork. I usually don’t pay attention to tabloids, especially when Obama’s daughters’ are off limits, but this TMZ “gotcha” couldn’t be resisted….

    http://www.tmz.com/2014/07/25/michelle-obama-malia-sasha-selfie-phtoto-beyonce-jay-z-concert/

Scroll down, second photo of the First First Daughter. Is that a Michael Jackson nose? Or a bad photoshop? I renounce myself. Kerry on 😉

  9. driguana says:

I am quite stunned and devastated by what is happening with the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, especially Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, three places I know quite well…..and the lack of coverage or concern in the US. Bill O’Reilly has been one of the few to cover it in any detail. What is really scary is how many LIberians live in the US and travel back and forth. I have deep concern.

    • 1539days says:

Ebola kills so quickly that it would be tough to create a global pandemic. The real scary thing is that no one really knows what the source of it is, except that monkeys have found it and killing them can transmit the disease.

    • WMCB says:

It’s pretty awful. And yes, stuff like that is another reason why controlling one’s borders is essential. It is a FACT that diseases etc exist in the thirld world that just don’t here. Letting all and sundry come with no screening is asking for trouble.

  10. foxyladi14 says:

I did not even know this town existed. Caring for the mentally ill, for centuries. In a decidedly non-institutional, non-bureaucratized, personal, human-scaled way. Fascinating.

Maybe they were the same ones that laughed out loud while watching Shindler’s List.

    • leslie says:

My son told me that his students (4th, 5th, 6th graders), are now wearing baseball caps to cover their yarmulkes. They and their families have been receiving threats in their mailboxes and posted on their car windshields. These kids can’t even go to summer camp – in Chicago – without protection. This is obscene.

  16. 49erDweet says:

Science are hard! Retired Forest Firefighter BIL was telling me wildfires in the Sierra foothills are way down this year because drought last winter didn’t replenish the “fuel load”, or underbrush as we call it. That didn’t stop scientific alarmists from warning of worst Sierra fire season ever. Which it isn’t. Maybe fire predictors need more training in basic ag?
