My liver jumped out of my body and ran down the street. I’ll need serious medication for the world series.

  3. Lulu says:

The non-tracking self-tracking tracking of Dallas health care workers by the top men assigned by the CDC to Dallas appears to be resulting in an international incident on a cruise ship in Belize. The ship is futzing around in the Gulf with no port around a hurricane with 4,000 people on board. The government of Belize is very angry and told Bronco’s top men to go fuck themselves when they wanted to off load the person (and spouse) in question. The cruise ship sailed out of Galveston before the merde hit the fan with the two nurses. Incompetence and political correctness as farce. Cascading failure. Who will let them dock or will they have to come straight back to Galveston before anyone is let off the ship to be quarantined. This entire country is going to be on quarantine so west Africans can be FREE to travel wherever they want!

      • votermom says:

Malaria rarely kills this quickly. Maybe he had a heart attack or stroke. At any rate, this guy, if it was malaria, would have been running a temp before he got on the plane. How’d that happen?

        • Lulu says:

He took a big dose of Tylenol or something. Who knows? They are not checking anything. It is blarney and butt covering after the fact. They just want to get to the next news cycle so the fail goes away. Lie, make something up, look! a bird!, that is so last week man, this particular vomit is safe, the Republicans and Rick Perry made us do it, the President said …….. something but I forgot. It is a clown show but not smart klowns like The Klown.

    • leslie says:

I am so enraged by this Ebola mess, I cannot even speak about it coherently. I wish very bad things for bronco. I just had to delete a verrry looong rant because the more I wrote, the angrier I became. And the more I wrote, the closer I came to being arrested befcause of my wishes for the current resident of the WH.

      • mothy6767 says:

        Right there with you.

      • foxyladi14 says:

        Me too Leslie 😑

        • swanspirit says:

Been there and back , I have to stop before I make myself sick over it . Stress kills!!! Incompetence is being displayed on a level incomprehensible . It is as if care was given by people who were busy partying; and who were rudely interrupted from their party to do their fucking jobs .

          • Constance says:

Not to worry, they have hired a political hack with no medical experience to be Ebola Czar. So the defensive BS slinging should be more coordinated and politically motivated.

          • Propertius says:

It’s okay, Constance. Being a lawyer, he’ll send the virus a sternly-worded cease-and-desist letter. That should fix everything.

    • foxyladi14 says:

Disgusting and it is all Bronco’s fault. πŸ‘Ώ

  4. DeniseVB says:

Wow. Travis Ishikawa played for our Norfolk Tides (Triple A) just last year. You’re welcome πŸ˜‰

  5. Lulu says:

    The cluster-fuckery spreads.
“The military is using an Ebola screening machine that could have diagnosed the Ebola cases in Texas far faster, but government guidelines prevent hospitals from using it to actually screen for Ebola.” “Incredibly, it was present at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital when Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan walked through the door, complaining of fever and he had just come from Liberia. Duncan was sent home, but even still, FDA guidelines prohibited the hospital from using the machine to screen for Ebola.” “But unless hospitals agree to use the machine specifically for research purposes, rather than actually diagnosing patients with Ebola, they can’t look for Ebola in samples.”

  6. mothy6767 says:

Check out the Daily Mail this am. People being quarantine d all over the place. Has anything been said about the food chain?

  7. Klown, I’m happy you get to enjoy an extended baseball season. Mine never began since we’re stuck with the Miami Marlins who, as soon as they won the World Series were disbanded for money. But we had to build them a brand new world class stadium in an area nobody will go to anyway. They close off cheap seats at the beginning of the season so the TV folks at home won’t see the empty seats and wonder why nobody here supports the home team.

  8. The Klown says:

    • votermom says:

They are saying it’s malaria, which is what is most common in Nigeria I think. They don’t really have an active Ebola outbreak there anymore since they so raycissly banned travelers from the hot zone.

      • Lulu says:

Since it takes two days for the CDC to test a sample they don’t know jack squat. They don’t know where he has been before he hopped that plane. At this point they are just running around trying to cover their butts.

  9. The Klown says:

  10. HELENK3 says:

You have corrupted me MYIQ. I watched the last half of the game and did the mummer’s strut when Moore hit his homerun.I never saw anyone so happy as he was. You just had to celebrate with him. I did the strut again when the GIANTS WON THE PENNANT.
This is the first time i ever did the mummber’s strut for any team other than a Philadelphia team.
enjoy the series. i am glad your team won

  11. HELENK3 says:

Do we pay for the CDC or does West Africa? just wondering

  12. HELENK3 says:

stolen from a commenter at Rev Amy’s place
this article nails it on how the thrill is gone

  13. HELENK3 says:

lab tech who handled patient zero lab specimens is on Caribbean cruise to Belize. that country will not allow the ship to land. It looks like the lab tech is sick too

  14. HELENK3 says:

  15. HELENK3 says:

the ebola scare is going to affect more than the airlines
longshoremen refuse to board ship from West Africa

    • foxyladi14 says:

Smart men I would not get on it either. πŸ™‚

    • Constance says:

Smart, AND the real issue is did the crew get off, because if they did there will be infected sex workers wherever they landed(or maybe it is just a stereotype that sailors are horny). Also did any rodents jump ship here? Because that is how you get a reservoir of Ebola built up first in rats and mice and then in feral cats and dogs and then in pet cats and dogs and on to humans.

  16. votermom says:

    Here’s my tinfoil Thursday thought

  17. HELENK3 says:

what do you think of this judge?
he refused delay, should not have complained over crying baby

    • 49erDweet says:

She is an attorney. She accepted the case knowing her own personal situation AND the previously set hearing date. She had a duty to notify her clients there could be a conflict. She may have thought it was no big deal, but it became one. Postponing cases is oftentimes a game. The judge, though harsh, may not be playing those games.

  18. leslie says:

Before I leave for work, I wanted to ask if anyone watched Morning Joe today? (cynic I’m looking at you. Congressman Duffy (R-WI) was there with his wife and their youngest child, Marguerite. The Duffys have 7 children – all beautiful and none on welfare (AFAIK).
The first thing out of the mouth of one of the “panelists” was, “You didn’t think 6 was enough?”
I don’t know who that asshat was, but if someone can post his name, I’d be grateful. I’ll check throughout the day. I want his head on a platter. I wonder if he’d ask that of some of the clients I work with – many who have MORE than 7 kids and many of them with several men – none of whom stuck around or have had anything to do with the kids or the mothers.
I guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. srsly.

    • HELENK3 says:

Why I could never be a politician , my first response would be ” you did not think you needed a lobotomy?”

    • cynic says:

Guilty, can’t stop watching (but I’m up by 4:00). The Duffy’s are a great looking family, and it was a cute commercial.

      In answer to your question:

Sam Stein, Political Editor, White House correspondent, Huffington Post, 29

      • cynic says:

Leslie, did you notice that there was no mention of a man dying on a plane, or Hunter Biden failing a drug test, but they spent enough time talking about Charlie Crist and his fan!

      • leslie says:

Thanks, cynic. I know I have 2 channels that my little teevee automatically goes to and in the morning it is Morning Joe. I was just so ticked at his sass (Sam’s) and judgmental thinking. I wondered if his mother took a look at him and said, “1 is enough”. I hope he’s on twitter.

        • cynic says:

Usually, Joe doesn’t give him much of a chance to speak, but for some reason, Joe’s barely been on this week. Mika gives him more of a chance to talk. Isn’t he one of those Journolister’s?

  19. HELENK3 says:

US home construction rose 6.3% in September, fueled by building more apartments – @AP, @ReutersBiz

interesting. home ownership a thing of the past?

    • Lulu says:

This is the reasoning of a child who doesn’t want daddy denied a visa after being deported. Get my drift? Remember he has said he “feels” responsible for Africa. Why? He isn’t the president of Africa. If his first concern is Africa what are we? The wallets? This is going downhill fast and he looks stupid and like an asshole.

  20. HELENK3 says:

    opinion poll
should the democrats change their party symbol from the donkey to the four horsemen of the apocalypse?

  21. HELENK3 says:

WOW now we know where the backtrack bunch get their accounting lessons on the GDP

  22. Somebody says:

AYFKM? Obama just named an ebola czar Ron Klein a fucking attorney, he names a fucking attorney as his ebola czar. Not just any attorney a dem party machine attorney OMFG!

  23. mothy6767 says:

Had to shut the tv off the NIH guy just seems a little too happy to finally have a patient on his turf. I am going to crawl under the blankets and watch mindless TV.
I will save my tin foil hat theories.

Talking to my 9 year old grandson Ben:

Me: “You see that thingie with the green flashing lights?”

Ben: “Do you mean the wireless router?”

I have never felt so old in my life.

      • Somebody says:

Kids these days are much more computer literate.

Reminds me of when my then 7 year old was diagnosed with cancer. They sent in a team with a video and dolls to talk to her about her diagnosis and upcoming surgery to insert her port-a-cath. She rolled her eyes and said “Please don’t treat me this way”. Then she looked at anesthesiologist and “You, the anesthesiologist what are you going to use? IV anesthesia, gas, what?” She looked over at the surgeon and the oncologist and said “You two tell me the risks, the odds and the side effects and don’t sugar coat this. I want to know the facts, I can handle it”.

She blew their minds and from that point on they called her the midget, LOL! Because of her understanding they also went over all procedures with her and required assent signatures from her for all of her treatments. That’s normally something they do with teens, not with 7 year olds. BTW at 7 she didn’t know cursive, but demanded I teach her pronto how to properly sign her name.

        • DeniseVB says:

          How’s she doing ? {{{hugs}}} On a related note….

Back in ’74 when “Special Greg” was born, he was like the 3rd kid in the U.S. diagnosed with Williams Syndrome and he became a “study” (guinea pig) for UCSD’s Dysmorpholgy Dept of Nosy People. Nobody had a clue then, no, it wasn’t viral or contagious or other spooky guilt trips I had to endure. Just weird. Had no prognosis back then either. 3-5-10-20 years? He just turned 40 last Feb.

        • votermom says:

Wow! What a smart kid! How is she doing?

        • HELENK3 says:

what a wonderful kid. you must be so proud of her. and I bet you and mr somebody learn something from her everyday.

        • leslie says:

Both Somebody and Denise simply amazing. All the best to your “kids” and their parents!

          • foxyladi14 says:

A Big Amen to that. πŸ˜€

          • Somebody says:

Thanks, she’s doing fine she’s 15 now and in high school. Last Thanksgiving marked 5 years off treatment… she supposedly has a better chance of getting hit by lightning than she does of relapsing. There are some long term neurocognitive side effects like processing speed issues, but she manages. Luckily she’s really smart so that helps. She also has some bone damage which has resulted in a partially collapsed ankle. I’m not sure what is what with that because every doctor has a different opinion, argh!

Denise I couldn’t imagine having the 3rd kid diagnosed with anything ((((HUGS)))).

          • cynic says:

Didn’t realize how many of us have had challenges along the way. Thanks Helen for the horse video. My daughter was born with craniosynostosis (premature fusing of soft spots). She fell in love with horses at 18 mos., and at 2 1/2, we bought a house in the country so that we could eventually get her a horse.

She had many reconstructive surgeries through the years, and she was always a trooper. Horses were her therapy, and they got her through some tough times.

She just celebrated her 3rd wedding anniversary, and bought a second horse.

If you can’t keep up, grandpa, you can at least get out of their way!

  26. Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy says:

Congratulations, Klown! It was a great game – a real nailbiter, that’s for sure. And that was SOME homerun to cap it off.

I still cannot believe the Royals swept the Orioles!

Should be a great Series, tat’s for sure. Again, congratulations!

  27. DandyTIger says:

CDC types came out and gave a presser, in white coats. They actually felt the need to do the white coat thing. And then Obama just announced an Ebola Czar. Wasn’t really worried before. Just bemused at the incompetence. Now I’m starting to wonder.

  28. HELENK3 says:

CDC has more safeguards for second hand smoke than it does for ebola

    • DeniseVB says:

AND, it seems the ebola vaccines being tested are tabacco based ? Coincidence ? I think not. πŸ˜‰

      • Lulu says:

That is why they have been dragging their feet on it. The processing for the compounds and the unusual strain of tobacco is owned by RJ Reynolds. Very politically incorrect.

        • Lulu says:

We will probably find out next year that you can cure Ebola by smoking a pack of unfiltered Chesterfields.

        • DeniseVB says:

I ain’t quitting my Merits(tm) Phillip Morris yet. Wondering why I never get sick now. True story πŸ˜‰

        • votermom says:

I read yesterday that the Ebola virus does not survive on metal surfaces. We may need to upgrade from tin foil hats to tin foil body suits!
          It’s all connected…

          • leslie says:

I just returned from the main part of the hospital where I work. NOBODY is buying anything that is coming out of the CDC ot the WH. In fact, I just heard from no less than 3 AA’s who are working today, that “the only thing that [bronco] does is go on vacations and golf” .I’m not kidding. This is in chicago.

  29. HELENK3 says:

only took her 6 years to understand that backtrack has contempt for the American people

  31. HELENK3 says:

    it gets worse

Cruise ship with healthcare worker on board not given permission to dock in Mexico; heading back to Texas – @CBSDFW

Mexico says NO to cruise ship

    • Somebody says:

      The ship of doom!

    • Constance says:

So the cruise company is another company who can sue the Fake Quarantine planners. Of course the Fake Quarantine enforcers work for the government, in other words us, so here is more Ebola damage us taxpayers can pay for. Let’s see, cruise companies, airlines….whats next?

  33. Somebody says:

This is beyond fuck up this is maniacal, seriously the man is deranged.

I’m so pissed right now. If I could be in charge for a day I would demand every single person that voted for this piece of shit be forced to have a big scarlett O tattooed on their foreheads. They deserve to walk around being shamed and scorned for the rest of their lives.

  34. HELENK3 says:

WH official says Pres Obama feels current officials working on Ebola have done outstanding work, but have other demands on their time.

    there are no words

  35. votermom says:

    Did someone see this yesterday?

President Obama assured the American public that our country’s Ebola risk was extremely low, even after a federal government-funded study quietly found a nearly 25 percent chance of Ebola reaching the United States in September 2014.

  36. Somebody says:

Another possible ebola case in Dallas
